Look What is Happening in Didi's TC

Subject: Look What is Happening in Didi's TC
Baba
"Jakhani bha'vi kichu cini bujhi, dekhi a'mi kichu ja'ni na'..." (PS 3225)
Purport:
When my little ego dominates then I think that I know and understand
everything. It is only later that I realize that I do not know
anything-- I know not. When I try to move on the path with my own
strength, then it is difficult for me to decide what I want to do and
what is my goal. From the origin of which unknown source am I floating
and floating, from far to the farthest place, in the search of that
unknown divine Entity. Day and night I am searching and wandering; why I
wander around I do not understand.
O' karunamaya, what type of divine play do You do with me. What type of
liila do You go on playing with this unit entity. How can this divine
play between unit and cosmic continue without Your grace. Baba, You are
everything, only by Your grace is anything possible...
== LOOK WHAT IS HAPPENING IN DIDI'S TC ==
Namaskar,
Our WT Training Centres are meant to stand as one of the great pillars
of society - a breeding ground for highly moral and spiritual teachers
who will tour the globe, preach the gospel of neo-humanism and teach
sadhana.
Sadly, at present, we are not reaching that high ideal in all our centres.
While, our various TCs may (or may not) have their ills, here our main
focus is on the Didi's Training Centre in Bangalore with some references
to the Dada's TC in Benares (Varanasi). Others can give their report(s)
about other TCs.
IT ALL STARTS AT THE TOP
As we know well, for any TC to be successful, the person in charge - the
trainer - must be of proper calibre. No matter what else may be going on
in the world, if the trainer is good then the trainees will grow in the
right way. Then our WT trainer centre will be successful.
Hence any WT trainer must be an acarya in the purest sense of the term.
Baba says, "A'caran'a't pa't'hayati iti a'ca'ryah – Those who teach by
their own conduct are a'ca'ryas." (AV-34)
Here below Baba continues to speak of the quality needed to guide
others, like our WT trainers must do.
Baba says, "Those who have the responsibility to show the path to others
should be of superlative character with the most refined conduct. They
and their followers must move constantly towards all-round development
and shreya [ultimate spiritual attainment]. Persons who teach such
well-regulated behaviour to others by their own conduct are called
a'ca'ryas." (AV-31)
Regardless of which WT training center - Benares, Sweden, Davao,
Bangalore etc- the trainer must be a true acarya. Then all will be well.
Such a true Acarya Trainer will fill the minds of their trainees with
the golden teachings of AM and suffuse their hearts with devotion for
Baba. A true trainer will look upon the trainees as their children -
people whom they mold with love, affection, and benevolent scolding so
they can develop into true WTs.
A LOOK AT THE BANGALORE TC
As you probably know, Baba's system is for there to be a school in
coordination with the Didi's training centre in Bangalore. And of
course, it is the Trainer Didi's responsibility to ensure that there is
a balance between the two: Between having trainees work in the school
and study / practice AM ideals.
Unfortunately, with her greedy eyes, the Trainer Didi in Bangalore looks
at the school as being a money earning machine and then neglects her own
duties as WT trainer. That takes a huge toll on our trainees. And that
is why many of the Didis who do "finish training" often end up either
returning to their loakik home or becoming a spoon to various groupist
Dadas.
That is the unseemly plight of many of our Didis in training - because
during training itself they are not given the scope, opportunity, or
teaching to become grounded in AM principles.
Take a look and judge for yourself.
RUSH, RUSH, RUSH TO MAKE A PROFIT FOR TRAINER DIDI
The trainees rise early from their beds, manage their Guru Sakash and a
hurried paincajanya, and then rush off to teach and organise the school.
Hence their morning routine is quickly gone through and the trainees are
hurried off to deal with managing all of the 173 young students in the
school. And there they shall remain till late in the afternoon. When
they finish those trainees are exhausted. In that tired condition they
are supposed to learn AM teaching in the evening. But then again, the
Trainer Didi does not even teach them anything in those evening hours.
Instead she just watches TV. More about that further down in this mail.
Hence the trainees exert all their energy in the school. Each and every
day they are in the school teaching for 8+ hours DAILY. The the proper
standard is 3 hours teaching per WEEK at the school per trainee - not
40hrs per week.
Their time in training centre should be AM based. They should have
multiple classes each day led by Trainer Didi; there should be time for
debate and discussion; minimum 2hrs must be allotted for self-study and
memorization time for each trainee; mid-day sadhana must be practiced.
And there should be a little bit of free time for games and sports etc.
This is the proper way to structure a day in a WT training centre.
But Trainer Didi in Bangalore instead plunges her trainees in working at
the school for hours on end, day after day.
Why? Because trainer Didi has no interest in hiring teachers - she'd
rather use her own trainees as slaves of the school. By that way she can
take in more money, ie. profit. Hence there is no time or scope for our
trainees to pursue AM practices.
Please know that I understand that our TC's must have a school. That is
the system. But Trainer Didi is so money-minded that she gets lost in
the thrill of earning money by exploiting the trainees and totally
forgets that she is supposed to teach her trainees about our AM way of
life.
Unfortunately this is the way that Didi Ananda Madhudyotona (Trainer
Didi) governs the TC. But that is not all - that is not the only arena
in which she is remiss in her duties as trainer Didi. Please read
further for more details.
THE CENTERPIECE OF TRAINING: THE COLOUR TV
Perhaps the most glaring evidence of her neglect towards imparting AM
ideals is Trainer Didiji's fascination with her colour TV. Didi loves to
watch soap operas and serials on her colour television. She joyfully
watches these shows for hours every evening, at the expense of teaching
AM ideals to her trainees. Can you believe such a thing?
As described above, the dutiful trainees rise early, work hard at the
school all day, and then in the evening when at least that time it is
supposed to be for training, instead Trainer Didi brings some or all of
the trainees into her room to watch pseudo-culture on the TV. This is
what has become of our so-called dharmic training system in Bangalore.
This is not just a one time event, but rather a nightly occurrence. Even
other Didis and margiis passing through and staying for a night at TC
have been shocked to see how this is going on. Often they hear Trainer
Didi moan, "I am tired... and do not feel like talking about AM
philosophy, let us all just watch serials." This is the level of her
dedication and interest towards her most important responsibility as WT
trainer.
In that sense she is a bit similar to Ac Ragamayananda in Varanasi who
spends more time listening to cricket matches on the radio than teaching
his trainees about AM. For more about the brothers Training Center in
Varanasi, reference these letters:
NOT JUST LAZY, BUT DEVIOUS
Tragically, and even more hurtful on the personal side, is that Didi
does not just neglect teaching the trainees about Ananda Marga, she is
also known to play favorites. Those who are part of her cherished
community she favours, and those not she tortures.
If some of the trainees are not in Didi's "good book", then Didi will
send them into town via bus before breakfast in order to beg for food
for the Training Center. Those trainees will not be given even one
rupee. And they are expected to beg the whole day for food and supplies
for the training Centre. Nor does Didiji given them money for returning
back. Instead they have to carry or hide the big bags of supplies they
have received and then walk back at 11pm at night. This is the
humiliation and torture those trainees must endure.
In contrast, with the trainees Didi favours, they are given a full
breakfast, then sent to town with enough money for food and given funds
to rent a truck to return back in the early afternoon with all the
supplies.
See the difference in treatment.
This is but one example of many where Didi gives privileges to those
born in her community and tortures others whom she dislikes. She has
also been known to torture those trainees whose family is unable to give
big donations to the TC. Trainer Didi will kick, scold, abuse, and
harass that trainee until that trainee is totally humiliated and
embarrassed - crying and sobbing.
Plus if any trainee is sick, then Trainer Didi will continue to drink
her own two glorious glasses of milk, and she will not even spare half
of glass for the trainee who is sick. Not even one drop.
By all this, it really looks like Trainer Didi in Bangalore has lost not
just her own spiritual flow, but even basic human feeling. She is just
totally money oriented and has no interest in training future Didis, or
so it seems. This is her lowly state.
What else can explain her crude dealing and inappropriate actions
towards her trainees. What else can explain her gross neglect of her
duties as trainer and her commitment to Guru. .
Is it any wonder then that as we speak there are less than a handful of
trainees in Bangalore TC, only 5 trainees are there, as 2 trainees
recently jumped the wall of TC and escaped those awful conditions.
NOT AT ALL A PROPER EXAMPLE
As WT Trainer, Didi Ananda Madhudyotona is expected to shower good will
and knowledge on her trainees. And she is furthermore expected to lead
by example.
Baba says, "Just as it is the duty of a father to educate his children
properly by his good conduct, an a'ca'rya should always instruct by his
exemplary actions and words." (AV-31)
Unfortunately, when she herself is totally engrossed in watching TV
serials about mundane love between the opposite sex, and when she
mistreats her own trainees, and when she is totally money-minded, then
how are our trainees going to grow and spread the ways of neo-humanism
when they graduate from TC.
Our Training Centres should be like islands of dharma on this earth.
Then they would be full of idealistic young people who wish to dedicated
their lives to something great. That is our vision and that is what
could be happening with a proper trainer at the helm.
Devoid of this, our training centres have become like barren wastelands
of neglect and abuse. Such is what has become of the Didi's training
Centre in Bangalore. Yet in the name of that Centre, so much money is
collected from well-intentioned margiis around the globe who are
thinking they are giving their money not to any group camp, but to a
place where new acaryas are born. Little do they know what actually
transpires. If they knew the truth, I do not think they would donate one
penny.
Again, the goal here is not to strangle our Training Centres but rather
ensure they become proper. And for that to happen, the negative things
going on need to be identified, exposed, rooted out, and corrected. Then
our Centres can be healthy once again.
BABA'S WARNING
Here are two critical warnings that Baba has given. These apply
especially to those who lead our WT training centres.
Baba says, "A'ca'ryas must give such inspiration to the people. To take
leadership in society you must be established in yama and niyama in just
such a strict way." (AV-31)
Baba says, "Bear in mind that people may be harmed or misled by even a
small weakness or defect in the conduct of an a'ca'rya." (AV-31)
Unfortunately Didi Ananda Madhudyotona falls way short in both these
regards.
NIGAMANANDJI ALSO AT FAULT
This then brings us to the next step of the puzzle.
How is it that Nigamananda can condone what is going on in our TC's -
both in Benares and Bangalore. These TCs fall under his jurisdiction as
that is his global posting. But instead he pays a blind eye and a deaf
ear and just buries his head in his own group fight.
Dada has even put down that mandate that each trainee must remain in
Bangalore TC for three years - regardless of how much they learn. By
this way he can continue to siphon money from TC by not having to hire
outside teachers. So the poisonous approach of this training centre is
going on in the upper echelons of our organisation. As indecent as
trainer Didi may be, she is not alone in her ways.
No right-minded WT supervisor could tolerate the awful conditions that
are prevalent at our WT training centres. That is why many say that
Nigamananda is not a supervisor in the true sense of the term, but
rather a factional commando.
BABA'S BLESSING
By Baba's grace the day is soon when our TC's will be wonderful building
blocks for creating great leaders in society. That is part and parcel of
our AM mission.
Baba says, "Society requires this type of leader. You boys and you
girls, you are to establish yourselves as developed human beings and as
blessed with the glory of human excellence at the helm of every affair.
Society will recognize you because of your service, because of your
sacrifice. And not only that, everybody is expecting that they will get
your help, your assistance, your guidance, when there is a dire
necessity for the same. You boys and you girls, you should know that I
solely depend on you for the translation of our lofty ideology." (AV-34)

Unruly Free Mixing between Males and Females?
Parama Purusa Baba says, "It does not require the harnessing of any
elaborate logic or reasoning to convince people that the final outcome
of permissiveness is not healthy. But it is also true that the result of
free mixing in society, without self-control, is bad...Hence, along with
the recognition of the freedom of the two sexes, a well-judged code of
self-control will also have to be associated with their mutual mixing."
