It just so happens that in crucial moments, people often expose their
own hidden desires - even top Dadas.
When good sadhakas began to oppose the wrongs and injustices going on in
AMPS, then certain leading Dadas in AMPS retorted, "If you do not like
it, then go away and start your own organisation."
Of course those sadhakas would not leave as this AMPS was founded by
Baba and is the home of all margiis. So those revolutionary sadhakas had
no desire to leave AMPS. They just wanted to see AMPS be a medium of AM
ideology.
However, the response by those opportunistic Dadas - i.e. "If you do not
like it, then go away and start your own organisation" - did in fact
foreshadow what they themselves would eventually do.
Ironically, it is those very Dadas who have since left and created their
own organisation or expelled others thereby creating their own group by
kicking others out.
Such Dadas have grossly exposed how they have not come to build one
monolithic AMPS based on ideology, but rather they have come to grab the
power at any cost, even if that means expelling others or making a
separate organisational structure.
Let's take a closer look at the situation.
UNITED IN HIM
In the glory days of our Marga, when Baba Himself was directly running
all aspects of the organisation, then He made sure that everyone stayed
together. Those days, everyone was doing everything to please Him. Baba
held reporting on a monthly basis and everyone would return to Baba and
tell what was going on. Not only that, we all felt that Baba belonged to
us and that there was no question of leaving AMPS. Nor did we kick
anyone out.
Systematically, Baba opened our hearts and minds and lovingly showed us
how to accept everyone as our own kith and kin. He taught us Prabhat
Samgiita so as to melt the Bengali linguistic sentiment. Because when
all can understand Bengali, then the Bengalis will be less inclined to
huddle together on the basis of language sentiment. Plus Baba created
revolutionary marriages, posted workers outside their region of birth,
and He did so many things to help us realise that as an organisation and
as a humanity we are one.
He also frequently changed the postings of WTs so that no one thought of
anyone else as their permanent boss. One day one dada would be in charge
and the next day that same dada would be put under the supervision of a
junior worker.
By all these techniques, and most of all by His great love, Baba kept us
working and moving together. That is why in those days, AMPS was a real
force on this earth.
HOW THINGS CHANGED
After 1990 that all changed. Then certain opportunistic dadas began to
reveal their inner colour. They distorted Baba's books, pushed margiis
aside, ruined the Bhukti Pradhan system, curtailed margii rights, tore
down the ACB system, used expulsion as a weapon, invented Fake Ananda
Vaniis, victimised and tortured innocent margiis, and so much more.
In sum, certain opportunistic dadas did anything and everything to bring
themselves into unbridled control of AMPS. They wanted maximum power -
period.
BABA WAS AWARE - HE GAVE IDEOLOGY
Baba of course was aware that in the post 1990 era certain opportunistic
Dadas would try to grab all the power. He knew all the negative things
that they would do.
For this reason, Baba has given an entire body of teachings known as AM
ideology. By adhering to His teachings, then we would remain as one.
Still to this very day this is true. The moment we strictly follow AM
ideology, is the idea that we can all march together.
GOOD MARGIIS OPPOSE INJUSTICES
Thus, when those at the helm began indulging in all kinds of negative
things and crooked politics, naturally good margiis and wts came
forward. Those courageous sadhakas demanded that AM ideology be
followed. They began talking to other margiis and writing circulars
stressing the importance of adhering to Baba's teachings.
In short, those good margiis and field workers wanted to save AMPS by
bringing the organisation back onto the path of AM ideology.
But those top Dadas wanted no part of it. They had no feeling nor any
desire to follow AM ideology - all they wanted was more and more power.
Their actions are proof of this.
THE NOTORIOUS REPLY THEY GAVE
IS WHAT THEY ARE NOW DOING
When good margiis and field workers first protested the wrongs and
demanded that AM ideology be followed, then those opportunistic Dadas
replied, "If you do not like what is going on, then just go away! Do not
bother us! Go make your own organisation somewhere else!"
Such Dadas exposed their inner intentions and now today we see the
result of their crude desires. Such Dadas turned their back on Baba and
instead indulged in their own selfish interests.
The negative advice that they once gave to others they themselves are
now following.
After all was it not Sarvatmananda, Pranavatmakananda, Parmeshvarananda,
Rudrananda, Nigamananda and so many other so-called big Dadas who told
margiis to, "Shut up and follow us, or get out". They were the ones
giving this ultimatum to those margiis who protested the wrongs going on
in AMPS.
And now we see that such Dadas have followed their own advice. They do
not care one iota about Baba's great teachings on ideology and unity -
they only care about their own prestige, post, and power. To achieve
their selfish ends, then their first course of action is to either kick
others out or form their own organisation / parallel structure.
This is the way they operate. That is why today their are so many
divisions and groups in AMPS. These factional leaders are not arguing
over ideological tenets, they are only fighting over post and power. To
maintain their power the easiest way is to expel others; and to regain
power the easiest way is to leave and create a separate organisation.
This is their crude, distasteful and faulty recipe for staying on top.
That is why hardly a day goes by when one or another group forms
yet another faction or separate structure.
Hence those Dadas truly are following their own advice. They are doing
that very negative thing which they told others to do, "If you do not
like what is going on, then just go away! Go make your own organisation
somewhere else!"
And the result has been utterly disastrous.
THEY ARE GOING AGAINST BABA
We all know that Baba's teaching is to follow AM ideology and remain
united.
Baba says, "Fight for your Ideology. Be one with your Ideology. Live for
your Ideology. Die for your Ideology." (Ananda Vanii #14)
But selfish group leaders like Sarvatmananda, Citkrsnananda, Rudrananda
etc have long since tossed AM ideology aside.
Baba says, "The unity of A'nanda Ma'rgiis should not be allowed to be
jeopardised for any reason. Unity should be maintained even at the risk
of your life." (CC, part II, 'Society' chapter, point #13)
But selfish group leaders like Sarvatmananda, Citkrsnananda, Rudrananda
etc have long since ignored the idea of unity.
And of course these two points of ideology and unity are completely
interlinked.
Baba says, "Human unity is purely an ideological unity, which means
unity in the psychic sphere. Where there is psychic unity, physical
unity will also occur. In the realm of unity, unity is always psychic –
ideological unity means unity in the subtlest level of the mind." (Talks
on Prout)
Such big Dadas have utterly walked away from ista and adarsha. There is
no place in their mental plate for Baba and His teachings on ideology
and unity.
They have instead followed their own advice of discarding AM ideology
and creating a separate structure to gain more power.
That is why today we see an ever increasing number of splinter groups.
Either a faction outrightly leaves, or those hogging the power expel
them. By this way more and more factions are created - each with their
own singular desire of grabbing the power.
BABA'S BLESSING
By Baba's grace the day is not far when both ideology and unity will be
restored in our Marga. Let us always remember that there are so many
good people and so many great things going on in our AM society. The
mass of margiis and wts want to adhere to Baba's code and create a
monolithic organisation. So none should lose hope - good tidings are
coming soon.
The problem is limited to a few in saffron robes and by their crude
dealings we can see that their lives are not about sacrificing for the
Great but about grabbing more and more power. Today, they can no longer
hide their inner intentions. Their days are numbered.
Soon they will be gone forever - or forced to change - and the light of
AM ideology will be ablaze in our Marga.

Who is blessed one?
Baba says, "The man who is intelligent should, from his very childhood,
move along the path of proto-spirituality. The sooner a man starts and
moves along this path of psycho-spirituality, the better it is. He is
the blessed one." (AV-12, p.75)
Note: With the start of this happy new year we should once again reflect
how Baba has graced us by providing us all the tools and teachings for
moving along the path of spirituality. So again with renewed vigor we
should be more firm and more sincere in our adherence to Sixteen Points.
