After reading the recent letter on the first PP Dada Shraddhanandji (link below), it is very clear that he was simple. But he was also something more than that. This PP Dada was lacking a basic, comprehensive understanding of Baba's teachings.

How do we know this? How can we say this definitively.

Well, PP Shraddhanandji had an irresistible desire to preach and write books, whether he knew the subject or not. And what he thought he did. He wrote and published many books including his own autobiography, "My Spiritual Life with Baba" (June, 1991). Shraddhanandji wrote many other books as well - all of which are filled with countless critical errors and major, fundamental mistakes. Those books are full of misinterpretations and wrong understandings that only misguide the reader.

My initial thought is to call all his books "garbage", but that is not a word I wish to use in this email, so I will just say that PP Dada's books are completely off the mark.

WHEN BABA STARTED GIVING PRABHAT SAMGIITA

Now let's take a look at one crucial point that demonstrates well PP Shraddhanandaji's level of understanding.

Those days, when Prabhat Samgiita was first given, then everyone was singing those early songs, including "Sakal maner viina' (PS #4). Those compositions became part of everyone's heart, and the meaning was imprinted in everyone's mind. Baba Himself was explaining the meaning of all those early songs. On many such occasions, Dada Shraddhananda was even sitting in the front row. So Shraddhanandji had easy access to Baba's purports and explanations of those songs.

Most importantly, there was great interest in Prabhat Samgiita: All margiis and workers were keen to learn and listen to this new devotional gift bestowed by Baba.

For all these reasons, everyone in Ananda Marga gained a very clear understanding of the meaning of those initial songs. Then we also have to bear in mind that Prabhat Samgiita is just the natural expression of devotion. So bhaktas can easily feel what the song means. Because those songs are the expression of their own heart.

So it is not only unfortunate, but astonishing, that PP Dada could misinterpret things the way he did.

HERE IS THAT PRABHAT SAMGIITA #4

As a brief refresher, here is one early Prabhat Samgiita that PP Dada completely misunderstood. First, let's just review the actual meaning.

   Prabhat Samgiita No. 4

   "Sakal maner viina' ek sure ba'je a'j...
   Eso tumi a'ro ka'che, A'ro kache, a'ro kache
   Niye ja'o ja'ha' kichu sab"

In this song, the devotee is addressing Baba, and requesting Him to please come close, more close and take my mind. "O' my Dearmost, I am offering my mind to You, please grace me by accepting this."

Here is further explanation. As sadhakas, we know that mind is the cause of bondage and liberation. If the mind is coloured with mundane longing, then that is bondage. When it is purified in the thought of Parama Purusa and becomes colourless, then it is liberated. That's why we do dhyana. And in the last stage of dhyana and guru puja, the devotee is offering their mind with deep love at the feet of Baba. So devotee is requesting that "O' Dearmost Baba, please come and take all the colours of my mind, all the bondages of my mind, and make me colourless."

"“By surrendering all the colours of my mind to You, I want to become colourless.” This surrender to the Supreme Consciousness propels human beings towards Him." (The Liberation of Intellect - Neo-Humanism, Inner Asset)

This is the central idea of Prabhat Samgiita #4.

These following guidelines also reflect the inherent theme and spirit of this song wherein the devotee offers their mind unto Parama Purusa

“Tava dravyaḿ Jagatguro Tubhyameva samarpaye.”

“Everything of mine, along with my mind, is offered at Your altar. Please oblige and accept it.” (Ananda Vacanamrtam - 3, Prańáma Mantra)

Nivedayámi cátmánaḿ tvaḿ gatih Parameshvara

“Oh Lord, what can I offer unto You? I can only offer my existential ‘I’ feeling. Please take it.” (Subhasita Samgraha-12, The Secret of Dharma Lies Hidden in the Mind)

So the entire meaning of this song is that the devotee is offering everything to Parama Purusa, to Baba. That is why this song has been named: "Song of Sweetness". Without deep love towards Baba, the feeling of full surrender will not arise in the mind. That stage of deep love is full of sweetness. For this reason, this song has its own title "Song of Sweetness".

The key point is this. In this song the devotee is yearning for Parama Purusa: Please come and take the offerings of my mind, and make me Your own. The bhakta is feeling a strong urge to reach his desired Goal: Becoming one with Parama Purusa by surrendering unto Him. It is quite evident that the devotee is addressing Parama Purusa in this song; the bhakta is singing to the Lord. Params Purusa is not singing the song to the devotee.

So the inner essence of this Prabhat Samgiita is how the devotee is offering their everything at Baba's lotus feet.

Sadly, PP Dada Shraddhanandji took this song in a different manner - far away from Baba's intended meaning.

PP DADA'S WRONG INTERPRETATION OF THAT SONG

On page 16 of his autobiography, "My Spiritual Life with Baba", Shraddhanandji gives a completely backwards and opposite explanation of this song.

Shraddhanandaji wrongly tells that in this song Baba is expressing His desire to give everything to the devotee: Money, wealth, property, siddhis, prestige, post etc. So PP Dada explained the song as if Parama Purusa is singing to the bhakta - which is 100% wrong.

The correct meaning of Prabhat Samgiita #4 is that devotee is making the request, "O' Dearmost Baba, please come and take all the colors of my mind, all the bondages of my mind, and make me colourless."

Here again is the real spirit of this Prabhat Samgiita.

So PP Dada actually invented his own flip-flop purport for the song, "Sakal maner viina'...". Shraddhanandji writes as if Baba is singing and requesting the devotee to come more close and more close and take everything (money, name, fame etc) that He (Baba) has. This is the flip-flop way in which PP Dada is explaining the song.

That indeed is a most unfortunate circumstance. Why unfortunate? Because PP Shraddhananda was a longtime and senior Dada and it is tragic he could not gain a clearer understanding of Baba's teachings and Ananda Marga devotional life.

When PP Dada was not aware about the inner meaning and purport of Prabhat Samgiita #4, then he should not have written about it publicly in his book. The point being that when the writer himself is not aware about a topic then he should not attempt to write about it in his book.

NOTES TO PRABHAT SAMGIITA #622:

[1] Ma'ya'dhiish: In the above song Baba simultaneously both far beyond ma'ya' (ma'ya'tiita) as well as totally involved in controlling ma'ya'-- in
which case He is Ma'ya'dhiish. Here below Baba is making a contrast between jiivas who are ruled by ma'ya' and Parama Purusa who lords over wa'ya'.
Baba says, "Jiiva'tman is under the influence of Prakrti, it is Ma'ya'dhiina or controlled by Ma'ya', whereas Parama'tman, in whatever form He may manifest Himself is Ma'ya'dhiisha or Controller of Ma'ya'." (Subhasita Samgraha - 1)


[2] Kalus'ha'rii: This is one of the names of Parama Purusa that reflects one of His infinite qualities. In this role  as Kalusha'rii, He removes the darkness from the mind of the jiivas. That is why in 2nd stanza of our Guru Purja mantra it is said that He removes the stains of mind and bundle of samskaras. By His grace He removes all the cimmerian darkness.

                Ajina'natimira'ndhasya jina'na'injana shala'kaya'.

Baba says, "You know that an eye ointment is applied with a stick ("Shala´ka´" means stick). Now, all the microcosms are parts of that Noumenal Entity, all are actually parts and particles of that Supreme Entity, but due to ignorance, due to the darkness of ignorance, they cannot see what is what and which is which. That is why they require the ointment of spiritual knowledge. Guru (with a stick) applies the ointment of spiritual knowledge to their eyes." (Ananda Vacanamrtam - 3)


[3] Ma'nasrainjan: Baba has told us countless times and we all know that devotion is that unique ingredient which allows one to advance in the spiritual field. Without innate love for Parama Purusa one can never succeed. By Baba's divine grace, in His role as Ma'nasrainjan, He is that Divine Entity who colours and saturates the mind of sadhakas in the fountain of devotion.

Baba says, "'rainjana', which means 'the One who colours' - that which colours the mind." (Ananda Vacanamrtam - 1)

So He is that Cosmic Being who graciously showers devotional love into the heart and mind of the bhakta. And by such overwhelming Cosmic grace, the devotee becomes immersed in Supreme bliss and comes in the closest proximity with that Love Personified Entity: Parama Purusa.


[4] Deva'ri: (Deva literally means 'god'; ari literally means 'enemy'). So those anti-social beings who are enemies of the gods are known as demons.
That is the why the colloquial meaning of the term deva'ri is 'demons'.

Purodha Pramukha Just Mortal Human - Not Guru

After the DMS held on 6th & 7th October in Ahmedabad, on 8th October Purodha Pramukha reached Himmatnagar to visit an Ananda Marga school. Upon his arrival, various lady ma’rgiis were doing a'rati (ceremonial reception) per the Hindu system with diipam and flowers in front of PP dada Vishvadevananda. And PP dada was standing there with folded hands accepting the a'rati in his honour, as if he is the guru. So PP dada was honoured as dogmatic religious institutions do for welcoming a sadhu maharaj or guru. So Purodha Pramukha was essentially being treated as the guru, and PP Dada accepted it.

As you will read down below, this is all part of Rudranandji's grand plan to lay claim to more and more power. If the margiis revere PP Dada as a guru by receiving him with a'rati, then certainly margiis will abide by each and every order given. That is the motivating factor.

And verily this is coming into form. As just last month (October 2012), Purodha Pramukha was received with a'rati by margii didis in Himmatnagar. Some of the many present who witnessed this were: Dr. Chunibhai Patel (BP of Himmatnagar), Dwarakajii (BP of Ahmedabad), Manojkumar (Himmatnagar), Suresh Lagate (originally Marathi, but settled in Ahmedabad), and many Wt Dadas and Didis.

This is the new dogma taking shape: In various places where Purodha Pramukha Vishvadevananda visits, new and naive margiis are encouraged to do a'rati to PP dada. And Purodha Pramukha dada acts as if he is worthy, or as if this is the Ananda Marga system. But we know, a'rati is only done for guru or God. No one else. Yet now we see that PP dada is accepting a'rati.

This dogma got started because new people saw PP dada sitting on the dais, not singing bhajans but rather accepting them as his own glories. So in this next phase they started doing a'rati. That is how this dogma of PP being the guru has expanded.

Until we oppose this, it will continue - and grow. Such is the danger.

HINDU SYSTEM OF TRANSFERRING GURU-SHIP

Some of the dogmas of Hinduism have been dragged and dumped into Ananda Marga. As we know, the general Hindu tradition is that when a guru dies then a new guru takes the place of the old guru and he becomes the leader of the sect. That means, as a guru he will initiate new people and all followers will be his disciples. They will treat him as the guru. And the new guru will get the same importance as the previous guru who died. The new guru will have full control and undisputed authority.

IN ANANDA MARGA, NO ONE ELSE BECOMES THE GURU

But our Ananda Marga is not based on Hindu dogma - our system is different.

3-9 Brahmaeva gururekah náparah
Cosmic Consciousness is the Guru - none else.

Thus, whether Lord Shrii Shrii Anandamurtiji remains in physical form or not - He is the Guru. He is guiding all the time, every moment. Baba is Sadguru: He remains with every disciple, all the time, and guides them. No disciple is left alone. That is the quality of characteristic of Sadguru.

That is why still today, when an acarya initiates anyone, that acarya is not the guru of that new initiate. The Guru is Shrii Shrii Anandamurtiji. That is the unique, tantric system. It is unlike Hindu dogma.

RUDRANANDJI'S STRATEGY +

PP DADA'S MISGUIDED WAYS CONFUSED SOME MARGIIS

Now, unfortunately, a strange metamorphosis is taking place. PP Vishvadevananda is being revered as a guru. How did this happen?

First of all, this has been Rudrananda's long-standing strategy: Make PP dada revered as a god and gain more authoritative power for himself. To this end, Rudranandji has worked hard to implement the ceremonial reception with a'rati for PP dada at regional DMS functions. He wants margiis to become habituated to this. In each and every unit and bhukti, margiis should have it set-up ahead of time to receive Purodha Pramukha with a'rati. So it is Dada Rudrananda who has initiated this dogma. Some say PP dada willingly accepted it because it gave him ego satisfaction; others say PP Dada felt pressured to acquiesce to Dada Rudrananda's demand. Whatever may be, the dogma of receiving PP dada with a'rati is currently in vogue.

A secondary cause is this: As PP Vishvadevananda does not raise the "Jai" slogan for Baba at DMS, some newly initiated margiis think that he is the new guru, as in the Hindu system. They think that just as the current head of any Hindu ashram is the guru, then in the same way PP Dada is also the guru of Ananda Marga. By seeing the way Purodha Pramukha behaves on the dais, new people think that PP dada is the guru. That also contributes to the confusion.

PURODHA PRAMUKHA HIMSELF BOUND BY AVIDYA MAYA

Why does PP dada not oppose this?

Well, as stated above, he is basically following Dada Rudrananda's mandate. Plus we have to remember that PP dada is an ordinary human being bound by avidya maya, and the astapashas (8 bondages) and sadripus (6 enemies). PP dada likes having prestige. So he is ok with being revered as the guru even though he knows it is sinful to do this drama. Because when someone treats him as the guru, then his ego is satisfied.

Why then are Rudrananda and others injecting this? Because, as stated above, it is their plan; this is exactly what they want. They get their power from PP dada. It is a direct relationship. The more PP dada is revered the more Rudrananda & Co are revered. And if PP dada is not held in high regard, then the level of their own respect will also be lower.

It is just like how religious priests plot their course. They give all orders in the name of God. They tell: "This is not me saying this - I am not speaking - this is God's command - and if you do not follow, then you will face the consequences." Such priests use the power of God to get their followers to abide by their orders.

Similarly, Rudranandji says that, "Baba has told how PP Dada should be treated - by following Baba's edict we can please Him - Baba was PP and now He has bestowed that power unto PP Dada - so we should all pay heed and follow Baba by giving maximum regard to PP Dada." This is Rudranandji's method. And his underlying motivation is that if this a'rati dogma is implemented and PP is honoured up to the sky, then all other orders he gives will also be followed. That is Rudranandji's chief aim.

By invoking the name of God, those priests garner more power and respect from their followers. It is a direct relationship. Same is the case with PP dada and those group leaders. By citing Baba and putting PP dada up on a pedestal, the ruling group leaders gain more power over the margins.

We should also keep this fact in mind: As many may know, PP dada Vishvadevananda is basically a stooge. So in true sense all power gets routed to Rudrananda etc.

AGAINST THE SANCTITY OF GURU-DISCIPLE RELATION:

THIS MUST NOT BE TOLERATED

This type of dogma is antithetical to the Guru-disciple relation. Spirituality will be just a dream if one is always busy in highlighting oneself and boosting one's ego. In that case the mind will be barren like the dry desert. When PP dada is following in the footsteps of those dogmatic Hindu gurus and feels satiated by the prestige, then that is disgraceful. It is opening the door of his spiritual demise. By his own behaviour he is misleading countless people by encouraging them to believe that he is their guru, and Shrii Shrii Anandamurtiji is their Guru's guru.

If we ignore all this and keep quiet then our children and grandchildren will not understand what the real Ananda Marga is. They will see all the dogma going on in AMPS and mistake that as being the real dharma of Ananda Marga. They will not know that it is all dogma. We should never let such a scene come to pass.

This dogma of doing a'rati to PP Vishvadevananda and treating him as the guru must be stopped - now.

Note 1: DOGMATIC HINDU STYLE OF A'RATI

Here below is a description of a'rati from Wikipedia:

Aarti is generally performed one to five times daily, and usually at the end of a puja (in South India) or bhajan session (in North India). It is performed during almost all Hindu ceremonies and occasions. It involves the circulating of an 'Aarti plate' or 'Aarti lamp' around a deity and is generally accompanied by the singing of songs in praise of that deva. In doing so, the plate or lamp is supposed to acquire the power of the deity. The priest circulates the plate or lamp to all those present. They cup their down-turned hands over the flame and then raise their palms to their forehead - the purificatory blessing, passed from the deva's image to the flame, has now been passed to the devotee.

The aarti plate is generally made of metal, usually silver, bronze or copper. On it must repose a lamp made of kneaded flour, mud or metal, filled with oil or ghee. One or more cotton wicks (always an odd number) are put into the oil and then lighted, or camphor is burnt instead. The plate may also contain flowers, incense and akshata. In some temples, a plate is not used and the priest holds the ghee lamp in his hand when offering it to the Deities.

The purpose of performing aarti is the waving of lighted wicks before the deities in a spirit of humility and gratitude, wherein faithful followers become immersed in God's divine form. It symbolises the five elements: 1) ether (akash), 2) wind (vayu), 3) fire (agni), 4) water (jal), and 5) earth (pruthvi). Communal Aarti is performed in the mandir; however, devotees also perform it in their homes.

When aarti is performed, the performer faces the deity of God (or divine element, e.g. Ganges river) and concentrates on the form of God by looking into the eyes of the deity (it is said that eyes are the windows to the soul) to get immersed. The flame of the aarti illuminates the various parts of the deity so that the performer and onlookers may better see and concentrate on the form. Aarti is waved in circular fashion, in clockwise manner around the deity. After every circle (or second or third circle), when Aarti has reached the bottom (6-8 o' clock position), the performer waves it backwards while remaining in the bottom (4-6 o' clock position) and then continues waving it in clockwise fashion. The idea here is that aarti represents our daily activities, which revolves around God, a center of our life. Looking at God while performing aarti reminds the performer (and the attendees of the aarti) to keep God at the center of all activities and reinforces the understanding that routine worldly activities are secondary in importance. This understanding would give the believers strength to withstand the unexpected grief and keeps them humble and remindful of God during happy moments.

Note 2: VIDEO FOR YOU TO SEE

When watching this below video, please bear in mind that just as those dogmatic followers are honouring and worshiping the Hindu deity, at the recent reception in Himmatnagar, the lady margiis were honouring and worshiping Purodha Pramukha in the same manner. PP Dada who was the focal point. PP Dada was the one in the centre, and all the ladies were dancing and swaying around him. Those ladies were serenading PP dada with their heart-felt longing and lit candles. They were doing a'rati to him - considering PP as the Revered One. So if you exchange the Hindu deity in the video for PP Dada, then you will get a sense of what transpired recently in Himmatnagar.

Here is an important history of our Ananda Marga and is critically related with the situation in which we now find ourselves, as well as the post 1990 history of Ananda Marga.

A HILARIOUS OLD MYTHOLOGICAL STORY

Here is one old mythological story which provides one glimpse as to how the face of our Ananda Marga changed since 1990. Please read the following.

Long ago in one kingdom there was one King who was extremely unhappy with his eldest daughter. She did not obey him plus she was constantly arguing and creating problems in general. Hence the King was furious with her. So to teach her a lesson the King came up with one plan. He decided that as he himself was responsible for arranging his daughter's marriage, then he would select the most foolish person in the kingdom to be her husband. By this way she might realise her past mistakes and arrogant ways.

With this in mind, the King promptly sent out all sorts of volunteers, horsemen, & scouts to search out the most foolish person in the land. Quickly then reports were coming in from all the ten directions. And every day the King was hearing the news from his ministers about who could be the "perfect match" for his daughter-- i.e. who was that most foolish person.

But thus far no one could satisfy the King's demand. So the King called for the search to go on until the proper candidate was found.

In that setting, in depths of one forgotten jungle, 2 expert scouts from the King's army came across one remarkable scene; indeed they were shocked to see what was going on. There they found that one very simple, illiterate villager was high up in a tree, standing on a branch that was around 40 feet above the ground. And this fellow had one big saw in his hand and step by step he was vigorously cutting the branch. But that was not all because as this fellow engaged in his cutting, he had placed himself on the wrong side of the limb-- the part that was to be cut from the tree. That's why the scouts were watching this scene with great interest. Because by now the branch was more than 50% cut and still the foolish fellow was standing on the wrong side. Means this simple villager had foolishly perched himself on the side of the branch that, with just a few more strokes of the saw, would come violently crashing down to the ground.

Without wasting any more time, the two scouts gave a quick look of confirmation to one another and then the senior scout immediately called out to the tribesman high up on the branch. And the scout gestured for him to stop his work and come down from the tree.

Then the scout told him that, 'Congratulations, you are a prime candidate for becoming a royal relation'. And feeling quite satisfied that indeed they had found the most foolish person in the kingdom, the scouts quickly embarked on the long journey to bring their chosen person back to the King's palace by horseback.

A HILARIOUS OLD MYTHOLOGICAL STORY (CONTINUED)

Up to that point the King had already been presented with the tales of many a foolish person, but he had rejected all. None were foolish enough. So when the King heard that his two expert scouts had returned from the depths of the jungle with one very qualified candidate, then he was very anxious to hear the story that what this person was doing. So he told his
ministers to have the scouts come immediately to his court.

Then in slow, deliberate language the senior scout recounted the entire scene to King. How the unsuspecting villager was very high up in the tree-- and cutting the branch with a big saw-- and 40 forty feet off the ground-- and completely oblivious that he was on the wrong side-- and the branch was bending-- and still the foolish fellow was fully involved in cutting-- and
the branch going to fall-- and cutting was going on more and more-- and still he was completely unaware of what was going to happen-- and forty feet above the ground-- the branch was making creaking noises-- and he was standing on the side that about to fall-- and...

The king listened in amazement & near disbelief that how foolish this person was. And even before the scout had finished the story, with tears of joy and laughter in his eyes the king exuberantly cried out, 'Yes, indeed this is our man; he is the most foolish person in the kingdom. He will serve my purpose. He will be the one to marry my daughter'.

ALL RELATED WITH OUR MARGA

So this is one mythological story yet it is quite applicable to one certain event in our Marga. Because in a similar fashion, those days in 1990 Sarvatmanandji wanted to give some very significant post to a similarly simple person whom he could easily control, and thereby exercise the authority of that post. By this way Sarvatmanandaji thought that 'I, Sarvatmananda, will be able to execute the full authority. So it needs that I should find some extremely simple person who will abide by my every order - regardless of what I want to do'.

SARVATMANANDAJI'S GRAND SEARCH

In that mood, Sarvatmanandji began his grand search to find that most simple person. To that end, he was inquiring all around to find the proper person - checking behind every corner and underneath each rock to find the right candidate.

Then some workers came to Sarvatmanandji and told that this was a very easy request to manage. Because "right here in our compound there is such a very simple person whom you are searching".

They furthermore told, "And not only is he super simple, but he is from a Hindi speaking area - which is good for your overall strategy."

In that fateful moment, Dada Shraddhananda was selected as PP Dada in October 1990.

The first thing Dada Sarvatmananda told Shraddhanandji was, "For the sake of the organisation, you must support me in all that I do."

PP Dada's reply was, "Yes, I will." Sarvatmanandji knew then that he had his man.

And indeed, PP did not disappoint. PP Dada gave his stamp of approval on all that Sarvatmanandji did: Inclusion of so-called mahaprayan into Caryacarya, expulsion as a weapon, destruction of margii rights - everything. Whatever Sarvatmananda wanted to do, PP Dada gave his ok.

So in all the ways, Sarvatmanandji's choice of PP was 100% perfect for what he wanted to do. There was only one thing that Sarvatmanandji failed to understand. He lacked the foresight to know that this same PP will obediently follow any other master as well. That was the folly of Sarvatmanandji.

Just as a dog is obedient to one particular master, but if that master is changed then the dog will be most faithful to the next master. That is not the fault of the dog for doing like this, but rather the short-sightedness of the first master for not realising that this was going to happen.

So here Shraddhanandji should not be blamed.

"Toma'r katha'i bha'vite bha'vite, din cale ja'y kato na'..." (PS 2264)

Purport:

Baba, my days are passing thinking only about Your stories and tales. By Your grace my time is spent involved in kiirtan, asana, sadhana, svadhyaya,
and ideating on You. All day long Your divine image is floating in my mental plate-- in my Guru cakra. Even then, when I sit in meditation then You do not come in my heart. It makes me think I do not have any sadhana and that is why You are not coming to me. For this reason I feel that the intensity of my sadhana is not proper. Otherwise when I sit in dhyana, You would bless me by coming.  

Baba, by Your grace I feel in my heart that You love me; I can sense that You understand my painful and melancholic longing for You. By Your divine compassion I also know that You keep my 'I-feeling' and memories with You. Baba, I understand that You are always thinking about me and watching for my welfare. In spite of all this, Your love and my love could not merge. These two things could not become one. Baba, You have not come so I could not hold You and I could not get You very close. That is why there is an aching pain lingering in my heart.  

Baba, please mold me according to Your liking so that I can realise You more deeply, more intimately. Baba, by Your grace I love You and You love me, so do with me as You wish-- according to Your desire. Baba, please give me the realisation that there is no one other than You in this vast universe. Sometimes I think my worldly friends are my true saviours and that they are going to help me in my hour of need-- up to eternity. Sometimes I think like this. O' divine One, please shower me in Your grace compassion so I can realise in the core of my heart that only You are my eternal shelter. [1]

[1] "Tumi cha'r'a na'i jagate kehai...": In this last line of the above Prabhat Samgiita the devotee wants the divine realisation that only Parama Purusa is the eternal shelter. This same type of idea has been expressed in Baba's below teaching.

Note: This following letter is related with respected PP Dada. I am very much concerned by his not following certain dharmic codes like attending dharmacakra etc. Why am I writing this? Because I have love, affection, and respect for PP Dada. I do not want to see PP's downfall or degeneration. With this empathetic mindset, I am forced to write in this manner. This is my sole motive. Sometimes one has to engage in hard talk. People may not like to hear it, but it is for PP's welfare.

Baba says, "You are to attend Dharmacakra weekly. These are all codes of discipline as prescribed by Bhágavata Dharma. You must follow these codes. There cannot be any concession in this respect, rather concession is dangerous...One may be a king or may be a very poor man, but the code of dharma is equally applicable to all. In this matter, nobody can claim any special concession or favour." (Subhasita Samgraha - 24, Jaeva Dharma and Bhágavata Dharma)

1. Baba's above guideline is quite clear. Every Ananda Margii must adhere to the codes of dharma - i.e. Ananda Marga ideological principles. No one in the Marga is above these practices, regardless of their post or birth etc.

2. Unfortunately, the various PP Dadas are unable to follow the most basic aspect of this code: "Attend dharmacakra weekly."

3. At present, PP Dada Kinshuk is kept away and unable to attend DC; he has not been granted this fundamental right by the leaders of Tiljala.

4. And a similar scene is the case with PP Vishvadevananda on the Ranchi side.

5. It is entirely shameful that our top post holders are unable to adhere to the tenets of AM ideology.


WORSE THAN THE DOGMATIC RELIGIONS

6. Even the dogmatic religions are not as bad as this. For instance, in Islam & Christianity etc- regardless of one's post - they must go and attend namaz or prayer. Dogmatic or not, at least they follow what they preach. They adhere to their scripture. No one is exempt from this basic duty and responsibility. But unfortunately our PP Dada(s) do not follow what they preach. They give lectures based on Subhasita Samgraha but in their conduct they do not follow those same guidelines.

7. Nowadays, that basic degree of honesty and integrity is not present in our Marga. The various groups set-up their own separate rules regarding PP Dada's code of conduct that are totally contrary to what Baba has given. So they do not follow the Preceptor. They do not follow their own shastra, i.e. AM ideology.

8. This is the standard on display nowadays in the Marga: The top leaders are not held up to the mirror of Baba's teachings. How can we expect to build a brilliant AM society when even our PP Dada(s) do not follow basic mandates like attending the weekly dharmacakra.

PP DADA SKIPPED MANY DHARMIC PRACTICES

9. Let us never forget that from 1990 all the way up to his death on 15th October 2008, i.e. 18 years, PP Dada Shraddhananda skipped so many fundamental dharmic practices.

(a) PP did not attend dharmacakra;
(b) PP did not sing Prabhat Samgiita;
(c) PP did not dance or sing kiirtan;
(d) PP did not participate in akhanda kiirtan;
(e) PP did not do madhura sadhana;
(f) PP did not attend paincajanya;
(g) PP did not sit for Guru Puja;
(h) PP did not raise the slogan, Parama Pita Baba Ki - Jai, for Baba;
(i) Rather, PP thought everyone was raising the Parama Pita Baba Ki - Jai slogan for PP himself; PP mistakenly assumed that the margiis were chanting the slogan in his own honour - i.e. the honour of PP Dada;
(j) In a similar fashion, PP was receiving the VSS salute to the Divine Father - PP thought that this salute was for him, when really it is for Baba;
(k) PP was giving marriage blessing as if he was Baba.

All these wrongs against dharma were committed by PP Dada Shraddhananda in the psycho-spiritual realm.

Plus, in the social sphere, PP was convinced not to use the phone or email in order to show that he was just like Baba. But Baba is Parama Purusa so He knew everything and therefore He did not need a phone to receive any news etc. As an ego boost, PP Dada thought he could do the same thing.

Initially, because of Sarvatmananda's manipulation, and later on because of Rudrananda's influence, Shraddhananda was internally convinced that he was above the level of human beings. PP Dada thought that he himself was sitting on the seat of Parama Purusa and receiving the salute to the Divine Father i.e. Parama Purusa.  So there was no need for him to follow dharmic codes like the point of dharmacakra. That was Shraddhanandji's mind-set. He wrongly reasoned in this way due to his inflated ego, Sarvatmananda's coaxing, and later on Rudrananda's prompting.

And behold what happened to our Marga under his tenure.

Now the current PP Dadas are falling in the same trap and will meet the same fate, if they do not mend their ways.

PP MUST SUFFER THE CONSEQUENCES

10. Because he held the high post of Purodha Pramukha, PP Dada wrongly thought that he need not adhere to the principles of dharma like attending dharmacakra. Yet that is exactly Baba's warning. On points of dharma, whether one is a king, prime minister, president or even purodha pramukha, there must not be any concession. 

Baba says, "One may be a king or may be a very poor man, but the code of dharma is equally applicable to all. In this matter, nobody can claim any special concession or favour." (Subhasita Samgraha - 24, Jaeva Dharma and Bhágavata Dharma)

Thus everyone, regardless of their post or position, must follow bhagavata dharma. Baba furthermore issues the following warning.

Baba says, "There cannot be any concession in this respect, rather concession is dangerous." (Subhasita Samgraha - 24, Jaeva Dharma and Bhágavata Dharma)

Sadly, due to not following the dharmic code of attending dharmacakra, PP Dada fell. Since his demise, Shraddhanandji has certainly been facing negative pratisaincara - that is Baba's warning: If you do not follow dharmic principles like attending dharmacakra, then you are not going to get human life, let alone mukti or moksa.

So the tragedy is that now Shraddhananda must have been reborn as an animal. Emotionally, we may not like to think and talk in this manner, but prakrti does not care about our emotions. Prakrti follows the rule made by Parama Purusa. Whether we like to consider it or not, but Shraddhananda must have been reborn as an animal. Today, he must be struggling for survival in the animal kingdom. Why? Because on points of dharma there must not be any compromise or concession, yet PP made concessions and departed from the code of dharma by not attending dharmacakra.

It is our duty to warn the current PP's - Kinshuk and Vishvadevananda: Beware, do not pave the path of your degeneration down some wide, concrete, downward sloping avenue. Do not spend your life easily gliding in this degenerative way. The end will not be good.

ALERT THE TWO PP'S OF TODAY

11. Attention Readers: Please forward this letter to these two current PP's, assuming they receive email. They should not be drowned in their own silly logic - prakrti will not spare them. If these two PP's do not mend their ways, they will be forced to suffer. After their demise, these PP Dadas will be reborn as animals. Neither Rudrananda nor Sarvatmananda will be able to save them; whether Rudrananda and Sarvatmananda are living or not, neither will be in any position to help their PP Dada. Rather, these two PP Dadas - Kinshuk and Vishvadevananda - will have to suffer the blows of prakrti and suffer the horrors of animal life. There is no other way, if they continue their present course.

Please re-read Baba's teaching and pay careful attention to this line:

"One may be a king or may be a very poor man, but the code of dharma is equally applicable to all. In this matter, nobody can claim any special concession or favour." (Subhasita Samgraha - 24, Jaeva Dharma and Bhágavata Dharma)

12. Unfortunately, now the various groups - for whatever reason - are perpetuating all or many of these same dogmas surrounding their selected PP Dada. So their PP refrains from so many dharmic practices.

Those who want the welfare of everyone - including the welfare of these two PP's - should try to convince Kinshuk and Vishvadevanandji to open their eyes after shaking off their ego. Otherwise the black hand of maya will not spare them. It will drag them into negative pratisaincara / animal life.

BABA'S MANDATE

13. The answer is quite clear. Everyone in Ananda Marga, irrespective of their post, must follow bhagavata dharma, i.e. the teachings and mandates as outlined by Lord Shrii Shrii Anandamurtiji. Then and only then will we be able to build up a dharmic society founded on the principles of AM ideology.

Here again why am I writing this? Because I have love for PP and I have love, affection and respect for all Ananda Margiis, including Sarvatmananda and Rudrananda. Note 2: AN IMPORTANT DISTINCTION

There remains one important distinction to make:

(a) Those margiis and workers who sincerely try to follow bhagavata dharma will certainly receive Baba's divine grace. Baba has expressed this point again and again in His teachings. In the course of their life, even good sadhakas are bound to make mistakes. By seeing their earnest desire, Baba will shower His immense grace to help them proceed on the path and reach their cherished Goal.

(b) In contrast, those confirmed sinners who knowingly disobey and intentionally alter Guru's divine guidelines will have to suffer the consequences of their sinful acts. For them, there is no escape. According to the laws of prakrti, they will be caught in negative pratisaincara. They will have to undergo rebirth to face their bad samskaras.

Here the point is that sincere Ananda Margiis who adhere to Guru's guidelines will always get Baba's blessing. By His grace they will reach unto Him. That is His explicit guarantee. Those who knowingly go against Guru for their selfish gain do not fall in this category. They must meet face the consequences.

I totally agree: It is both shameful and sinful to give a higher place to PP Dada than to our Revered Baba during any DMS program.

On the DMS stage, PP Dada can be 1/2 foot high but in that case Revered Baba's place must be 5 feet high. Baba's place must be clearly above and unparalleled.
Unfortunately, at the recent 2011 Ananda Purnima DMS, the organisers did not do like this. Rather, they placed PP Dada on a pedestal higher than our Beloved Guru Baba.

It is also true that various top Dadas see PP merely as a political pawn to put forth their own agenda. That is why they prop up the status of PP. That has been going on since 1990.

But as stated in the original letter of this thread (link appended below), the post of PP is social not spiritual. Yet some Dadas, with - an ulterior motive in mind - have designated PP Dada as the spiritual head. But that just is not so - Purodha Pramukha is a social post. All the reasons posted about this earlier are appended at the bottom of this email.

Now I wish to bring up my new point.

REBUTTAL TO H GROUP'S BOGUS CLAIM

Here today I also wish to give a reply to Ranchi's false justification of 20 June 2011 which is appended below. Apparently they did not like the first posting on this topic, but since they had no logic and reasoning to stand on they came up with one bogus allegation.

They called the photo of PP Dada at DMS "fabricated" and "confusing". Yet what they failed to state is that this is the very photo which Ranchi themselves distributed across the entire globe. This is the photo which is featured on their own sponsored website. No one altered this photo in any way. This is their photo. They are the ones who took the picture of PP Dada Vishvadevananda sitting above Baba on the DMS stage. No one else took this photo and no one fabricated it in any way.

As proof of all this, please see the attached screenshot which details how this photo was published on their official Ananda Parivara website newsletter. Ananda Parivara is the official NY newsletter from the Ranchi front. In addition we have attached a jpg version of that same picture. But again, they are the ones who brought this photo to fore. It is their work from start to finish. Thus they are in no position to accuse anyone of "fabricating" the photo.

Indeed team Ranchi could not logically reply to any of the substantive points raised:
(a) PP was seated in a higher and more respectful place than Baba;
(b) PP is social post not a spiritual one;
(c) top Dadas manipulated PP for their selfish gain;
(d) and more.

Since they had no reply to any of the above, Ranchi had to scramble for some other allegation. So they came up with their false accusation that "someone fabricated the photo".

This was their false and utterly ridiculous attempt. They accused "someone" of posting a deceptive photo of PP on the DMS stage. But that is entirely wrong because they were the ones who took this photo of PP Dada sitting on a higher level than Revered Baba. And they uploaded it to the internet for all to see. Yet they levied an accusation against someone else.

WHAT PEOPLE DO WHEN THEY HAVE NO LOGIC

And that is exactly what Baba says people do when they are devoid of logic and reasoning - they make bogus allegations.

Baba says, "Where reasoning fails, vilification becomes the sole stock-in-trade. When you hear abuses from these frogs-in-the-well, you can take for granted that the grey matter in their frenzied brains have no functional residues left and that they have come to you only to convince you of their helpless and fey [crazy] condition." (Subhasita Samgraha, Part 3, Shreya & Preya)

Thus team Ranchi put forth their false allegation because they had no legs to stand on.

STILL THEY MAY CONTINUE TO CRY OUT

Even then - still to this day - those at the helm of Ranchi may say that "it was the camera angle" or "it was the side from where it was taken" or any other ludicrous justification they might give. But you know that?

There is no way for them to escape this truth. The stage was small and it was all plain as day what happened. There is no question that a camera angle ruined the scene. The photo was undignified simply because the reality of the way things were set-up on the DMS stage was totally improper. Guru must be given a far higher place than PP. The fact that PP's seat was higher than Baba's is their fault, not the fault of those circulating the photo. Only in-charges suffering from a low-minded outlook could have set-up the stage in this way. That was the misfortune, not anything else.

CLOSING REMARKS

The following are some concluding points to keep in mind.

The ideal way for the DMS stage to be set up is to have Baba's photo elevated at least 5 feet off the ground. Then there is no doubt or hairline measurements about who has the highest seat and who is the Revered One. Then PP can sit on some sort of cushion if he wishes, whereby he is a few inches off the ground or 1/2 foot if needed.

Many of the general margiis and field workers in attendance did indeed feel uncomfortable and devotionally wounded by seeing PP's seat above that of Baba. So it is not just a photo that is wrong. The entire ambiance and aura of the DMS was negatively affected by this. Just ask those rational-minded margiis and Wts who attended.

REVERENCE TO GURU

Let us all contemplate this below teaching. By this way it is sure no such mistake will occur on our DMS stage again.

Baba says, "Trtiiyaḿ Gurupújanam. I must have reverence for the Guru. What is the Guru? “Gu” means “darkness”, that is, darkness in the psycho-spiritual sphere. And “Ru” means “dispelling agent.” That is, he who dispels darkness from my psychic and spiritual body is the Guru. “Gu” means “darkness”, “Ru” means “dispeller”. “Trtiiyaḿ Gurupújanam.” That is, you must have respect for the Guru." (Ananda Vacanamrtam-12, Shiva's Seven Secrets)

Note 1: PLACE OF GURU IN TANTRA & PP IS A SOCIAL POST

PLACE OF GURU IN TANTRA

Let's begin with a quick review of our tantra tradition.

As we know, we do guru dhyana at the sahasrara cakra. That is the highest point of the human experience. That spot signifies deep regard and reverence. It is the pinnacled point of the human mind. Indeed that is the tradition in tantra: To goad the mind upwards, never lower.

And indeed in all aspects of our spiritual life, Guru's place is the highest and the most revered. Nobody is above or on par with Guru. This is the main teaching of tantra.

Because when Baba is the Guru and He is Taraka Brahma and perfect in all respects, then naturally His status is unparalleled.

Baba says, "The one formless, beginningless and infinite Parama Brahma (Supreme Consciousness) is the only entity to be attained by living beings – That alone is Jagat Guru (the Supreme preceptor), That alone has revealed Brahmavidya´ (intuitional science) to us through the medium of the name and form of Anandamu´rtijii. Unit beings must be made to appreciate Its majesty." (Caryacarya, part 2, Sadhana, point #1a)

Yet some for their selfish reasons are trying to prop up PP Dada - i.e. one mere mortal born in bondage and prone to avidya maya - as being the revered one. Indeed this drama has been going on in one way or another since 1990.

So we should investigate why this is being done and clear the air.

PP IS A SOCIAL POST - NOT A SPIRITUAL ONE

First off, we should all understand that the post of Purodha Pramukha is a social one, not a spiritual post. Here are the reasons why:

(A) Caryacarya itself is our social scripture. And CC-1 lays out the social duties of purodha pramukha. PP Dada's duty is to act as head of this worldly organisation AMPS. In this capacity, PP is the "chief of the purodhas".

(B) PP has zero ability to arrange his own mukti & moksa; in that case what can he do for others in this regard. Nothing. PP is himself not liberated and obviously cannot grant that to others. This furthermore shows that his post is purely social, not spiritual.

(C) PP cannot give any new scripture or shastra. Our AM scripture is perfect and complete - all delivered by Guru Himself. If PP wishes to write a story or commentary he may do so. But he is unable to contribute even one syllable to the shastras of Ananda Marga.

(D) Organizational executive decisions related with social affairs must reach to Purodha Pramukha for his discretionary review. This is one of his social duties.

(E) PP's post is lifelong - not longer than that.

(F) In the Purodha Board, PP's single vote has decisive meaning, though his order can be overturned. Hence, PP's order is not final; his decisions are subject to review.

(G) Each of the judiciary decisions also must reach to Purodha Pramukha for his final approval. This again deals with the social sphere.

(H) Purodha Pramukha is chief of the purodhas - which is a social board in our AMPS.

(I) PP Dada has no great spiritual power anointed to him by God. Just he is one purodha selected by his peers to serve as the chief of the board.

(J) Plus PP has so many more social duties and responsibilities.

By all this it is quite clear that the post of Purodha Pramukha is a social post - not a spiritual one - in our Ananda Marga Pracaraka Samgha.

In our Caryacarya, Baba has given various provisions about the social post of Purodha Pramukha. The post of PP is just one of the many social posts in the organization wherein PP Dada deals with worldly affairs, not spiritual emancipation etc.

The question remains: When the position of purodha pramukha is clearly a social post, then why do some try to turn it into a spiritual one by giving maximum reverence to PP Dada and placing his seat higher than Baba's.

At the recent 2011 Ananda Purnima DMS, one grave injustice was done by a few organisational leaders. The ramifications of this sinful act are slowly being embedded within our organisational-cum-devotional culture. We should all be aware about what happened - otherwise things will only continue to get worse.

THE SCENE INSIDE DMS

Here is what occurred: Purodha Pramukha, i.e. Dada Vishvadevananda, appeared on stage at the DMS sitting on an elevated seat that was higher than Guru's place. The photo is attached for your review.

Here the key point is that in AM Brahma is the Guru. There is no lineage of gurus as in Hinduism and other yogic traditions. Baba is the Parama Purusa incarnate whereas PP Dada is just one jiiva born into this world with all kinds of samskaras and ignorance. Baba is the granter of salvation whereas PP is struggling for liberation. There is no comparison between the two. There is no question of PP gaining higher stature.

Yet tragically, that is exactly what happened at the recent Ananda Purnima DMS. It was arranged to put PP Dada's dais higher up than Guru's place on the DMS stage. That is the atrocity.

In this letter we explore (a) how and why opportunistic Dadas prop up PP's stature for their own gain by promoting PP as the spiritual head of AM, and (b) why the post of Purodha Parmukha is verily a social post, not a spiritual one.

PLACE OF GURU IN TANTRA

Let's begin with a quick review of our tantra tradition.

As we know, we do guru dhyana at the sahasrara cakra. That is the highest point of the human experience. That spot signifies deep regard and reverence. It is the pinnacled point of the human mind. Indeed that is the tradition in tantra: To goad the mind upwards, never lower.

And indeed in all aspects of our spiritual life, Guru's place is the highest and the most revered. Nobody is above or on par with Guru. This is the main teaching of tantra.

Because when Baba is the Guru and He is Taraka Brahma and perfect in all respects, then naturally His status is unparalleled.

Baba says, "The one formless, beginningless and infinite Parama Brahma (Supreme Consciousness) is the only entity to be attained by living beings – That alone is Jagat Guru (the Supreme preceptor), That alone has revealed Brahmavidya´ (intuitional science) to us through the medium of the name and form of Anandamu´rtijii. Unit beings must be made to appreciate Its majesty." (Caryacarya, part 2, Sadhana, point #1a)

Yet some for their selfish reasons are trying to prop up PP Dada - i.e. one mere mortal born in bondage and prone to avidya maya - as being the revered one. Indeed this drama has been going on in one way or another since 1990.

So we should investigate why this is being done and clear the air.

PP IS A SOCIAL POST - NOT A SPIRITUAL ONE

First off, we should all understand that the post of Purodha Pramukha is a social one, not a spiritual post. Here are the reasons why:

(A) Caryacarya itself is our social scripture. And CC-1 lays out the social duties of purodha pramukha. PP Dada's duty is to act as head of this worldly organisation AMPS. In this capacity, PP is the "chief of the purodhas".

(B) PP has zero ability to arrange his own mukti & moksa; in that case what can he do for others in this regard. Nothing. PP is himself not liberated and obviously cannot grant that to others. This furthermore shows that his post is purely social, not spiritual.

(C) PP cannot give any new scripture or shastra. Our AM scripture is perfect and complete - all delivered by Guru Himself. If PP wishes to write a story or commentary he may do so. But he is unable to contribute even one syllable to the shastras of Ananda Marga.

(D) Organizational executive decisions related with social affairs must reach to Purodha Pramukha for his discretionary review. This is one of his social duties.

(E) PP's post is lifelong - not longer than that.

(F) In the Purodha Board, PP's single vote has decisive meaning, though his order can be overturned. Hence, PP's order is not final; his decisions are subject to review.

(G) Each of the judiciary decisions also must reach to Purodha Pramukha for his final approval. This again deals with the social sphere.

(H) Purodha Pramukha is chief of the purodhas - which is a social board in our AMPS.

(I) PP Dada has no great spiritual power anointed to him by God. Just he is one purodha selected by his peers to serve as the chief of the board.

(J) Plus PP has so many more social duties and responsibilities.

By all this it is quite clear that the post of Purodha Pramukha is a social post - not a spiritual one - in our Ananda Marga Pracaraka Samgha.

In our Caryacarya, Baba has given various provisions about the social post of Purodha Pramukha. The post of PP is just one of the many social posts in the organization wherein PP Dada deals with worldly affairs, not spiritual emancipation etc.

The question remains: When the position of purodha pramukha is clearly a social post, then why do some try to turn it into a spiritual one by giving maximum reverence to PP Dada and placing his seat higher than Baba's.

OPPORTUNISTIC WAYS OF GROUPISTS

If you look at the present day dogmatic religious scene or political field then you may see that lackluster people are always getting the power. Just some puppet type of person gets the leadership role, and conniving priests rule from behind.

And this is exactly what has been happening with the post of purodha pramukha since 1990. From day 1, Sarvatmananda was excited and eager to select a PP whom he could control 100%: Hence the selection of the late Dada Shraddhananda.

Sarvatmananda immediately then propped up PP Dada Shraddhananda as being divine because then those divine powers would be routed to him (i.e. Sarvatmananda) since he was the one controlling PP. By this way Sarvatmananda ruled with an iron fist - all via the tongue and signature of PP. It was quite a plan.

And indeed Rudrananda basked in this same luxury when he snatched PP Shraddhananda. He could do anything and everything with PP's stamp of approval. By this way he even ousted Sarvatmananda from the organisation. How ironic: Sarvatmananda got bit by his own creation.

Anyway, groupists want to get more power by controlling a PP whom they deem as being all-powerful. This is their trick. And to make PP all-powerful they build him up as being divine and the veritable spiritual head of AMPS. Tragically, some innocent margiis get befooled and cheated.

Actually what these Dadas do is just a carbon copy of Hindu dogma. The Hindu priests put all power in their idols. Then when they wish to get any order implemented, they say, "Goddess Kali told me to tell you...". This is their manner. By this way all credit and responsibility goes to some stone statue that is 100% silent. There is nothing anybody can do but obey. After all, where is there scope to argue or protest? That stone idol is mute. In this way, those exploiting priests have unquestionable power.

Some of our top Dadas do exactly the same maneuver. They create an aura that PP is great, nay divine, and put him on a high pedestal - above Baba. Of course, within their inner circle they have not an iota of respect for this PP Dada - after all he is just their puppet - but they proejct that same PP as having divine and absolute powers. PP's word is beyond question. This is their outer show to the general public. With this technique, such Dadas can execute their every wish: Expulsion as weapon, victimisation of innocent margiis, capture more power, eradicate margii rights, scripture distortion, Fake Ananda Vanii and so much more. All of these misdeeds are carried out by "the word of PP".

Their top aim is for the common margii to transfer all their respect and love for Baba to PP and ultimately surrender to PP. Then those opportunistic Dada can wield full power in the Marga.

All they have to do is find some spineless Dada to act as PP and then prop up that Dada as being a god. This is their plan. In the past they did this with Shraddhananda and now they are doing this with Vishvadevananda.

That is why at the recent Ananda Purnima DMS they placed PP Dada Vishvadevananda's dais on a plateau higher than Baba's stance. Thus we see that who gets the high seat.

CONCLUDING THOUGHTS

Here are some closing thoughts on this topic:

1. Such opportunistic Dadas are just implementing Hindu dogma. Step by step they are just putting forth the idea that when Guru "left" then the current in-charge, i.e. PP Dada, takes on an equal or greater role.

2. So margiis should salute PP as PP has divine power. By securing maximum respect for PP from the margiis, then simple and ignorant margiis become restless to get the blessing of PP. In the name of PP they will accept anything. This is the plan of those opportunistic Dadas.

3. New margiis think this is the system and that everything is proper, while old margiis think that the matter is sensitive. So they do not protest or raise their voice in public.

4. In AM we do not approve of these Hindu dogmas. But opportunistic purodhas are so degraded that want to start that tradition, gradually. The attached photo is but one of the proofs. It is further validated by viewing all the horrors that have been done in the name of PP since 1990. By this way anyone can see that they prop up the post of PP to something divine and then wield that power to their liking.

5. The various religions have a spiritual head but that is not the case in AM. In our Marga, there is no third entity between God and the disciple. The religions use a priest between their god and the seeker; but in AM, Parama Purusa (God) and the sadhaka have a direct connection. There is no intermediary.

6. We have to remember that in AM the role of an acarya is limited. Whether it be RS Dada or PP Dada, they have the same Guru as regular margiis. PP is not something divine. Rather, he is just a human being in a social post.

BABA'S BLESSING

Baba has given Ananda Marga ideology for rooting out dogma. Yet now we ourselves are falling into Hindu dogma as top Dadas prop up the stature of PP on the stage of our very own DMS - giving more status to PP than Baba. Is that not ironic - even tragic.

Even though in the relative sphere our Marga is struggling some, surely the day is not far when all will rally around His divine message in one voice and declare:

"All human beings belong to one race...'The exploitation of human beings cannot be allowed!' and, 'Religious hypocrisy cannot be tolerated!' Giving a clarion call to the fragmented human society from beneath the saffron flag, the symbol of service and sacrifice, they will proclaim at the top of their voices, 'Human beings of the world, unite!'" (POD)

Note 1: MORE ABOUT THE INNER SCENE

In this entire spectacle, PP Dada is the "stupid king" and the opportunistic Dadas are the "blind cabinet" as they do not realise that by not having reverence (shraddha') for Baba they are inviting their spiritual deminse.

Here are some other key points to know:

1) Because PP Vishvadevananda sided with Nigamananda and toured around Europe with him, now PP Dada is very scared of being victimised by Rudrananda. So he is psychically touching the feet of Rudrananda to get in his good books. That is why, now, all of a sudden, after the death of Nigamanadna, PP is being extremely obedient to Rudrananda. Because earlier he left Rudrananda to be with Nigamananda. PP was not aware that Rudrananda would outlive Nigamananda.

2. Rudrananda wants to become PP. So these days his "yes men" are campaigning for him. They want to remove PP by making life totally suffocating for Vishvadevananda etc. PP Vishvadevananda is younger than Rudrananda so they do not have the luxury of  waiting for him to die. Rather they have to force PP out of the post by making life unbearable for him. Then Rudrananda can capture the seat.

3. Ananda Dyotona Didi is also feeling shelterless since the death of Nigamananda so she is also thinking to leave team Ranchi. Staying is unbearable for her.

Note 2: CAPITALISING ON PP'S STATURE:

MARRIAGE BLESSING BUSINESS

The below letter is another way in which they aim to profit by making PP into some divine entity. At DMS, they are charging big money from margiis to get a marriage blessing from PP Dada. When in truth PP's post is only social, not spiritual.

Note: So long as Baba's above teaching is not put into practice, one cannot
do great work. Devoid of this one's life will be as meaningful as the life
of a termite or ant etc. In our practical life we should be strict in
following Baba's teaching.

These days there are repeated reports that respected Kinshuk ji is very frustrated, depressed and suffering from serious mental and physiological problems since taking the post of PP. In the last few weeks his condition has worsened. This is of concern to all.


                                           WHY FRUSTRATION

Frustration and depression do not come in the face of difficulties when your whole heart and mind are fully committed to a particular endeavour. Things like victory and defeat are not the cause of depression. Frustration and depression result when your heart and mind are not fully dedicated to a certain task or project and serious difficulties arise. Then one will be totally disturbed.


                                KINSHUK'S EXPERIENCE IN DHYANA

As you may recall it was reported that Kinshuk only decided to accept the post of PP after he said that Baba came in dhyana:

During meditation that morning, Baba lovingly said to him: “When I wanted to adopt you as my laukik son, you did not think for a moment and unhesitatingly left your
birth-parents in a fizzy. And when now Dharma needs you, the Dharmika people want to ‘adopt’ you as their leader, why this hesitation?

After this "experience" Kinshuk agreed to accept the position of PP. So we have to think...

In that case why is Kinshuk getting frustrated and depressed. Such feelings are not going hand in hand with Kinshuk's experience in dhyana. Because no matter how tough situation is, there is no need for frustration when Baba has given him the duty directly. Then one should be able to carry on in the face of any and all difficulties.

After all, when the communists attacked our Dadas in 1967, then they faced dire, life and death circumstances, but even then they never got frustrated. Why? Because they were commited to the task at hand and they had great reverence and faith in Baba. So they never faced any frustration or depression.

If on the other hand they thought that they were had been befooled and brought to Ananda Nagar just to get killed or for petty reasons, then they would have been psychically paralyzed. That is what happened with US soldiers in Afghanistan. In spite of having all kinds of weapons and technology, 70% of the US soldiers are depressed and forlorn. In their troubled state they sit and wonder how they got cheated and duped. Their heart and mind do not believe in what they are doing.


                                                     ANALOGY

Suppose a father told his son to take up boxing and the son was beaten up badly, then that son will become frustrated, discouraged, and depressed and blame his father for putting him in that situation.

But if a son began boxing with his own inner inspiration then he would not get depressed. Nor would he get depressed if he had 100% trust in his father's judgment. So long as he thought, "Whatever my father does is for my welfare", then he would not get depressed.

It is only if he thinks that his father put him in serious trouble on purpose that he will get depressed. Or if he thinks and that despite his own belief that boxing was not good, he was forced into it and got beat, then he will surely be depressed.

Or suppose a mother forced her son to go out and do night sadhana and the son got bit by many mosquitoes, then the son will become upset and angry at his mom for forcing him to do that.

In contrast if the son decided to go out for night sadhana on his own accord and faced that same swarm of mosquitoes, then he would not be mentally disturbed.

It is only if the son thinks that the mom purposely put him in harm's way - and forced him to do something he did not wish to do - that he will feel mentally frustrated and depressed.

Here the point is that when one gets involved in something that they do not want to do then frustration and anxiety are certain if serious problem comes.


                                       BACK TO KINSHUK'S PLIGHT

Now let's return back to Kinshuk's situation...

Given the claim that Kinshuk ji accepted the post of PP because of his "experience with Baba in dhyana" and given the fact that now Kinshuk is terribly frustrated and depressed, there are only two possible reasons for this:

#1: Kinshuk did not tell the truth that time and he did not have that experience in dhyana.

#2: Kinshuk does not have the requisite faith and trust in Baba so when a problem comes then he becomes frustrated and depressed. By thinking about his current problem, he thinks that Baba put him in trouble.

Indeed, Kinshuk might be thinking that, "I have a wife and child to care for but now I am engrossed in this horrible situation. This is at all not good. How did this happen - how did I get embroiled in this mess?"

In contrast, if Kinshukji has strong faith that no matter whatever difficulty may come, things will be fine. Because then the outlook is: "When Baba has put me in this situation then He will certainly give me the courage and strength to solve the matter." If Kinshuk had this mentality then he would not have gotten depressed.

In either case - if he did not tell the truth or if he lacks faith - the situation is not good. Here below is a proposal for how to solve the problem at hand, and improve Kinshukji's condition.


                                    WHAT KINSHUKJI SHOULD DO

It is obvious that when a person not deeply involved in organisational politics for the last 21 years takes on the role of PP, then he may not know what the position entails. Kinshukji was naive in thinking it was just like a sweet potato.

Now however he is finding himself to be a tough situation - just like the Hindi proverb of a snake with a mole, i.e. sa'np chachundar. On occasion, a snake may catch a mole yet these moles are very dirty and poisonous. So if the snake eats the mole the snake is going to die of poison. Plus even if that snake does not eat the mole the snake will suffer from other poisons from the mole and become blind. In either case the snake is in trouble.

In English the proverb is, stuck between a rock and a hard place.

Tragically, today that is Kinshukji's state: he is in a pathetic situation. He cannot leave the post as he will forever be known as a coward; and he cannot remain in the post as he will be tortured to death. See his precarious position.

Ultimately there is no option. Due to his poor state of health physically and mentally, he should not be in such a tenuous position. Kinshuk ji should not remain in post of PP one second longer; after all his life is far more important than the post of PP.

It is my request to all good and kind-hearted margiis to suggest Kinshuk Da to give up the post and save his life.

Dying in the chair is not good; Kinshuk ji is not a sannyasi. He is a family man. Indeed he has to take care of two families: the universal family and his personal family. Kinshuk must not ignore his personal family otherwise he is going against the fundamentals and principles of AM. Due to the severe pressures of being PP, Kinshuk should not leave this world in an untimely way and make his wife a widow and his child an orphan. 

Best is that Kinshuk should leave the chair and regain his health for the sake of his family. Those who care about Kinshuk and wish for his welfare will certainly understand this plea.

Ultimately, my heart goes out to Kinshuk.

soothing balm. Baba, You have graciously lifted & lovingly placed those
downtrodden people-- who were lying in the dust-- on Your divine lap.
Baba You are most beautiful and You grace everyone immensely. Baba, Your
glory cannot be explained...

                           Why Kiirtan

Baba says, "Now the question is, does Parama Purus'a really want people to
sing His glories? He never tells anyone to do kiirtana for Him: then why
should people do kiirtana?...Kiirtana was first invented by devotees to
give joy to Parama Purus'a, and in the process of pleasing and delighting
Parama Purus'a, the devotees lost themselves. Thus kiirtana belongs to the
category of supraaesthetic science...So of all the branches of music,
kiirtana is the best. And since music is the composite of song, dance and
instrumental music, kiirtana is not only song--it also includes
instrumental music. These three aspects of music when combined together
create such an unblemished, heavenly environment that people completely
forget themselves. This is the charm, the excellence, of kiirtana. So those
who are truly intelligent should certainly do kiirtana. So those who are
truly intelligent should certainly do kiirtana either in public, or if they
