Baba

"Jakhani bha'vi kichu cini bujhi, dekhi a'mi kichu ja'ni na'..." (PS 3225)

Purport:

When my little ego dominates then I think that I know and understand everything. It is only later that I realize that I do not know anything-- I know not. When I try to move on the path with my own strength, then it is difficult for me to decide what I want to do and what is my goal. From the origin of which unknown source am I floating and floating, from far to the farthest place, in the search of that unknown divine Entity. Day and night I am searching and wandering; why I wander around I do not understand.

O' karunamaya, what type of divine play do You do with me. What type of liila do You go on playing with this unit entity. How can this divine play between unit and cosmic continue without Your grace. Baba, You are everything, only by Your grace is anything possible...

"THIS MARGA IS MINE":

THIS SHOULD BE THE MENTALITY OF EVERY ANANDA MARGII

Namaskar,
It is no secret that our Marga is now going through trying and challenging times.

That is because even though Baba has given us a sublime and perfect ideology, our AMPS is made up of imperfect human beings. Naturally mistakes are going to happen and issues are going to arise.

When those problems do invariably occur, there are three basic responses we will see:

(A) Those who are third-grade people will think that AMPS is not a good place to stay and they will run away.

(B) Second grade people do not get concerned and justify that things should remain as is. Just hide the problem so that others do not find out about it, otherwise everyone will have a bad name.

(C) Those who are top-grade people will recognise the problem, alert others and work to collectively solve the matter.

Let's look at the matter this way:

If there are 5 people and one person gets seriously sick, then we may see an array of reactions. Those who have the least amount of sympathy will leave the scene entirely - not caring at all. Another may not be concerned and will think it is best not to tell others and by that way the problem will go away. Those who are true friends and family members will cry out loudly and bring that person to the hospital. They will not care who knows or does not know, with deep love their only thought is to cure their sick friend of the disease.

This same set of circumstances happens in AM as well.

Those who are third class people run away when they see a problem; second grade persons do not get very concerned - they just try to hide and ignore the problem so they can reap the rewards in the form of high posts etc. They are just in it  for their own prestige. In contrast, top grade people get very concerned because they see the organisation as related with their own existence. They will alert everybody and try to fix the problem.

STORY: BABY FOUND IN THE STREET

Now look in this way. My acarya told me this story and I found it quite helpful.

A husband and wife were walking down the street. They were young and they had not yet had children. As they were continuing their walk they found a baby in the street. They thought they should look after the baby. So they took it to the doctor and the doctor told them that the baby had a severe case of tuberculosis. They thought that having a baby with TB was inviting too much of a problem, and they left the baby at the hospital and continued on with their lives.

Then just one year later, that same married couple gave birth to their first child. When the child was just a week old the doctor told them that their child suffered from a severe case of autism and that he would never be normal. Even then, the parents felt that this "baby is mine" and they took the firm resolve to care for the baby even though the baby would require huge attention and lots of money.

Thus the same married couple got involved in similar situations but with vastly different outcomes. Since they felt that the baby in the street was not theirs, they did not want to know about or deal with the problems. In contrast, with their natural birth baby they were ready to undergo all kinds of struggle and strife.

Why? Because they felt, "this baby is mine."

HOW THIS RELATES WITH AMPS (PART 1)

The above story speaks well to the situation now in AMPS.

Those who do not feel that AMPS belongs to them are not willing to deal with or hear about the problems whereas those who feel a sense of belonging to AMPS are ready to address all kinds of issues in order to clean-up and repair the organisation.

WHEN PROBLEM IS OUR OWN THEN WE SOLVE IT

It is just like if one's own hand is dirty, then that person will not chop off their hand, they will clean it. The point being that when there is a problem that affects one's own life, then they solve the problem. Whereas if you think that problem is not related with you, then you separate yourself from the problem. That is the difference.

The same thing applies to the organisation. Those who are concerned members of AMPS will try and fix the problem because they think AMPS belongs to them. So they will point out the problems, alert others, and rally to solve the difficulties.

Whereas those who look at AMPS from arms-distance will just move further away when problems arise. They will go elsewhere.

WE PAY TO FIND OUT THE FAULTS

Those who are concerned about something always want to know the problem.

For instance, if you are going to purchase a house then you will contact all kinds of specialists and inspectors in order to find out what is wrong with the house. You are not paying them to tell you what is good about the house. You want to know where the weaknesses lie. You want all the problems uncovered because this is going to be your house.

The same occurs when you bring your motorcycle, moped, or car to the repair shop. You are incurring expense because you want them to figure out the problem and solve it. You are giving them money to find the defects. And if they do not find any problem, then you are not going to pay them. That is the way it works.

Similar is the case of going to the doctor. We go to get our ailments identified and cured. Not to be told that there is no problem. We want our body to be healed.

Here the point is that when anyone considers something to be theirs, then they want to know what all the problems are and get them fixed.

Thus what steps we take in our personal life we should also take in our organisational life. Just as a car or bike or house or human body is mine, this organisation is also mine. This should be our mentality.

WORKS THIS WAY WITH ALL SYSTEMS

This same formula of identifying the problem and repairing the wrong works in the natural world as well.

The human body has a spectacular immune system. Whenever the body suffers from any problem or disease, then immediately those anti-bodies start attacking that infection or germs. The antibodies do not concern themselves with the parts of the body that are healthy.

In contrast, if the immune system does not respond properly, then the body decays and eventually dies.

In cases of nature, the positive approach is to fix the problems - that is nature's special way. We see this with the various ecosystems, in biology and chemistry, and in so many strata. In all such cases, a red alert is signaled when a problem arises and then all sorts of natural forces come forward to solve the problem.

And if there is no signal then there is no problem.

WHAT SHOULD BE OUR OUTLOOK: Part 1

When we have come into AM and when we know that AM ideology is the panacea then we should have a proper outlook. We should not think that all margiis and avadhutas are divine and free from any defect. Rather we should think that Baba's philosophy is 100% rational and that humans are prone to making mistakes. And if we ignore those mistakes then the
problems will multiply.

We should follow nature's way and Baba's directive to find out the defect and correct the wrong.

Every organisation will have at least one bad apple and if that rotten apple is allowed to fester, then everything will become rotten. So our approach is to be vigilant and keep our organisation clean & totally free from any grime. Overlooking the problems will not do.

WHAT SHOULD BE OUR OUTLOOK: Part 2

To continue, the first needed ingredient is an emotional attachment to AMPS. We should think that: AM ideology is mine and this AMPS organisation is mine. All should feel like this.

Then we will be adamant to fix the problem and find the solution.

Those who run away are cowards and those who do not know AM ideology are blind. Such persons can never solve any problem

All true Ananda Margiis will cultivate a sense of rationality. We know that all religions are dogmatic and that only AM is dharma.

Baba says, "Ananda Marga alone is dharma and all the rest are sectisms." (SS-1, p. 63)

Thus when we know only Baba's AM is a perfect philosophy then we must take the duty to fix the organisation and find others to do the same. In that way we will be able to solve one problem after another and make AMPS shine.

Furthermore, if ever we come across a new margii who became inactive after finding out some dirt in AMPS, then your duty is to try to convince them with the following logic:

They belong to the organisation and it is their duty to help fix it because AM ideology is unparalleled. It is their duty to help; indeed they are needed to help. There is no other way. Because no other organisation in the universes is built on the pillars of neo-humanism and bhagavad dharma. We should convince them in this manner.

As we all know, so many new persons get attracted to AM ideology and find it to be logical and rational, but they hear about the problems and feel suffocation with AMPS and consider leaving. We should convince them to stay with the aforesaid logic.

Finally, the best thing is to think that AM is mine; but only those who have extreme love can say and feel like this. If one mother has 4 children, they will all refer to her as my mother; they never say our mother. Because each child has a high degree of love for their mother. Each and every margii can and should think that this AMPS is mine.

If not, then at least think that it is ours. But those with more love will think AMPS is mine. We should all harbor this feeling.

ON-GOING ISSUE

We must remember that in this relative world there will always be problems. In this dance of creation, avidya maya keeps spinning her web. This is an ongoing matter.

Since AM started there were problems. So many people inside and outside of AMPS created problems for us. And always Baba was there to show us how to solve such problems. Solving problems is essential and always Baba did like this. That is the way of tantra and that is why He is a Tantric Guru.

For this reason He would both lovingly punish and praise; and for this reason He gave dharma samiiksa. His each and every action was aimed at identifying the problems and giving the solution. Because that is what Taraka Brahma does. He comes when society is at its worst and then builds it up in the best way.

So we should follow in Baba's footsteps by solving the problems.

Plus, when we hear about problems in AMPS from someone else, we should always remember the advice of the great saint Kabir. He advised:

"Keep those close to you who are going to point you out, by this way you will be corrected and cleaned."

The sense is we should always embrace those who are pointing out the problems in AMPS, because that is the only way to create a proper organisation to establish dharma.

BABA'S BLESSING

By Baba's grace we must take a positive approach in life. Just seeking out good news is not the way. We should find out the problems, especially in AMPS. Because whereas we can get another automobile if it breaks down, we cannot find another organisation founded by Taraka Brahma. AMPS is the only one. We should be vigilant to keep it in proper shape by thinking that this AMPS is mine. Then we will find out the problems, alert others, and jointly solve those issues with other good
people.

Those who are weak-minded cannot fathom such an approach.

But by His grace every Ananda Margii has the temperament of a true sadhaka of tantra and is ready to face all kinds of obstacles in order to make life and AMPS brilliant. That is our way. We think: AM ideology is mine and AMPS is mine.

Baba says, "Struggle is the essence of life. Yours should be a pauseless struggle against corruption, hypocrisy and animality." (Ananda Vanii #11)

AM's Positive & Pointed Approach

Baba

"Toma'r bha'laba'sa' bu'jhe nijeke khunje peyechi..." (P.S. 4504)

Purport:

Baba, only with Your divine love I could search for & find my true self.
Earlier I was confused about who I am and I was always feeling sad and
pessimistic about my future. But now by Your grace in my heart I feel Your
love-- I feel that I am under Your shelter at Your lotus feet. Baba, now,
by Your grace, I understand  where I am; my life has become meaningful.
Baba, You are the polestar of my life. By Your arrival, my whole existence
is only moving towards You. It is so blissful.
Baba when I get fatigued & tired by involving in the work, & when negative
thoughts ruin my peace and tranquility, & when the clouds of hopelessness
come-- then I take shelter in Your divine love.
Baba, my mental sky, my air, my breath, my entire existence, my
everything is  dancing according to Your melody. My hopes get fulfilled by
Your samvit (force of awakening). From the divine land, one unknown angel
is beckoning me. O' my dearmost Parama Purusa, You are that very apsera'
(angel). By Your grace I have realised this truth in my meditation.
Baba, by Your grace, I am completely ensconced in Your love and now I
understand that I am completely sheltered in Your lap...

           == AM'S POSITIVE AND POINTED APPROACH ==

Namaskar,
All around the globe, every margii & worker understands that everything
Baba does is out supreme welfare motive. With His immense and boundless
love for humanity, He has graciously shown us the pathway for making a
clean, well-knit society.

Even then one or two simple persons get confused from time to time by
watching Baba's style. Because in their dizzy way they wonder why on the
one side Baba has given various teachings like 'No Mudslinging' or 'Don't
criticize' etc, yet then in His own conduct Baba Himself strongly abuses
Wts in reporting sessions and harshly condemns the dogmatic religions etc
in His discourses. Seeing this apparent contradiction in their little
minds, a couple simple bystanders remain sunk in confusion about all this.
When actually the matter is perfectly straight like an arrow.

                     BABA'S POSITIVE APPROACH

Because we know Baba has deep love for all and He wants everyone to move
ahead in a positive way. His deep desire is that we should all clearly
understand what is right as well as what wrong. So we can reach our Goal.
In that way, with 100% benevolent intention, Baba has given so many
guidelines and enforced them as well. Because by this way we can all learn
from our mistakes and grow into strong sadhakas and assets of the society.

                   JUST LIKE FAMILY MEMBERS DO

It is similar to how real friends, parents, and guardian guide others.
Because they do not like to see their loved ones in problem--
committing the same error again and again. So with good feeling and
compassion those family members guide their near and dear ones about how to
correct and better themselves. This is the way it works when people feel
close and intimate with one another.

                      ANOTHER CASE IN POINT

Or the situation is similar to when anyone goes to a pathology centre. In
that case those working at that pathological medical centre will put forth
a sincere effort and try hard to identify and cure the problem. Because
their desire is to help diagnose any and all diseases. And with that pure
intention, they help their patients to regain their health, feel good
again, and function at 100% capacity.

                         BABA'S SUPREME BENEVOLENCE

               GIVING SOLUTION IS NOT MUDSLINGING

Likewise-- as all of us recognise-- Baba is the perfect personification of
love and compassion. Thus when He points out the problems or defects with
any worker etc, that is done on the basis of His benevolent intention. And
side by side He supplies that person with the best solution. And by this
positive approach that person will get purified and become more and more
like the Goal-- Parama Purus'a.

So Baba's entire style is not at all like mudslinging because in
mudslinging one wants to maliciously make the next person look bad. In that
case the intention is totally negative.

While in Baba's divine example, the situation is the exact opposite. His
motive is perfectly benevolent and He is pointing out problem-- not the
worker. And in that situation by following Baba's instruction, then
immediately that worker becomes blessed as he will eliminate the problem
from his life & everything will be beautiful. The result being that the
standard of that worker will be higher; and he will be more successful in
his mission. All because of Baba's benevolent and pro-active approach.

                       RECIPE FOR MAKING PEOPLE GREAT

So side by side, pointing out the problem and giving the solution is Baba's
special and unique method for improving one and all and helping everyone to
become great-- and free from defects.

By His example and practical teaching, we can clearly understand that He
wants and expects that His disciples should proceed in the same fashion.
That is, with a warm heart we should always help others to improve by
overcoming their problems. As this is one necessary ingredient for leading
a harmonious life & achieving the Goal.

HIS GUIDELINE TO ALL ANANDA MARGIIS

That is why on numerous occasion Baba guides us to strictly watch over
everyone's growth and development, and not allow anyone to get stuck in any
bad habits or poor behaviours. Rather Baba wants that we should help one
and all to become top-grade dharmikas.

Baba says, "Hence all A'nanda Ma'rgiis, when they see other Margiis actions
against the principles of Yama and Niyama, must make them shun this habit
either by sweet or harsh words, or by dealing even more strictly." (GHC, p.24)

Baba says, "I gave a direction to all that they should keep watch on one
another. No one will exempt anyone else regarding the Sixteen Points."
(AV-23 p.149)

Baba says, "Henceforth I direct every Ananda Margii to keep strict
vigilance on other Ananda Margiis to make them practise the principles of
Yama and Niyama." (GHC, p.25)

So by following Baba's divine instructions by pointing out the defects &
keeping an open heart for one and all, we can help one another to become
better & better-- until we finally become one with Parama Purusa.

                           BABA'S BLESSING

Baba says, "A perfect state of balance will be established between
individuals and the collectivity, and between the collectivity and the
cosmos...That will be the stage of all-round welfare, progress, and
perfection for the entire humanity, for the entire living world." (AFPS-8,
p.36)

Namaskar,
Mantreshvar

Note 1:                  PLEASE ALSO SAY

This topic has great significance in building up a brilliant Marga society
so any and all brothers and sisters should kindly come forward and also
share their thoughts and views on this important matter. This is my humble
request.

        *************************************************
                            Good Sadhaka

Baba says, "The mind of the man whose consciousness or discriminating
judgement is awakened-- whose power of judgment is intense, always remains
wedded to the 'Buddhi'. That is to say, his rein (mind) remains constantly
under the control of the charioteer (Buddhi or discriminating intellect),
and so, quite naturally, his organs remain loyal to the Buddhi. Random
rambles of the organ-like horses (organs) will cut no ice with him. But in
a case like this if the horses (organs) be bad and untrained, i.e. the
organs are faulty, it becomes impossible for the charioteer (discriminating
intellect) to get the desired result. Hence for the right functioning of
the chariot (body), well-trained horses (organs) are indispensable. A
sadhaka (spiritual aspirant) also should train himself likewise. His mind,
body, intellect, and organs should be directed towards the Blissful Spirit
(Shreya)." (SS-4, p.9)

For Optimal Health-- III

Date: Thu 04 Feb 2011 11:55:42 -0000
To: am-global@earthlink.net
From: "Mishra"
Subject: For Optimal Health-- III

Baba

== FOR OPTIMAL HEALTH-- III ==

Namaskar,
As we all know fasting is special practice whereby one's entire system gets
cleansed and purified. Because by allowing the organs to rest and collect
the toxins, the body gets the opportunity to rejuvenate itself. And of
course, breaking the fast properly with a thorough cleansing process is an
indispensable feature of fasting-- otherwise much of the benefits are lost.

So by doing the whole fasting and breaking in a sincere and complete manner
then an innumerable amount of "health and wealth" is aroused in the human
structure such that the body and mind glisten with purity and lightness.

                BABA WATCHES FOR OUR WELFARE

That is why we all know that Baba Himself is very strict with all margiis
and acaryas on the point of fasting. He wants that we should derive all the
many benefits from this great practice. Indeed, in multiple ways He reminds us
that always He is watching. This following teaching is leading in that
exact manner.

Baba says, "Suppose, a gentleman is undergoing fasting, and secretly in a
closed room, he takes chocolate. 'No one will know, nobody will know.' But
it is not so. His unit cognition will know that he has taken chocolate. And
similarly, the Cosmic Father will know that in a particular room one unit
body took chocolate very secretly, and that unit body is still thinking,
that the fact that he took chocolate on a fast-day is not known to anybody.
It is known to everybody. Nothing is a secret." (AV-12)

Hence Baba is acutely aware of exactly what happens-- as well as what does
not happen-- on our each and every fasting day. And He wants that we
sincerely follow His guideline as this is for our welfare.

                       BABA POINTS OUT

That is why in dharma samiiksa and in all types of reporting sessions, Baba
used to point out sadhakas on the point of fasting in front of one and all.
And if one person got pointed out it was understood that if others are also
falling into this same category then they should also rectify themselves.
That was the spirit. It was not just that Baba was speaking to only one
individual on such occasions.

Some people would wonder why Baba was pointing out margiis or Wts in front
of the collective, as opposed to informing them individually. And surely
the reason for this is that Baba did not have the time to speak to each and
every individual on each and every particular point. So by highlighting a
particular sadhaka's mistake in public, then if 4 or 5 others were doing
the same wrongdoing then naturally they would get also alarmed. And the
feeling would come that they too should rectify themselves. As they
understood that Baba is very concerned and strict on this point.

Plus, another reason is that naming the defects on the public platform was
a good way of reminding one and all. Because day after day or every few
days if He was pointing out a different  margii or Wt on the point of
fasting, then it automatically became a reminder to all those present that
this was something important. So if anyone was attending the reporting for
an entire week or two week period, then numerous reminders they would get.

And invariably they would spread that idea to others who did not attend.

Here we should keep in ming that as Guru Baba was pointing out the defects
of disciples from the very beginning, not just in later years. From the Jamalpur
era up to the grand DMCs in the late 80's, Babe would point out, beat, and His
shower love. This was all done for our welfare. By this way we could grow and move on towards Suprem fulfillment. Baba is the dharma Guru and His special quality is to both love and punish.

Baba says, "The preceptor must also be nigraha (capable of inflicting punishment) and anugraha (capable of bestowing grace). One who punishes only or who bestows grace only is not an ideal preceptor." (ANIWL-9)

                    WHY POINT OUT IN PUBLIC

Hence overall there were at minimum two distinct reasons for pointing
people out in front of the collective: lack of time to speak to everyone on
an individual basis and by this way it was a good reminder to one and all.
Thus within a short period Baba could rectify and instill proper practices
within countless sadhakas within the entire Marga. Overall we can say it
was His special technique and blessing.

And surely every Margii and Wt will readily admit that Baba is very strict
on the point of fasting. And He wants that we should all be sincere on this
very point. As He tells us again and again in various ways that indeed He
is always watching our each and every action to ensure our welfare.

I hope others will also come forward and share their experiences on this
very topic.

                            BABA'S BLESSING

Here following is Baba's Blessing:

Baba says, "You boys and you girls do you realise why you were born? You
were born to do something to please Parama Purusa. Always move towards
Parama Purusa through your actions, through your thoughts, through your
contemplation, and your goal will be attained, your purpose in coming to
this world will be fulfilled." (SS-18)

Namaskar,
Satyanarayan Deva

                       OUR SANSKRIT NAMES

Baba says, "At the time of initiation or shortly afterwards, those who do not
have a Sanskrit name should be given one by the ácárya/á. The word deva should
be suffixed to the name...the more the usage of deva as a title, the better it
is. The Sanskrit name should be used in all worldly dealings." (Caryacarya-1)

BREAKING THE FAST ITSELF-- A "HOW TO" PROCESS

1. First mix 1/4 piece of lemon or lime with some salt in a dry container--
preferably a plastic or ceramic container, but not metal.

2. Then add 1/2 litre to 1 litre of warm water and stir.

3. The lemon salt water mixture should be distinctly salty to taste-- but
not overly salty.

4. If your mixture is not sufficiently salty then little by little more can
be added. And if really it is already too salty then simply dilute your
mixture by adding more warm water.

5. Then one should begin to drink this lemon salt water. Not in one gulp
per se, but in a series of comfortable sips and swallows over the course of
a few minutes, without bloating the stomach. But one should not take too
much time either.

6. After finishing that initial round of salty lemon water then one can
walk nearby for a minute or two-- either in the fresh air or indoors.

7. Plus you can gently stretch the upper body by raising the arms on the
inhale and then exhaling and gently bending to the side. And repeat by
bending to the opposite direction. This gently helps to hasten the
cleansing process.

8. Then as soon as one feels ready to again drink, then the next round of
lemon salt water should be taken. Note: It is important not to wait too
long in between rounds. As soon as the stomach feels comfortable one should
again drink.

9. And like this multiple rounds should be done of drinking lemon salt
water and then walking slowly. This process should be repeated until one
feels the need to go to the toilet. And overall upwards of 2-3 litres of
lemon salt water can be ingested in this way. (Note: But under no
circumstances should solid food be taken yet. Rather this will wreak havoc
on the system as fresh food will be sitting on top of waste material. So no
food should be taken at all until the entire system gets clear.)

10. By this process of drinking round after around, a strong urge will come
to go to the toilet-- within 1/2 hour to one hour, depending. And initially
when in the toilet a very strong smelling brown waste matter will be
released. And thereafter progressively more and more liquids will be
released via the rectum. This will also be brown at the beginning. But one
should not worry that they have been stricken with a severe case of
diarrhea. It is not like that. Rather this is the initial stage of cleaning
out the digestive track.

11. Once one has begun the process of defecating & clearing the stomach and
bowels. Then you can switch over from drinking a salty mixture and instead
begin taking pure fresh water without any salt. This fresh water will help
hydrate the body and will also aid in the cleansing process.

12. In this process of cleaning one might have to visit the toilet anywhere
between 3-5 times, or more. And one important thing to remember is that
never should the urge be suppressed and "held in". Rather as soon as the
impulse comes one should go straight to the toilet.

The waste material will go from brown and somewhat solid to being yellowish and
liquidy until finally being a completely clear liquid. And once completely clear
liquid comes then in this case one can feel assured that indeed the entire digestive
track has become clean-- including the intestines, colon, and stomach. Everything has
become perfectly clean.

14. And by this entire process of cleansing a very light and healthy
feeling will consume the body. And one will fell very happy, fresh, and
energetic.

15. Within ten to fifteen minutes a slight feeling of hunger will come. And
at that point one can eat 2-3 ripe bananas, depending on the size. But the
bananas should be soft and ripe-- not green and hard.

16. And then after taking a few bananas-- and do be careful not to overeat
and fill the stomach completely-- then after waiting 25 minutes it is
important to again drink some fresh water. This will help in digesting the
banana.

17. And thereafter when stronger hunger comes one should take some easily
digestible food-- like well-hydrated rice and vegetables, or whatever is
conveniently available in your area or locale. But neither strong food like
citrus fruit nor heavily spiced or oily food should be taken. These should
be avoided and instead more simple food should be eaten.

18. And throughout the day care should be taken to continue to drink fresh
water in small amounts, but not at the same time as eating. This will help
ensure the solid food gets digested properly and it will also keep the body
hydrated.

Attention: One should also keep in mind that breaking fast is a highly
individualized thing. Everyone should be gentle and listen to their own
body when undergoing this entire process.

                                  PRABHAT SAMGIITA

"Tumi a'ma'y hrdaya ma'jhe eso go priyo madhurata' ma'khi..."    (P.S. 747)

Purport:

Baba, please come in my heart and saturate my entire being with the
showering of Your sweetness, O' my dear most.
Baba please remove my all impurities and negative samskaras-- and
whatever other things I have that got accumulated over the ages. Please
inundate my entire existence with the showering of Your love and divine
grace.   Baba, this entire universe, these seven lokas, nothing is beyond Your
reach. Everything is within You. And because everything resides in You,
that is why You know all my merits and demerits-- whatever I have. By Your
Grace today I am surrendering whatever that is mine unto You. With the only
desire that You please look towards me with Your compassionate eye, eyes
full of karuna'. This wee-bit of grace I long from You.
Baba, since ages, since many lives, I have been crossing through the
negative path, path of dogma. But today by Your grace, this is the first
time in my entire life when You awakened my samvit and now I understood my
mistakes. And I rectified them by Your grace.
Baba, all my actions, my entire being, my whole heart, everything I
offer at Your lotus feet. I do not want to keep anything as my own from
henceforth onward. With this pointed mind I am doing sastaunga pranam to
You. Please accept it...

                        ROOT LANGUAGES

Baba says, "When a swift horse runs its hooves make a turtur sound. That
which makes a turtur sound as it moves is called turaga or turaunga or
turaungama (that is, "horse"). That animal which makes a kurkur sound as it
runs is called kuraga or kuraunga or kuraungama (that is, "deer"). In this
way human beings have created many word forms and verb forms to express
their mental ideas. This process of word formation is called "acoustic
derivation" and the original verbal roots in all the world's languages were
created in this way."
"The first word forms in all the world's languages were the original
verbal roots. By adding prefixes and suffixes many different words were
derived. Among the established languages of the world, mainly four can be
considered as the root languages. They are Vedic, Latin, Hebrew and old
Chinese. If one examines the derivation of the vocabulary of these
languages one will find that their method or process is identical. (Varn'a
Vijina'na, Disc 19, p. 270)
