The goal and bounden duty of every disciple is to keep all of Baba's
discourses "as is"-- in their pristine state and original condition. It is
not that some of His teachings should be preserved and other discourses can
be changed-- that is not our way. All must be kept "as is".
Baba is the Guru and all His words-- every single discourse, irregardless
of the topic-- must remain in their original state.
Even then, some opportunists are squirming and squiggling about this-- they
want to change things according to their own agenda. In particular, this
deceitful circus act is going on around Baba's AM Revolution discourse.
A CASE THAT IS BREWING UP A STORM
As we know, Baba's historic 'Ananda Marga: A Revolution' discourse is of
utmost significance and importance. Here, in broad, sweeping strokes Baba
is beautifully outlining some of the key aspects & fundamental components
of our AM way of life.
However, some-- due to their depraved outlook-- have a deep seeded plan to
permanently change Baba's original discourse. And no amount of ideological
reasoning and rational discussion can sway them from their unholy agenda,
so it seems.
UNIQUENESS OF AM REVOLUTION DISCOURSE
Yet in this 'AM Revolution' discourse, Baba is pointedly explaining through
diverse perspectives how Ananda Marga is completely unique in the history
of this earth, nay of this universe.
Baba says, "Never before in the entire history of this world or the
universe, if it could be known to mortals, has a system of life fully
embracing the economic, social, mental and spiritual spheres ever been
correlated in such closely knit society as in Ananda Marga." (PNS-11, 'AM
Revolution', p.1)
Hence in this 'AM Revolution' discourse Baba is defining the overall
magnificence of Ananda Marga as well as revealing many of its unique
elements. So this discourse holds a special place in our AM scripture.
A CAREFUL WATCH IS NEEDED
But some have it set in their mind to purposely distort Baba's original
'Ananda Marga: A Revolution' discourse, irregardless. This is their intent
and this is what they are openly lobbying for.
So we should all keep a keen eye & vigilantly watch, lest certain
opportunists alter Baba's AM Revolution discourse according to their
selfish desires-- something they are in the process of doing at this very
moment.
Exactly who these "opportunists" are will become more clear as we review
this whole situation.
BABA'S DISCOURSES SHOULD BE KEPT AS IS
So once again, as disciples of our Revered Sadguru, one of our explicit
duties is to keep all His discourses intact-- in their original condition.
This is one of our most sacred responsibilities.
There should be no question of any groupism on this point. Whether H or B,
whether margii or WT, that is all meaningless and not of our concern. Our
sole collective objective and only motive is to maintain the sanctity and
authenticity of Baba's words.
All in AM should be wholly united and ready to do anything and everything
to uphold this sacred responsibility. Because the singular intent is to
serve Baba by preserving His discourses, as they were given.
Unfortunately some have their separate opinion about this-- their own
agenda. And that we will review.
First let us examine the way in which Baba's discourses can be properly
managed.
METHOD OF MAINTAINING HIS DISCOURSES
All along, since 90, there has been a standard system for maintaining and
updating Baba's teachings. In particular, there are two fundamental pathways:
#1: Printed discourses may be corrected and updated by comparing them with
the original audio recording of Baba's darshan from that very day.
#2: If there is no original cassette, then the discourse can be updated
only by comparing it with the original printed version in the original
language.
There is no third option for updating any discourse.
Hence to date, each and every discourse has followed one of these above two
prescribed methods. In no case has any discourse been "updated" or
"corrected" in any other way.
Inventing some so-called third system means distorting AM scripture.
THE EDITING PROCESS IN ACTION
Innumerable books have been neatly & meticulously edited via approach #1,
ie referencing the original audio recording. This is commonly done.
Then there are various other discourses and texts that have been updated
via approach #2, by comparing it with the original printed version. Such
was the case with Ananda Sutram.
As you may be aware, Ananda Sutram was originally given by Baba in Bengali.
And after '90, updates, edits, and corrections were made to some editions
of Ananda Sutram-- such as the English edition. And that is fine and well.
Because a systematic approach was taken and all corrections done were based
on Baba's approved original version.
So in the case of updating Ananda Sutram, no opportunist is inventing some
third approach by standing in the middle of the street and yelling that
Baba made a fundamental error and philosophical mistake when He first gave
Ananda Sutram, and, now 40 or 50 years later, that mistake needs to be
corrected. No one is making such a ludicrous claim with regards to updating
Ananda Sutram.
Yet that is the outlandish scene going on right now with the AM Revolution
discourse, because of their selfish agenda and their diseased outlook.
Specifically, with regards to the 'AM Revolution' discourse, such
opportunists are neither following system #1 nor #2, but rather inventing
their own so-called third way for "updating" Baba's discourses. So this is
all their sham-- nothing more.

HERE ARE THE FACTS
...With regards to the AM Revolution discourse, there is no audio tape of
it as it was not recorded. Then how was it given-- how did it get printed?
The discourse was originally given by Baba in English in 1957 and select
devotees noted it down and got their written version approved by Baba. By
that process the AM Revolution discourse first got printed in the book,
"Tattvika Praveshika" in 1957-- along with several other discourses that
were fully approved and to this day remain in flawless condition.
From 1959 to 1990, the AM Revolution discourse was printed in various AM books, in
its proper form. And then in 1987, certain Bangalistan oriented Wts secrectly
altered the 1987 Bengali version. And they got away with it because the Bengali
books have the smallest number of sales and smallest readership.
And it was this ploy that has started the brushfire of distortion related
with this unique discourse.
FEW OPPORTUNISTS ARE MAKING A MESS
Unfortunately, some opportunists have singled out the AM Revolution
discourse from the Tattvika Praveshika book and declared that Baba has made
some very fundamental errors and philosophical mistakes in this discourse.
This is their unholy & outrageous claim.
In particular they are pointing towards that section where Baba is uniquely
outlining margii rights and margiis' stature in AM society. According to a
few opportunists, Baba "made a mistake" when He first gave this AM
Revolution discourse-- so it should be corrected. This is their so-called
claim.
And based on this hysteria, such opportunists want to "rework"-- read as
'distort' or 'delete'-- that section about margii rights from the AM
Revolution discourse. This is their scam. Because really their only
intention is to permanently eliminate and alter that section of the
discourse.
So every rational person recognises their malefied intention and crooked
plan to "rebuild" Baba's discourse according to their own opportunistic
liking.
THE NEW POINT
Actually this is not news to anyone. Most are aware about this point of
scriptural distortion claimed by such opportunists.
Here the new point is NOT that some opportunists have devised the selfish
plan to permanently distort Baba's AM Revolution discourse.
Rather the new point is that we should know that it is just a waste of
breath to try and steer these opportunists away from their dastardly act.
No fact can convince them otherwise. Such is the extreme depth of their
disease.
If someone is sleeping, i.e. naively making mistakes, they can be
awakened to the truth, but if one is deceitfully pretending to be asleep,
i.e.intentionally distorting Baba's books, then it is mostly impossible
to awakend such persons.
That is the extreme situation we face with certain WTs about the distortion
done to the AM Revolution discourse. Their disease is so severe we cannot
cure them.
IT IS JUST LIKE...
Telling such opportunists not to alter Baba's original teaching about
margii rights from the AM Revolution discourse is just like...
(a) Telling one Muslim mullah living in Mecca to give up the idea of
honouring Mecca as a pilgrimage site.
Or, it is like...
(b) Telling one Hindu priest in Varanasi that Varanasi is not a holy city
and that the Ganges is not a holy river.
Or it is just like...
(c) Trying to convince the Pope that Rome is not the gateway to heaven.
Doing all these things-- trying to convince such persons-- is utterly
useless. Same with trying to convince those opportunists about not changing
Baba's AM Revolution discourse. Because they are doing this for money
and for prestige. They do not care about the truth or the sanctity of
Baba's discourses.
No matter what we say, no matter how rational and logical our arguments,
such opportunists will continue to harbour and pursue their malefied plan
of ruining Baba's original discourse. This is their proven history.
Yet we cannot allow such heinous acts to occur because as disciples of
Shrii Shrii Anandamurtiji, we have the explicit responsibility of
preserving His each and every discourse. Including the ones that those
opportunists want to destroy.
WHAT IS TO BE DONE THEN
So if due to their extremely diseased outlook we are unable convince those
opportunists about the severity of their crime...
...Our duty then is to make those aware who are innocent, i.e. those who do
not know Baba's original teaching but have an earnest desire to learn. We
should bring such persons into the "know".
We should do our pracar work about the veracity and importance of Baba's
original discourse with such well-intentioned, common people-- not with
those opportunistic gents.
So we are to educate those who want to know the facts-- only by this way
can we save and preserve Baba's AM Revolution discourse. This is our
course.
It is NOT our duty to try & convince those underhanded opportunists. They
are never going to be convinced about the audacity of their dirty agenda.
This discussion has been going on for 18 years and we are not going to
be able to cure them. They are too sunken in their selfish agenda.
Such is the depth of their disease.
Only those sincere persons should be taught the proper way, then things will
be alright.
Our duty is to keep Baba's discourse in proper shape and print them "as is".
BABA'S BLESSING
By Baba's grace He has blessed us with a perfect body of scripture and
given us the special responsibility of keeping them in tact. This is His
very gracious blessing on us and we are bound to be successful.
Baba says, "The scriptures containing spiritual injunctions must be totally
flawless. And the pioneering personality must be a strict and benevolent
guardian with unyielding conviction." (NSS p.200, Edn 1995)

Note 1: WHO ARE THESE OPPORTUNISTS
Any individual-- be they margii or wt-- who subscribes to the belief that
Baba's original delivery of AM Revolution is flawed and therefore needs to
be changed, any such person is a flaming opportunist. In particular such
deceitful persons cling desperately to PK Dada's outlandish report that
Baba admitted that His original AM Revolution discourse is wrong and that
He corrected it by reissuing that discourse through some unofficial
magazines-- which themselves are no longer in existence. And based on this
spotty basis, Baba's historic AM Revolution discourse should be changed
permanently. Anyone who adopts such a concocted approach-- and there are
people out there like this-- then they are a tried and true opportunist.
And their malified intention is to distort Baba's original AM Revolution
discourse.
Note 2: ORIGINAL PARAGRAPH
Here is the original paragraph that they want to delete from Baba's
original discourse.
Baba says, "Ananda Marga does not discriminate between a family person and
a sannyasi (renunciate). The place given to a family person in our Marga is
greater than the place given to a sannyasi, based on the reason that the
former is not dependent on anyone for his or her maintenance, while the
sannyasi has to depend on others. A family person is like a strong tree
which is self-supporting, while the sannyasi is like the vine which twines
around the tree for its support. A family person therefore deserves more
respect than a sannyasi, according to the trend of thought in Ananda Marga.
This itself is a revolutionary idea. No philosopher or thinker, whether
eastern or western, had ever dared to declare a family person as deserving
more respect than a hermit or a sannyasi. It needed the courage of a
revolutionary to say so." (PNS-11, p.7)
Tragically thus far they have removed this above paragraph from the Hindi
and Bengali editions of Prout etc as well as from the English Electronic
Edition of Baba's books.
