Baba
"Kare ja'tra' halo shuru, bhule gechi se katha'..." (699)
Baba, when exactly my journey started I do not know; it is not in my
mind. I have completely forgotten the day when my journey towards You
started. Since many lives, by Your grace You have been attracting me--
step by step.By Your causeless compassion I am moving in that divine liila--
reducing the radius gradually and coming closer & closer to You.
How much I suffered on the way and, how many thorns pierced my feet and
hindered my forward movement on the path-- that I do not remember. Those
memories are not in my mind.
On the journey towards You by Your grace I crossed the torturous fiery
blaze of the burning desert. And other times I got totally drenched from
the pouring rains of the thunderstorms. But, no matter what the obstacle,
by Your grace You always gave me the strength and perseverance to move on.
Baba, by Your grace You are always bringing me close to You.
So many spring seasons and their beauty have come and I got intoxicated
by that attraction. And in Your longing, in Your divine attraction, You
filled my heart with devotion. And by Your grace I sang Prabhat Samgiita
songs and kiirtan with heartfelt yearning and longing. In this way my life
has passed-- sometimes in dark moments and sometimes in effulgent ones.
But through it is, by Your grace gradually I have reached close to You,
under Your shelter. Baba You are so gracious. Baba, You are my
everything...
== TRUE REALISATION OR JUST BAGULA' BHAGAT ==
Namaskar,
Recently one margii put forth his analysis about the current problems in
our organisation. What he wrote is essentially correct, at least on paper.
Now the trick is to see if what this margii has written is (a) something
he has truly realised in the core of his heart, or (b) just a case of
bagula' bhagat, a devious proposition to conceal his inner feeling.
Fortunately, there is a clear-cut way to come to the right conclusion.
IDENTIFYING THE PROBLEM
The margii points out that the main problem with the organisation these
days (i.e. since 1990) is that those holding the posts are not up to the
proper standard.
The margii writes: "Those filling the positions were not selected with
the welfare of the entire Marga in mind, were not trained sufficiently
to do the job, and, most importantly of all, were not held accountable
and given regular feedback from some kind of impartial oversight body."
(10/24/08)
So if really this is the realisation this margii has gotten then that is
great. If really he believes this in his heart then it is quite
commendable.
Because in so many discourses Baba Himself guides us that one cannot be
a sadhu, acarya, or postholder based on their dress or title alone.
Rather they can be recognised by their action, behavior, and conduct.
Then they are a sadhu in the true sense of the term.
Hence, it seems that this margii has begun to realise Baba's directive:
That our leaders must follow AM ideology.
This margii is giving us a hint that he understands Baba's teaching; but
for confirmation, we should now see how far this margii is readily to
apply it in his day-to-day life.
THE LITMUS TEST
As in this year of 2008, this senior margii, Vishvadeva (Oregon USA),
has now understood Baba's teaching that those holding the post must act
according to the mandates of AM, then this same Vishvadeva should be
ready to apply this very understanding to many of the wrongs done since
1990.
Those same group leaders who are in power today have had their hand in
the soup since 1990, in which case bro Vishvadeda should be ready to
admit that many of those organisational orders since 1990 were also
unideological. Once he is ready to come forward on these matters, then
we can all readily say, Vishvadeva has truly understood Baba's
teaching-- otherwise not. Otherwise it will just be a case of bagula'
bhagat, a superficial display done to befool others.
SOME OF THE WRONG DONE SINCE 1990 THAT SHOULD BE OVERTURNED
(I) In 1990, those so-called top post holders unanimously voted to
create the dogmatic Mahaprayan. This crude enactment dictates that Baba
is gone, when in fact Baba always remains with us, in our hearts. Hence
those who claim to understand that the top post holders must act
according to AM ideology, must then be ready to renounce the dogma of
Mahaprayan. One should no longer follow it just because it was decided
upon by some top post holders who went so far as to include the dogma of
Mahaprayan as an appendix to CC-1.
(II) So many injustices against margii rights have been carried out by
top post holders:
A) The Fake BP Manual (1997) was written and imposed on our Marga
thereby making the BP system a hoax and stealing away the voice of so
many margiis.
B) Many innocent and defenseless margiis have been victimised, punished,
and even expelled for pointing out wrongs committed by top Dadas.
C) Fake Ananda Vaniis have been circulated by AM group leaders
undermining Baba's true Ananda Vaniis.
D) The key paragraph about margii rights has been removed from Baba's
original AM Revolution discourse.
E) The ACB has been turned into a mere puppet show run by groupist Dadas.
F) Countless discourses have been distorted by ruling Dadas.
G) And so many injustices and wrongs have occurred; the list goes on and
on.
And all of the above were invented, ordered, and executed by top Dadas
who were holding the top posts.
THE LITMUS TEST: PART 2
So Vishvadeva can look back and reflect on his own life and see to what
degree he followed those dogmatic orders or not.
After all though, past is past; life is full of new beginnings. So now
that he has come to the realisation that indeed those holding the top
posts have not been adhering to AM ideology, then in his own life he
should renounce those dogmas and follow the dharma of AM.
Then we can say his realisation is complete, otherwise, well, it will
just be chalked up as bagula' bhagat: A superficial, devious display to
hide one's true colors.
Otherwise, we might conclude that it is just due to his own personal and
party interest that he is now suddenly blaming that top post holders are
not up to the mark.
BABA'S BLESSING
By Baba's grace more and more are coming to the realisation that AM
ideals must be followed in AM and that those holding the top posts must
adhere to the letter, word, and spirit of Baba's teachings. With this
happening, our Marga is sure to be a great force of dharma on this earth.
Baba says, "You are travellers of an impregnable path. You have to march
ahead proudly with the flag of Marga upright." (SS-1)
Namaskar,

Unique Definition
Baba says, "Art for service and blessedness." (PNS-10, p.2)
Note 1: In the above quote Baba is guiding us that all forms of artistic
expression-- from music to drawing to writing-- are for elevating and
serving humanity and goading the mind to more subtle thoughts. However
in the past nobody could conceive of this beautiful and vast idea,
especially in the west where art has become nothing but a showpiece for
baser propensities. That is in part why Baba's teaching is so unique.
Unfortunately some in our AM family have fallen away from His divine guideline.
Because they are using Prabhat Samgiita just as a means of doing business and
making a profit. To that end, they have changed the tune and melody of many
Prabhat Samgiita cassettes to reflect pseudo-culture ways of doing in order
to boost sales-- all done to earn money. Where they alter Baba's divine
Prabhat Samgiita songs into crude, filmy "love" songs. This is the tragedy
that is going on nowadays. Yet in our AM seminars those same people speak
about the great virtues & deep spiritual value of Baba's Prabhat Samgiita.
Please excuse me, but in that case how can we believe their words when in
their action something else is going on. Prabhat Samgiita is one of His
grand gifts to the humanity, by His grace we will soon propagate is according
to His high ideal of service and blessedness.

O' the Divine Entity! Who are You, since eternity You have been holding
the divine lamp, standing across the cimmerian darkness. Piercing that
Cimmerian darkness, the whole universe is inundated by the flashing sparks
of effulgence which are floating on and on, endlessly.
O' Witnessing Entity, You are fully aware what everyone is thinking, what

== LEADERSHIP ISSUES IN AMPS: SHARED IN A RATIONAL WAY ==
Namaskar,
In the wake of PP Dada's Mahaprayan (death), there is much talk about
how our organisation is to proceed. Whatever may be, we must never lose
sight of the fact that our AMPS structure is built on the pillars of
coordinated cooperation between family margiis and wholetimers. It is
not the margiis are to be forced to take a back-seat role. The
running of AMPS is to be shared in a rational way. That is Baba's
guideline & the below story helps remind us of this.
This is the great boon that Baba has given the BP system whereby family
persons have gotten the opportunity to work side by side in coordinated
fashion. Indeed if this would have been done all along since 1990 then we
would not be facing the situation which we find ourselves in today-group
clash.
Because prior to 1990 it was working but it got diluted thereafter. And the
various groupists are the main cause as they altered all the rules and in
that way the BP system got totally corrupted. Only puppets got the place
and by that way those groupist rulers did to their own liking. Thus with no
control on those various WT groups, it became a power hungry group clash
and the whole scene became total suffocation.
So now we are facing those things. One side because margiis were not given
the opportunity to work in coordinated cooperation. And also because those
exploiters would pushing hard to create subordinated cooperation. So that
is the result and a serious catastrophe has resulted.
The answer of course is that if Baba's monumental BP system were properly
followed then this problem will be solved. Baba is Almighty and when He has
given the system it is our dharmic duty to implement those things for the
universal well-being.
HOW HE GRACIOUSLY STARTED THE BP SYSTEM
After coming out of jail in 1978, our Baba the Sadguru started giving more
& more new programs-- including the system of Bhukti Pradhan (BP). And the
introduction of the BP system, was a revolutionary step for AM society
because in this system Baba has given equal tights to Margiis & WTs to run
the organization with coordinated cooperation.
Until now, in human history, not a single so-called guru could dare to give
equal rights to their family & sannyasi disciples. But Baba has graced us
by bestowing these rights because our Beloved Baba is Tarak Brahma. Yet, in
this situation, some groupist Dadas like Sarvatmanandaji, were internally
upset because they could not digest this idea of sharing the leadership of
the organisation with Family Margiis.
Being all-knowing, the Taraka Brahma Baba was aware about everything that
is going to happen in the future. And HE was also aware how our certain
power-hungry Dadas would curtail all the Margiis rights in future. Because
of that to solve, this problem BABA lovingly played HIS Divine Liila.
BABA'S GENERAL DARSHAN
At that very time, in one simple general Darshan, Baba first started
talking about the Bhukti Pradhan system. During General Darshan, Baba told
that Margiis will feel more responsible with this newly introduced BP
system and that it will be more beneficial for different social service
projects of AMPS. Because when WTs get transferred & new WTs are posted
there, then the general public is not familiar about the newly posted WT.
And in consequence the project suffers a lot-- because of lack of
cooperation from non-Margiis. Other religious organizations rarely transfer
their monks & that is why they have public support. But this brings about
the degeneration of those monks. So in our system, transfer postings cannot
be stopped as this protects the WT's existence.
BP SYSTEM IS ONE SPECIAL BOON FOR ORGANISATIONAL GROWTH
With the newly given BP system if local Margiis take responsibility of
running service projects, then our organization will grow very fast.
Thus with the introduction and implementation of the BP system, the
opportunity is there for both family persons & Acaryas to work side by side
in coordinated cooperation to establish the ideology.
BP'S & SELF CLEANING SYSTEM OF AMPS
Further Baba says because of this unique system of self-cleaning, our
organization (AMPS) will grow in leaps & bounds because if anyone is going
against 16 Pts or ideology, they will be rectified at the earliest. In this
way there will be proper control of WTs by Margiis & due control of Margiis
by WTs. So the conduct of both will be ever-clean & the organization will
go on serving the society-- on and on.
COORDINATED COOPERATION BETWEEN WTS AND MARGIIS
At the darshan, after that, Baba, in a loving & smiling way, addressed all
the Acaryas who were sitting there & Baba said, "You workers (WTs), will
you allow Margiis to work side by side with you in coordinated cooperation?"
All the WT Dadas responded collectively & said, "Yes, Baba." But in certain
cases, some Central Dadas were just mechanically accepting what Baba was
telling because in their heart of hearts they were not pleased to give any
rights to family Margiis.
After that, Baba again in a smiling way asked all the Margiis who were
present there in G.D., "Will you, (Margiis), be able to work side by side
with WT Dadas?"
Then all the Margiis responded with joy, "Yes, Baba."
VARABHAYA MUDRA
Then our Beloved Baba was in a very blissful mood & HE said, "MY sons & MY
daughters are MY two hands & have equal rights. The role of family persons
is from bottom to top & I, (Baba), have made such a system that family
persons are on the Purodha Board also."
After this General Darshan, Baba asked Margiis to sing bhajans. Then Baba
graciously blessed all present with His Varabhaya Mudra. In this way the
General Darshan blissfully concluded & Baba majestically moved towards His
Marga Guru (MG) Quarters.
SOME REFLECTION
Today, PP has passed and many have their eye on ruling AMPS...
...in the present day situation when our organisation is facing serious
crisis. And different factions of Avadhuta groups are trying to balkanise
AMPS. In this crucial time it is the demand of the day that the unique
system which Baba has given-- that margiis and WTs should work side by side
in the Administration-- this should be implemented. Because devoid of this
all these problems are not only coming but they cannot be solved.
This is the time when we have to think again why Baba has given the unique
system that family margiis and WTs are to jointly run the organisation with
coordinated cooperation.
Unfortunately due to extreme lust of power and terrible group clash, after
1990 Baba's system could not get implemented in the real sense. And in the
absence of this, the present day catastrophe has come. But if this system
of Bhukti Pradhan rights had not been curtailed and the system was
functioning properly then surely the present day negative scenario would
not have arrived.
Waiting to hear others' thoughts & opinions.
Here following is Baba's special blessing:
Baba says, "Advance as a vanguard leading the way for others to follow.
This is the true spirit of life, and this is the path upon which your glory
will be established." (AV-8, p. 99)
Respectfully yours,
Jawaharlal

Honey is Eye-Medicine
Baba says, "Floral nectar can be collected from lotus and is very good for
all kinds of eye diseases, including retinal detachment...To extract the
honey, you have to employ the same method as doctors use to extract blood.
This is because many ants and insects feed on the honey. A syringe can
extract it without getting clogged up." (PNS-16, p. 33-34)

BABA
"Andha'r ghare ghumiye chilum, shun'i niko a'lor d'a'k..." - P.S. 2325
Purport:
Baba, I did not listen to Your divine call because I was sleeping in
my dark house. That time my mind was stagnant, dogmatic, and crude. All my
energy was tied-up and stuck; my whole existence was deeply engrossed in
the cycle of earning name and fame, self-glory and appreciation. That is
why I could not pay heed to Your call.
The colourful panorama of Your divine play was going on, but I did not
open my eyes and look towards that. Instead with my crude state of mind I
was thinking that this darkness is very comfortable. And in result I did
not love You. Like that, my 'old' life got wasted in this way.
Then, Baba, by Your exquisite grace, You came with the flow of
effulgence and You transformed my entire existence. You vibrated my whole
being according to Your liking. And You enabled me to realize my wrongdoings
of the past & You brought me onto the proper path. Baba, by Your grace You
have colored my mind with spiritual intoxication and lifted me onto Your
lap. Baba, You are grace personified...

Also read this letter about PP Dada on the AM-GLOBAL blog:
Namaskar,
I have read the recent postings regarding our Purodha Pramukha, Dada
Shraddhanandji. And regarding the different problems which have come in our
organization, in connection with his office.
So I have been thinking about all these things, and
talking to different senior margis, dadas, and didis. Over the course of
these talks and also from my own experience, some things are there. So some
of the various points which have come, I will share with you here.
STOPPED HIS PRACTICES AFTER 1990
Over the years, people have seen that earlier, in the years before '90,
Dada Shraddhanandji was better. He used to do the basic practices. Painca
janya, and so on. But once 1990 came and he was made Purodha Pramukha, all
those things came to an end.
PP's health was not the issue because even in 1993 PP Dada traveled to
Suva sector. So if one can travel to Australia one is surely able
enough to sit in dharmacakra etc, which PP Dada did not do.
Rather ther problem is something different-- deeper.
HOW HE BECAME LIKE THAT
Dada Sarvatmanand made PP Dada like that, by training him to feel that
"I am supreme". And Dada Shraddhanandji seemed to moreover be enjoying
this new status, so the match was suiting in a certain way.
But the outcome was, that due to his self-sensed greatness, PP Dada
misunderstood that he needn't do spiritual practices any longer. And the
combination of these led to a huge ego on his part.
And this tremendous inflated ego, was the cause of PP's degeneration.
It is deeply unfortunate, but all of this was ultimately due to a lack of
devotion on PP Dada's part. Lack of devotion, he did not like to follow
Baba's teachings.
MANY MARGIIS NOTICED
Other margis have written in the past, about some of the various ways in
which PP Dada did not follow Baba's teachings. Like not attending
dharmacakra, not singing and dancing kiirtana, not sitting alongside margis
during guru puja but sitting higher up on special chair. And many other
basic, margi rules of daily spiritual life.
PP Dada's failure to do these above is true; and it is quite serious. I
myself have witnessed many times, those things. So many DMS programs as
well as innumerable other functions of AMPS I have attended over all the
years since 1990. And always PP Dada was doing like this. e.g. not
attending DC, not dancing kiirtan, etc.
And also, flaunting himself in this way or that. It was very sad to see, as
his conduct was not at all befitting of a spiritual person. Certainly not
someone assigned as the head of AMPS. When Margis were chanting 'Parama
Pita Baba Ki Jai!', I even saw him walking down the welcome aisle not
saying anything, with his hands held in 'Namaskar'. As though margis were
chanting for him.
But here I would like to mention some few specific events, which reveal
further how due to lack of devotion since long, many foolish things PP Dada did.
PP DADA'S TRIP TO AUSTRALIA
I remember in 1993, PP Dada went to Australia for a DMS. I did not attend
that particular DMS, as it was abroad and I had many family duties to
attend to here in my local village, in India. But after PP Dada returned
from his tour, he wrote about it at length. And that writing of his was
printed in our AMPS journal, Prajina Bharati.
Here I have before me our AM magazine "Prajina Bharati", PP's own article
called "The DMS in Australia" printed in Feb/Mar 1993 issue, Volume 14, #7.
PP Dada Ac. Shraddhananda Avt. is author of the article, which starts at the
beginning of the Magazine on Page 2.
You should know that Prajina Bharati is the exclusive magazine of the
Tattvika, Acarya, and Purodha boards. Only our respected Acaryas are
permitted to contribute articles as the standard is maintained quite high.
PP DADA'S STRANGE WAY OF WRITING
Respected PP Dada Shraddhanandji wrote his article describing 1993 DMS
Australia in which he was of course the main speaker. PP Dada writes the
entire article in 3rd person, referring to himself as "he". It is quite odd
and puzzling. Until it dawns upon you, how this entire article is one
incredible glorification of PP Dada himself.
PP Dada wrote about the airport, what food he took, what he enjoyed etc
etc. And how Australian margis with folded hands and garland were all
waiting for respected PP Dada. And how when PP Dada reached Brisbane
airport, then devotees, in respect of PP Dada raised the slogan Param Pita
Baba Ki Jai--. Wherever PP visited he wrote and glorified his entire
journey from natural call to time of sleep; how margis cried for him etc.
The main point is that if someone else had written for PP, that would have
been a different thing but the essay has been written by Dada
Shraddhanandji himself. And is written about PP like this - "When PP Dada
reached Brisbane Airport..."
PP Dada Shraddhanandji's article is in Hindi. It is called "The DMS in
Australia" and I have translated his opening para for you. Because, it is
astonishing to see just how our PP Dada glorifies himself. Here it will be
obvious for you, by seeing how he describes his own reception in Australia.
PP Dada begins his article by describing the reception for his arrival in
Brisbane airport;
PP Dada wrote,
"With proper paraphernalia, proper way, with Prabhat Samgheet, Kaoshiki,
and Tandava the reception happened. Margiis were so much intoxicated in the
tune of Baba Nam Kevalam. Common public was seeing this special type of
reception with great enthusiasm."
End of PP Dada's quote.
The sense is that the whole atmosphere, whole vibration created, and all
efforts made were due to the coming of PP. All these things, our PP Dada is
personally writing about himself. Some senior margiis were saying that how
simple our PP Dada is. How can it be possible that PP Dada (the then
President of AMPS Global and Chairman of the Central Purodha Board -- the
highest decision making committee of AMPS), was thinking that margis were
worshipping him instead of Baba by doing tandava / kaoshiki. Each and every
margi knows that in AM, everyone has to follow 16 points. With a view
toward Ista only, and pointed devotion towards Baba.
MORE OF PP DADA'S STRANGE WAY OF WRITING
Please remember Prajina Bharati is a very elevated journal of the Tattvika,
Ac. & Purodhas Boards. Only high level discussion of deep spiritual topics
is permitted. Here I have translated the next paragraph of Purodha Pramukha
Dada Shraddhanandji's article which was published there. He is reporting
about his trip to Australia in 1993. The article is supposed to be about DMS.
PP Dada writes,
"When we reached our ashram it was sunrise. From here I had to go to Ananda
Pali Master unit. This was spread in 110 acres of land. We started by
3:30pm. There females have their own jagriti and they are running school.
The government is appreciating the education system of AM. And it
encourages us. We stayed there for a few minutes and after that we started
for Ananda Pali. From Brisbane, around 2-3 hours, journey to Ananda Pali.
Here roads are beautiful, strong, and wide. Here nobody can drive above 110
km/h. Our vehicles were running 80km/h."
End of PP Dada's quote.
Respected PP Dada goes on to describe in the same style the entire 20 days'
journey. Prajina Bharati has three sections Bengali, Hindi and English. PP
Dada's article consumed the entire Hindi section, more than ten pages.
What was the use of the dignified pages of our valued AMPS publication, to
give information about driving speed and the standard of roads. Like an
aimless traveler's diary who does not have the capacity to put his mind in
the higher realm of social service.
If I may ask, what use of the dignified pages of our valued AMPS
publication for such a purpose of self-indulgence? What dedication of our
limited AM resources of such glorification of oneself?
-Like one person of a remote village who never saw a proper road. It is
surprising that when he will see the roads of Los Angeles in the USA where
the speed is even greater and the roads are even wider the he will become
mad with astonishment. Indeed PP Dada is so simple and he did not know any
better. But this is not a positive reflection on him.
Here I am translating PP Dada's own narration of what happened after his
DMS speech in Australia, at the 1993 DMS.
PP Dada wrote,
"Those who participated in revolutionary marriages, to them Revered PP Dada
gave blessing. And those who were involved in Social Service projects he
gave awards. Everyone took on the responsibility to do good work. And
people were inspired with their responsibilities. Amongst these were WT's
and LFT's."
End of PP Dada's quote.
Our PP Dada wrote this about himself: "Those who participated in
revolutionary marriages, to them Revered PP Dada gave blessing."
Still today I am astonished. That Dada Shraddhanandji wrote such
things about Dada Shraddhanandji himself. What to say about the social
norms of Ananda Marga. PP Dada is totally, shamelessly self-righteous.
Remember, DMS is meant to be an occasion for glorifying Baba. It is deeply
unfortunate PP could not understand this basic idea that our holy
organisation, our AMPS, is made for highlighting BABA.
PP Dada's Australia DMS article goes on and on like this, but I will close
that point here.
OTHER POINTS
So many other examples of PP Dada's vanity from over the years are also
there. I will simply briefly enlist some below:
- PP Dada's Shraddha Suman -- the silly rhymes in which he glorifies
himself. Similar way to how he does above, only he paid someone to put the
lines to music. Around 10,000 such songs are there. And he made our AMPS
dedicate its precious funds for printing these songs of his in books. While
Baba's Prabhat Samgiita are lying unprinted, in the dust.
- In the AMPS Nairobi Sector magazine "Aljiri", PP Dada's multiple large
photos came. Doing various activities. This is against acarya ethics and
conduct guidelines, to focus unduly on oneself.
- In Dada Prasidananda's (alias Dada Maheshvarananda alias Dada
Maheshananda) book "Baba's Love for South America", PP Dada
Shraddhanandji's large photo appears. This is unacceptable in AM WT
guidelines.
- In PP Dada's own autobiography, there is a full-page photograph of PP
Dada's face on the first page of the book. It is one flagrant expression of
vanity.
- PP Dada is confused about Baba's Prabhat Samgiita, and gave fully wrong
explanations in his own autobiography.
- PP Dada has revealed his own confusion about communism and his personal
support for that dangerous philosophy, in his autobiography.
Altogether, respected PP Dada brought his own ruination.
BABA'S WARNING: BEWARE OF DEGENERATION
About this problem of ego bringing degeneration, Baba makes serious comment
in His discourse Shivokti 6.
Baba says,
"Shiva has cautioned people to remain scrupulously aloof from this
dangerous disease of vanity by saying, Aham'ka'rah patanasya mu'lam ["Pride
goeth before a fall"]." (NSS, Shivokti 6)
So ego, or the disease of vanity, is what causes people to degenerate or
fall down.
Baba further explains in this very discourse, the reason why this is the
case. He tells that those with huge egos, think they know everything. And
this belief, stops them from learning anything. -Because they don't think
anyone knows, or can be their teacher. So with this defect, they stop
progressing.
But this is not all. Baba continues, that not only do such egotistical
people not progress. But something more happens. Baba tells that everything
in this world must move. Movement is a must. So the mind of such persons
must also move. And due to vanity they cannot learn, so they cannot
progress. In such a state, the only direction for them to move is down.
With that, their minds move on the path of degeneration. The path of crudity.
Baba concludes on this point, the following about those who have vanity.
Baba says,
"So when one must move, but the path of progress is blocked, one is
compelled to move along the path of degradation. Thus the arrogance born of
this asmita' [mental defect] will lead people towards their downfall. This
arrogance, which makes them want to display themselves, forgetting all
other things, is termed aham'ka'ra [vanity]. (NSS, Shivokti 6)
Such a thing, has happened to our PP Dada Shraddhanandji.
I have full sympathy for him. I have written this letter only to remind,
that no one should do such things. And the outcome is how the PP post
itself got so degenerated. And in consequence, our AMPS organization fell
into deep problem. With overt groupism and fighting.
Despite all the problems, I have full faith that our future is bright. When
Baba has given His grace and assurance, then we know all will move ahead in
the proper way.
In Ananda Vanii #26, Lord says,
"...Hence I call upon you to adorn this crimson dawn deluged with glorious
light. Victory is surely yours."
Yours at His lotus feet,
Ram

Baba says, "All glands need regular and proper exercise...systematic and
rhythmic dances are those useful exercises...In the absence of the proper
exercise of those glands, people lose many capacities at an early
age--especially the capacities of deep thinking and of sustained
recollection...Considering all this--considering the location of the
glands, and the effect of chandas and mudra's-- Shiva invented a unique and
perfect dance: tandava." (NSS, p. 23)

Baba
PS Intro: This following Prabhat Samgiita is a melancholic song. Here the devotee has deep, deep love for Parama Purusa. And Parama Purusa is in the bhakta's close proximity. Even then due to the bhakta's strong love for Parama Purusa, the devotee wants Parama Purusa to come even more close. And it is in that highly devotional state of deep love and longing, that the devotee begins to sweetly accuse Parama Purusa that 'Why are You not coming close'. When in truth Parama Purusa is close but the bhakta wants Him even more close.
It is just like one baby who is sitting very close to their mother but even then the baby is not satisfied. So the baby cries and cries for the mother and calls her all kinds of names. All because the baby wants that the mother should hold the baby tightly in her lap. Then and then only will the baby be satisfied. Such is the deep attachment and love that the baby has for the mother. And if the mother is not responding accordingly, then the baby will accuse the mother that, 'You do not love me the way I love You'.
Same is the relation between the bhakta and Parama Purusa in this song. So no one should take this song literally and think that Parama Purusa is really far away. Rather He is close and the devotee longs to have Him still more close. This is the way love works in melancholic songs. So this is a deeply devotional song.
In contrast, those with lower devotion do not care whether Parama Purusa is very close or very far-- they think that 'He is where He is and I am fine'. This is the expression of a less devotional mind.
Whereas those high bhaktas who have a deeply devotional mind think that 'My Parama Purusa is close but I want Him even more close-- I want that me and my Parama Purusa should become one'. This is the strong yearning of such bhaktas who are ensconced in that deeply loving and devotional state.
"Du'r a'ka'sher niiharika', kon du're roye gecho..." (PS 1099)
Purport:
O' Divine Entity, You are the niiharika' [1] of the distant sky. Why are You remaining so far away in such a distant place. O' my Dearmost, please come close. Please remain deep inside my heart. Baba, You are the jewel of my mind-- I love You. Although You are keeping Yourself distant, You feel the warmth and love of my heart-- due to my strong yearning and longing for You. O' Divine Entity, You are the like the niiharika' of the distant sky; even then I love You.
Baba, our loving and intimate closeness is very intimate, intense, and sweet. Our warm, loving relation has been going on since eternity. Alas, forgetting me, to whose abode and to which divine land have You gone and lit the lamp of love. O' my Dearmost, where have You gone and forgotten me.
Baba, by Your grace I love You so much. All my joys and sorrows are bound up in You. You are my everything; all my days pass thinking of You. Baba, although You are not coming to me, even then with great anticipation I am holding the fragrant reception basket in my hand-- I am holding the garland to venerate You. Baba, I am anxiously waiting for Your auspicious arrival. I am awaiting Your divine presence. O' my Dearmost You are remaining in Your distant abode watching everything. Baba, You see all that I am doing yet You are not coming in the depths of my heart.
O' my dearmost, please grace me by coming close and eternally reside in my heart...
NOTE ABOUT THE ABOVE PRABHAT SAMGIITA:
[1] Niiharika': Literally means nebula which looks like a hazy, white patch in the sky but is really a collection of far distant stars. Here Baba uses this term niiharika' because Parama Purusa is remaining far-- not because Parama Purusa is multiple in number. So the niiharika' term signifies the extreme distance which Parama Purusa is keeping from the devotee.
== "A'TMA KII DIIVALI ==
Namaskar & Happy Diipa'vali!!,
On this wonderful occasion of Diivali, may we all rejoice and celebrate both the social & devotional aspects of this highly significant and spiritual occasion. After all this is one of our recognised AM festivals which is designed to bring a renewal and rejuvenation throughout one's entire existence.
MANY WORSHIPERS OUTSIDE AM ALSO CELEBRATE
Of course Diipa'vali is not just a day celebrated in Ananda Marga. Throughout the vastness of tantric society, Diipa'vali is recognised as a highly meaningful occasion. That is why whether one is a vidya tantric or an avidya tantric, whether one is an idol worshipper or one engages in prayer, whatever type of sadhana one does, Diipa'vali is the day when all sincerely engage in their selected practice. On this occasion, one does more sadhana-- whatever type that may be.
At the same time, most also display fireworks in the external arena; that is also a cultural or social aspect of this event. Because after all 'diip' means 'light' or 'lamp' and Diipa'vali is that occasion which is a festival of lights.
So it is a widely recognised occasion. Yet of course in our Ananda Marga we have our own special, dharmic understanding of this great festival. And here below Baba sweetly describes the inner significance of Diipa'vali.
BABA'S SPECIAL DESCRIPTION OF DIIPA'VALI
As we all know in Caryacarya part 1 Baba neatly outlines all our AM festivals. Plus in various other discourses Baba also talks extensively about so many of these various festivals. And that is the case with Diipa'vali also.
Before we move ahead any further it should be noted that there are various different spellings of this occasion, depending on the language and area etc. Suffice to say here that 'Diipavali', 'Diivali', 'Diipa'vali' and 'Deewali' etc all refer to the same wonderful festival.
And in His June 1990 DMC discourse, 'The Cult of Spirituality-- The Cult of Pinnacled Order', Baba makes special mention of this event.
In this discourse Baba explains how this festival known as Diipa'vali is linked with the enlightenment of the soul. That is the great significance of this day.
Hence Diipa'vali is related with spiritual effulgence, sentientness of thought, and all psycho-spiritual ideas that are linked with light: Igniting the lamp of love for Parama Purusa.
And here below is the original Hindi from this discourse. For those with the English editions of this book-- "Yoga Psychology"-- this section comes on page 136 of the 1991 edition and on page 174 of the 1998 edition. It directly follows the two line Sanskrit shloka, "Phalis'yatiiti vishva'sah...". Unfortunately in both of these English editions, the proper translation of the original Hindi could not be given.
Here then is the original Hindi followed by the correct English translation:
Man ka' jo andhaka'r hai usko hat'a'na' hae.
(The darkness of the mind should be removed.)
Esa' nahin kahana' hai ki ghar-ghar men diivali,
mere ghar men andhera'.
('In each and every house there is a festival of light,
yet my home is dark', one should not say like this.)
Ghar men bhii diiva'lii honi ca'hiye.
(There should be diivali in the home)
Aor ye hae a'tma' kii diivali.
(And it is the diivali of the atma')
So according to Baba's above DMC discourse, Diipa'vali is the idea of cultivating that inner spiritual yearning for Parama Purusa, thereby illuminating one's entire existence with the sweet flow of spirituality. That is, infusing one's soul with the great love of Parama Purusa.
HOW WE SHOULD CELEBRATE
Of course abiding by the Supreme Command, each and every Ananda Margii does sadhana twice a day, at minimum. So it is our regular habit and regular practice to illumine our minds and hearts with that deeply spiritual of flow. This is Baba's grace and His great gift to all Ananda Margiis.
So when the day of Diipa'vali arrives then what are we to do. We are to dedicate even more time to our devotional practices of sadhana and kiirtan-- enabling our existence to better reflect and capture the infinite love of Parama Purusa. By Baba's divine grace may we all pass this occasion in this way.
BABA'S BLESSING
On this wonderful festival of Diipa'vali, let us once again recall Baba's great boon upon all Ananda Margiis.
Baba says, "You should remember why You have been born. Following the path of devotion, you will have to ultimately reach Parama Purusa." (YP, '91 Edn, p.140)
Namaskar,
Giriish
Note 1: DISCOURSE NEEDS TO BE CORRECTED
Both the 1991 and the 1998 printed editions of Baba's famous 1990 DMC discourse, 'The Cult of Spirituality-- The Cult of Pinnacled Order', carry the wrong translation of the original Hindi lines. In English that paragraph begins and ends in the following way:
"In Sam'skrta, gu means 'darkness'...there should not be a
festival of lights...of the soul."
If compared with the original Hindi lines, it is apparent that there are various mistakes and omissions in the English translation of this important paragraph. That is not to say that the idea has been totally misconveyed. But, we cannot say it is a proper translation of Baba's words either. That is why both the grammar and the word selection in the English editions needs to be redone according to Baba's original spoken discourse. As this is a DMC discourse, it was given using a mixture of the three languages (Bengali, English, and Hindi) but the special section about Diipa'vali was uniquely given in Hindi only. And the English translations should be made to reflect Baba's original words.
Note 2: BABA'S PRABHAT SAMGIITA ABOUT DIIPA'VALI
Here is one of Baba's divine songs about Diipa'vali.
"Diipa'valii sa'ja'yechi prabhu..." (PS #63)
'Baba, my Beloved, by Your divine grace I have arranged a row of lamps in Your reception. Please grace me and come inside my heart always with newer and new form and dress. Please come inside my heart with Your gentle footsteps. Please come inside my mind with more song and dance. Baba by Your grace please radiate Your sweet and tender smile-- illumine my entire existence. Baba, by Your causeless grace please come in my world of ideation with rhythm and new effulgence--exuding Your charming vibration...'

Unruly Free Mixing between Males and Females?
Parama Purusa Baba says, "It does not require the harnessing of any
elaborate logic or reasoning to convince people that the final outcome
of permissiveness is not healthy. But it is also true that the result of
free mixing in society, without self-control, is bad...Hence, along with
the recognition of the freedom of the two sexes, a well-judged code of
self-control will also have to be associated with their mutual mixing."

"Tumi saba'r bha'loba'sa' peyecho..." (P.S. 1383)
Purport:
Baba, everyone loves You. And You receive everyone's heartfelt love. You
look upon all with the same eyes-- with no differentiation. You always
think about everyone's all-round welfare. You are concerned with one and
all; everyone is Yours. In the burning heat when life is becoming
unbearable, then You shower us with Your grace. And You take away all
our pains and sufferings. Baba, You are ever-gracious.
When the heart starts bleeding due to the blow of different negative
samskaras from the present, past, and future, then You saturate those
suffering hearts with the divine nectar of Your love. In that way You
graciously take away all their problems in the showering of Your divine
compassion. On the dark amavasya night when it is pouring rain all
around, even that time You bring effulgence through the medium of
firefly. Like this You provide the solution to each and every situation.
It is Your grace.
Baba, You love all and You know how to love. You give utmost importance
to human life. And everyone is looking towards the path of Your arrival.
Those who are crying and suffering, You have given them shelter at Your
lotus feet. Baba, You are granting boons and blessings to everyone. You
are grace personified...
== CRYING IN FRONT OF MIC ==
Namaskar,
At the conclusion of the Ranchi faction's 24hr so-called Mahaprayan
kiirtan in AN (Sun Oct 26), as he stood in front of the mic and
delivered his talk, that esteemed Dada cried & cried in despair and
sorrow, feeling that Baba is utterly gone.
Of course, everyone has full sympathy for Dadaji's condition and
feeling, yet it does bring to light the despondent and dogmatic nature
of the Mahaprayan program.
Why should we celebrate a degrading occasion that leads to mental
darkness: Thinking that Baba is gone.
When in truth, Baba remains always in our hearts. And with the light of
sadhana, this blissful truth can be realised and experienced.
FOLLOWING IS EASY, BUT QUITE DANGEROUS
Following dogma is quite tempting as it is the easiest thing in the
world to do. It takes almost no effort. In comparison, doing sadhana and
realising Parama Purusa within is challenging, but walking up to a stone
idol, doing pranam, and leaving an offering of ghee takes almost zero
effort. That is why millions and millions of people resort to idol
worship each and every day. But it will not bear any fruit; rather it is
harmful.
To engage in idol worship is to push Parama Purusa far, far away.
Because as soon as one forgets the idea that Parama Purusa lies within,
and engages in crude things like idol worship or the dogmatic Mahaprayan
ceremony, then He appears to be so far away and cannot be found anywhere.
Baba says, "He appears to you as per your feelings towards Him. If you
are subtle, He is nearest to you; if you are crude, He is farthest from
you. Do you feel that Parama Purus'a is in Ranchi or is in America? He
is so near as to be in your [“I”] feeling, and so far as a distant
country. When you think He is here, He is nearer than here. He is so
near that it is difficult to measure the distance. You search Him in the
caves of the Himalayas and wander here and there and He is nowhere. But
when you attain awareness of Him, you know that He was along with you in
your search and that He was seated in your heart." (AV-23)
So we should always cultivate the sublime idea that Baba is within us,
then we will always feel His presence.
Unfortunately, when one gets lost in the dogma of Mahaprayan, then one
may helplessly feel that 'Baba is totally gone and abandoned me'. This
is the tragic fate that befalls dogmatic Mahaprayan attendees. And that
is illustrated by our dear Dada who cried & cried about how Baba has left.
Those tears were not tears of love and joy, but rather tears of
abandonment and sorrow. In that case, who is not sympathetic and sorry
to see our Dada became overwhelmed by the negative sentiment of the
dogmatic Mahaprayan program.
BABA'S WARNING
The main point is that we should all pay heed to Baba's warning.
Du'ra't sudure...
Baba says, "If you think that He is very far from you, He will remain
forever beyond your reach. If you think that He is near, He will be so
near that you need not move even an inch to attain Him." (AMIWL-6)
Thus we must utterly avoid dogmatic ceremonies like Mahaprayan that push
Parama Purusa far from our mental plate, and instead encourage the sweet
feeling within that Baba is always with us. For that, we have to do more
and more sadhana.
Here again, in this below teaching, Baba warns us of the ironic nature
of the crude ways of worship like the dogmatic Mahaprayan program.
A'tmanasthiitam' shivam' tyaktva' vahis't'ham' yah samarcayet
Hastastham' pin'd'am utsrjya bhramate jiivita'shaya'.
Baba says, "How unreasonable it is to search externally for the Supreme
Entity instead of searching within! It is like throwing away the
foodstuff in one’s own hand, and then complaining of hunger and begging
for alms from door to door." (SS-12)
Similarly, when Baba Himself resides eternally in our hearts, already we
have Him there, then how ironic it is to celebrate Mahaprayan and fall
prey to the false notion that Baba is far away gone, never to be seen
again.
In that case, we are no different from the beggar who senselessly drops
edible food from his own hand and the goes around town demanding food
from others.
Those who attend Mahaprayan fall into this same category. They overlook
the fact that Baba is within, and get caught in the dogmatic whirlwind
that Baba is gone.
Unfortunately, our dear Dada fell into this trap. That is why when
standing at the mic he was crying for minutes and minutes, expressing
remorse how Baba is gone.
BABA'S BLESSING
By Baba grace, as His devotees we must search Him inside and not
celebrate those dogmatic functions that throw Parama Purusa far away. We
must celebrate Baba's eternal presence in our heart.
Baba says, "When you attain awareness of Him, you know that He was along
with you in your search and that He was seated in your heart." (AV-23)

Note 1: SCENE AT THAT SO-CALLED MAHAPRAYAN CEREMONY
The Ranchi group celebrated Maha'prayan divas on 21st of October in BQ
Ranchi. And there was RDS in AN. So they started a 24 hr kiirtan program
at the Kiirtan Pandal in AN on 25th. They announced that this is because
of Maha'praya'n. Then today, Sunday October 26 afternoon, the kiirtan
finished. It was then that Nirmoha'nanda gave his speech. Nirmoha'nanda
told that Ba'ba' left us alone in this world. We came to Ba'ba' and
Ba'ba' left us. He started crying making sounds and shedding tears for
minutes while at the mic.
Note 2: HE RESIDES WITHIN
Baba says, "Parama Purus'a always remains with you, within the very core
of your heart. So search within, O spiritual aspirant, not without, but
within, within your very existence." (AV-12, p.41)

Population Growth: Very Helpful
Baba says, "Today, capitalists are trying to check the population by
propagating the principle of birth control because the increase in
population will be detrimental to capitalism. In a collective economic
structure one need not support birth control. Rather an increasing
population will be helpful in the production of essential commodities."

Baba
"Madhur mohan tumi cita-rainjan a'cho sada' sa'the sa'the..." (3580)
Purport:
Baba, You are very sweet, most attractive. You have coloured my mind in
Your colour. That is why You are Cita-Rainjan [1]. Always You are remaining
with me side by side. You have removed the despair and filled my heart with
Your love. All the darkness & hopelessness was removed by that light.
Baba, You are beyond the scriptures, intellect, logic, and reasoning,
You are above all these; You are Alakha-Nirainjain [2], beyond description.
Infinite and unblemished. Only You can shatter the bondage of avidya maya--
the mirage of negative attraction-- and grant salvation. Baba, You are the
most charming, the most sweet, my own...
ASTERISK NOTES (*) FOR PS #3580:
[1] Cita-Rainjan: Baba guides us & we all know that devotion is that unique
ingredient which allows one to advance in the spiritual field. Without
innate love for Parama Purusa one can never succeed. By Baba's divine
grace, in His role as Cit-Rainjan, He is that Divine Entity who colours and
saturates the mind of sadhakas in the fountain of devotion. Baba says,
"'rainjana', which means 'the One who colours' - that which colours the
mind." (AV-1) So He is that Cosmic Being who graciously showers devotional
love into the heart and mind of the bhakta. And by such overwhelming Cosmic
grace, the devotee becomes immersed in Supreme bliss and comes in the
closest proximity with that Love Personified Entity: Parama Purusa.
[2] Alakhanirainjan: ('Alakh' means 'invisible'; 'nir' means 'no'; 'ainjan'
means 'black spot'.) Of the infinite attributions of Parama Purusa, one of
which is that He is invisible and blemishless-- totally pure and perfect.
That is why He is known as Alakhanirainjan. Because in this world unit
beings are bound by their past actions, by their samskaras; and this
creates a black mark in their mind. But being Alakhanirainjan, being both
invisible and blemishless, Parama Purusa is totally beyond the realm of
sense perception and beyond the realm of samskara. His mind never gets
stained. He remains eternally pure and spotless.
Namaskar,
Everyone in AM knows that following 16 Points is the greatest endeavour in
life and that by moving along this sacred pathway one is sure achieve the
crowning glory of human existence.
And while all of the 16 Points are important and mandatory, it goes without
saying that that point which is most related with Guru is to be the
considered the most important.
Using this measuring rod, we can say that point #10 of Sixteen Points--
"Non-compromising strictness and faith regarding the sanctity of Is't'a"--
is of the highest significance.
And here below Baba Himself speaks to the great importance of the point of
Is't'a.
Baba says, "If somebody says that he has no "Is't'a", then he is a liar. He
has no courage. Without establishing oneself in his "Is't'a", man cannot
become an ideologist." (23 November 1971 DMC, Purnea)
So according to Baba, if one is not established in Is't'a, then they can
never do anything for the great ideological mission of Ananda Marga. Not
one single thing. This is the stated fact as per Sadguru Baba.
Obviously then it is of utmost importance to become established in the
point of Is't'a. And for that, one must first clearly understand what it
means to be established in Is't'a.
== THE MEANING OF POINT #10 ==
~ THE ALL-IMPORTANT POINT OF IS'T'A: PART II ~
Note: This letter is related with an earlier posting on this topic
IS'T'A POINT: BABA EXPLAINS THE SIGNIFICANCE
By Baba's grace He has beautifully laid down all the Sixteen Points for our
welfare and development. Never before has such a set of guidelines been
given. And each point is very clear and precise, in its own way.
Even then, to understand the exactness of some of the points we must treat
them as a sutra and get further explanation from the broad base of Baba's
divine discourses. Such is the case with the point of Is't'a.
Following that method, here below we can understand what it means to be
established in Is't'a.
Baba says, "When people are established in devotion, they attain a state
called is't'a nis't'a--- devotion for one's goal. In that stage there is
but one dominant thought: 'Whatever I do, be it social, political or
socio-economic service, the motivating thought in my mind will be to please
Parama Purus'a'." (AV-8, p.101)
Hence, the sadhaka who does everything in the service of Gurudev-- to
please Him-- is considered to be established in Ista, otherwise not. That
is Baba's above stated guideline.
So those who perform their actions with the sole intention of pleasing Baba
are said to be esablished in Ista. And this indeed is a very high thing-- a
blessed state.
WHAT USUALLY HAPPENS: SATISFY ONESELF
In this present era, people are generally involved day-long in working for
their own little self. This is the way things happen in the regular
society. Glued to their unit ego, common citizens jut pass their time
running after name, fame, post, money, and prestige etc. Nothing more is
done than that. Such people are just immersed in their own unit desires.
And wherever you look on this earth, there is no shortage of such persons;
they are everywhere: Just involved in working for their own stomach-- for
their own unit being. Obviously such persons have no Ista in their life.
ESTABLISHED IN IS'T'A: SERVE THAT BIG "I"
Of course in Ananda Marga, our approach is different. Our expressed aim is
to please and satisfy our Big "I"-- Parama Purusa. And by that way we can
say one is established in Is't'a. Here below Baba neatly explains this point.
Baba says, "For each and every human being there are two "I's" - two
"I's". The name of a man, say, is Solomon. Then that means the name of his
little "I" is Solomon and the name of his big "I" is Parama Purus´a, the
Supreme Entity. Suppose the name of a little "I" is Joseph, Mr. Joseph. But
the name of his big "I" is Parama Purus´a. That is, the big "I" for all
created being is the same, but the little I varies. So many bodies have so
many names. These names are names of little "I's", but the big "I" is one
and indivisible for the entire universe - there is one big "I". One is for
one Parama Purus´a, one Parama Pita´."
"What is Yoga in the spiritual level? It is to become one with Parama
Purus´a. When you become one with Parama Purus´a, you are getting
everything, but you are losing nothing. You are losing the name of your
little "I" and nothing else and in return you are getting the Supreme "I",
the big "I". This is Yoga in the spiritual sphere." (AV-14, 'What is Yoga')
In a nutshell, we can say that the whole entire concept of yoga is based on
the devotional concept of becoming established in Is't'a. And being
established in Is't'a means doing for the Big "I"-- doing everything to
please and satisfy Him.
INTROSPECTION NEEDED
To ensure that all in AM are safely moving on this path and established in
Ista-- a certain degree of honest introspection is needed. If one just
casually says that 'Yeah, yeah, yeah of course I am doing to please Baba'
but then they just attend to their own unit desires, we cannot consider
that person to be established in Is't'a-- not at all.
Rather with fully sincerity one has to ask oneself if really they are doing
to please Him or not. The easiest thing is to befool oneself about this.
But as sadhakas we must not succumb to such lowly tendencies and
self-deception. Rather we are to take a candid look at our each and every
action and evaluate if we are doing this to please Him. This very process
will invariably help one to become more and more established in Ista.
Whereas if one just falls prey to self-deception about this, they will
float a million miles away from their Is't'a.
So we should carefully evaluate the motive behind our each and every action
and do to please Him. This will surely bring success.
BY FOLLOWING SIXTEEN POINTS VICTORY IS SURE
By Baba's grace when one is working for their big "I" and established in
Is't'a, then they will easily be able to adhere to all of the Sixteen
Points-- in which case their success is sure. This is Baba's sacred
assurance to every A'nanda Ma'rgii.
Baba says, "What is the best way to strengthen the mind? The best and
proper way is to strictly observe the 16 Points. The more rigidly you
follow the 16 Points, the more your mental strength will increase. It will
increase so much that it will be more powerful than the collective mental
strength of 100,000 people. In a psychic clash they will have to concede
victory to you. A person who is physically strong can fight against eight,
ten or twenty people at most, but no more than that. A psychically
developed person, however, is able to fight against many more people. So
you must endeavour to develop your psychic strength - this is your bounden
duty. The more rigidly you follow the 16 Points, the more psychic strength
you will acquire. It will not take you long. The only way to develop
spiritual strength is to surrender everything to Him - the more you
surrender yourself to Him, the more you will develop your soul. Such
development will lead to not only 10,000 people surrendering before you,
but the entire universe." (AV-7)
Namaskar,
Seshagiri
Note 1: ALL ANANDA MARGIIS HAVE LOVE FOR ISTA
Here Baba clearly explains how each and every A'nanda Ma'rgii has devout
love for their Is't'a-- dearest One.
Baba says, "It is said that you have got two "I's". Not these [physical]
eyes, "I". One "I" is your small "I" - "I am going," "I am doing," "I am
the owner." This "I" is your small "I". And another "I" is your big "I".
Parama´tman is your big "I". Smaller "I", bigger "I". You know, so many
entities have so many "I"s and so many "my"s. But that bigger "I" is a
singular entity. All these persons, that is, all the expressed entities of
this entire universe, have got only one "I", one big "I" and that big "I"
is Parama´tman. He is the "I" of all "I"s. You love your small "I" very
much, and unknowingly you love that Parama´tma´ more than you do yourself.
Clear? You have nourished an unknown love for Parama´tman and a known love
for the small "I"s. That love for Parama´tman is unknown. And when one gets
diiks´a´ [initiation] and does sa´dhana´, that unknown love becomes known."

Subject: In Memory of PP Dada
Baba
Namaskar,
The only point I want to emphasize from my initial letter on this topic
is that PP Dada was neither a bad man nor an arrogant man. It was only
due to his extreme simplicity and naiveté that he got convinced to act
as though he was Parama Purusa.
Sarvatmananda Dada and others selfishly convinced PP Dada again and
again that it is in the best interests for the mission to behave like
the Guru. Of course those group leaders wanted PP to be looked upon as
the ultimate authority so that they could cash in on that power by
manipulating him. But PP was unaware about all that. He just got duped
into thinking that was what he should do: Behave like Guru.
Then, in his innocence, PP Dada accepted the role, and then gradually
became accustomed to it.
But the whole idea of behaving that way was not born in PP Dada's mind.
He was neither that arrogant nor that crafty. Certain group leaders led
PP Dada to believe that this was the only way to lead the organisation:
To behave like Guru.
For that reason PP Dada started doing all those things like:
(1) PP stopped raising the Jai slogan, rather he thought all margiis
were raising the Jai slogan for him.
(2) PP stopped properly participating in dharmacakra and instead would
sit on his own seat etc.
(3) PP stopped singing Prabhat Samgiita; rather he would listen as if
the margiis were singing for him.
(4) PP stopped signing kiirtan entirely, instead he thought all were
singing his glory.
(5) PP stopped communicating with margiis and Dadas in a brotherly way.
Instead he sat in his own palace / room 24hrs, as if he was some
Himilayan Guru.
(6) PP stopped eating, drinking, and talking with acaryas and margiis.
(7) PP began writing and publishing his own silly songs as if they were
divine compositions.
So here again, the entire point is that on his own PP had no such
intention to pretend that he was God incarnate, or the like. Due to
negative outside influence, he fell into that unfortunate role. And that
led to the ruination of his career.
Thank you for reading this addendum.
Namaskar,
Manindra

Subject: In Memory of PP Dada
Baba
PS Intro: In this following song the devotee is lying at Baba's lotus
feet, ensconced in a'nanda (bliss). And in that deeply devotional
atmosphere, the sadhaka is desperately calling to all jiivas to also
come close to Baba, the Parama Purusa incarnate, and have His darshan
and get His blessing.
"Ba'n'sga'rii bahiye ja'y, saha's nayane ca'y
Goloker hari a'ji gokule liila' raca'y..." (P.S. 3658)
Purport:
Today, the Hari of the divine world has manifested His liila in the
land of devotees. With His sweet grace He is moving all around playing
His divine flute-- showering His charming smile and gracious eyes upon
all. With reddish lips, He is beckoning each and everyone. He is
telling: 'Come close, come to Me-- quickly, as soon as possible, come
running, so we can be together up to eternity'. Today that Hari of the
divine world is showering bliss on everyone. We are so graced.
Everyone is His kith and kin; all are His own; nobody is alien. No one
is far; everyone is close. All are His most intimate ones. By His grace
everyone gets Him in their thinking, japa, and meditation. Everyone
resides in His mind; everyone has a place in His heart. By His causeless
grace, now the river of devotion is flowing at high current. His divine
rasa is dancing, overflowing, & splashing in ecstasy. With His
fathomless grace the garland of waves is swaying to and fro. All are
ensconced in His bliss.
For crushing the dus't'a (demonic people) and for saving & nurturing
the virtuous & dharmic people and for destroying the nefarious and
deadly demons, He comes again and again on this earth with the rumble,
twang, and beating of His kettle drum. There is no one else on this
earth who has such infinite and countless qualities. That Hari of the
divine world is the abode of all heavenly attributions.
Come one, come all. The Lord of the universe has come today with
gracious splendour, and He is showering His divine liila upon all
devotees. He is most loving and ever-gracious...
Namaskar,
In the wake of PP Dada's recent passing, we are all forced to think how
our innocent Dada Shraddhananda met such a fateful downfall.
Indeed, it was under his supposed leadership, that our entire
organisation crumbled to pieces. PP Dada was a rubber stamp for so many
groupist decisions, shenanigans, and power plays.
We must ask, 'How on earth did such a thing happen?'.
== IN MEMORY OF PURODHA PRAMUKHA DADA ==
Please be sure to read the addendum to this letter:
http://am-global-01.blogspot.com/2008/10/in-memory-of-pp-dada_25.html
SOMEONE CONVINCED HIM HE WAS GOD
The main problem with PP Dada began when he got convinced by one
infamous & notorious group leader that, 'You (PP Dada) are on par with
God'.
That factional head coaxed PP into believing this falsehood, until
finally PP's every demeanor became a false show of being the Lord.
Of course, with our Ista mantra, we all meditate on being God, yet in
our daily life we must be cognizant of the fact that we are jiivatman
and have much work to do and many improvements to make. We cannot just
think, 'I am God and therefore I am totally divine in each and every
regard'. That will not work.
But due to the prompting of one group leader who for his own power
wanted to make PP into a veritable deity, and because of the
susceptibility of his (PP's) own ego, PP Dada really began to think and
feel, 'I am God and therefore I am totally divine in each and every
regard'.
Proof being:
(8) Etc, etc, etc
In so many ways, PP just removed himself from the devotional, social,
and spiritual practices of Ananda Marga and begain thinking of himself
as being above all that. Because he got duped into thinking that he was
a veritable god. Sarvatmananda beautifully convinced him of this falsehood.
BABA NEVER TOLERATES FALSE VANITY
However, in the kingdom of Parama Purusa, excessive arrogance and false
vanity are never tolerated. Rather one must meet their fate. And that is
exactly what happened with PP Dada.
IRONY OF IT ALL
In his desire to enhance his prestige, PP took on the role of playing
God. He thought all would honor him and that life would be wonderful.
And in a superficial way, this happened for a little while. But nothing
false lasts forever.
History now bears testimony that so many wrongs, injustices,
distortions, fights, punishment postings, expulsions etc happened with
PP's own signature.
Indeed, what started out as an seemingly innocent and harmless desire
for prestige turned into a tragic, if not disreputable end. This
tumultuous period from 1990 to 2008 will be analysed again and again by
margiis, Dadas, Didis, committee members, social thinkers, and
historians, and all those interested will come to the same conclusion:
PP was blinded by his post and was kidnapped by groupist leaders.
In that case, PP's desire for enhanced prestige will lead to his name
being dragged around in the mud-- permanently so. PP Dada's record will
stand as the premier negative example of how not to occupy a post. Time
and again in future, if anyone acts like a monkey in their posting, then
they will be reprimanded with the statement, 'Oh look, this silly fellow
is just like the first PP'.
So that is the irony: Instead of embellishing his name, PP's name has
tragically fallen in the opposite direction. He was not a malevolent man
per se, but his lust for name and fame- i.e. his egoistic desire to be
worshiped as as god-- led to his downfall.
NEXT PP MUST NOT FALL IN THIS SAME TRAP
For the sake of our organisation and for the sake of the welfare of the
one occupying the PP post, we should take every recourse imaginable to
ensure that the next PP does not fall into the same trap. The next PP
must act and behave like an Ananda Margii, not falsely imitate Guru.
And we must not allow the next PP to become like a sponge or spineless
being in the hands of power hungry group leaders.
Finally, we must not let ourselves slip into the false notion that the
next PP is some type of savior or deity etc. Some margiis thought that
about the first PP and look where that led us.
If we pay heed to all of the above, then by Baba's grace then the next
PP will not repeat all the horrors of the first PP. And our Marga will
have opportunity to flourish.
BABA'S BLESSING
By His grace we all want our AMPS to become great once again, but that
can never happen if we have a second PP like the first one.
Baba says, "Workers should have dignity of the labor, and not dignity of
the post..." (Point #33 of '37 Worker's Rules')
Namaskar,
Manindra

Unique Quality of Human Beings
Baba says, "The human mind has two functions--thinking and memorizing.
The more the thinking capacity increases the more the power of memory
develops. The nerve cells also change, leading to a corresponding change
in the nerve fibres. These changes create a stir and a revolution in the
world of thought." (PNS-8, p.17)

Baba's Grace is Everything
PS Intro: This Prabhat Samgiita is the expression of a pointed devotee. For
such a sadhaka, Parama Purusa cannot be shared with others.
"Kakhan tumi ele a'ma'r ghare, ta' ki keu ja'ne na'..." P.S. 4373
Purport:
Baba, it is so surprising that when You came to my home then no one
could know. By Your infinite grace and compassion, You changed my entire
life and filled it with charm & splendour. It is Your grace. Yet it is
surprising that no one could understand what is the reason behind this. For
them You may be far distant but You are always with me-- colouring my whole
existence in Your own divine colour.
Baba, can no one else understand the sound of Your sweet attractive
flute. My days are coming and going; my nights are coming and going; time
is passing like this in the waves of Your bliss. Baba, You have made my
mind saturated in Your ideation, in Your thinking, in Your flow. It is Your
grace. O' my Dearmost, always I am attracted by Your love. You are always
smiling and showering grace. How is it that others are not understanding...
== STORY: PARTICIPANTS OF DOGMATIC MPD ==
Note: This year again the Tiljala camp is glorifying their dogmatic Mahaprayan\
program. Here is a personal story for us all to consider...
Namaskar,
One time I went back to my village and I learnt that my uncle, Harihara
Dasha (a non-margii) had been to Tiljala to attend our Gurudeva"s shraddha
function.
I asked him how he could attend it. He replied, "What a huge gathering! 24
hours the people were taking delicious food! 24hours kiirtana was going on!
A group of about 200 persons from our village & around our village led by
Bhaskar Jena went to Kolkata by train in a rally in the name of Proutist
Sarva Samaja Sammelan (a badge was given to everyone of them in lieu of
rs.10 only). We were fed nicely. We performed your kiirtana for a few hours
on those days & the rest of the time we spent visiting different sites in &
around Kolkata."
He showed his gratitude to Ananda Marga because of free lodging & boarding
provided by the organisers.
WHAT WE LEARN FROM THIS TRUE STORY
From the facts mentioned above it is quite evident that non-margiis are
brought to the function held in Tiljala from 21st Oct to 26th Oct every
year. They're allured or attracted by either free boarding & lodging for
six days by the organisers to observe such a dogmatic function.
MAHAPRAYAN IS A DOGMATIC CEREMONY
Whatever it is named as Mahaprayana or shraddhanjali or samkalpa divas the
non-margiis will name it "Shraddha", which is called as Dogma by Ananda
Marga philosophy. On such shraddha ceremonies the Hindus feed the people
freely, and donate clothes or valuable articles to their guests and the
public. In such functions "harekrshana hare rama" propagated by Shrii
Chaitanyamahaprabhu is sung by hired professional Kiirtana groups.
A CASE SCENARIO: MORE ABOUT THE DOGMA OF MPD
Now let's suppose someone is traveling by train or flight to Kolkata to
attend Mahaprayan Divas (MPD). If one co-passenger asks him about his
purpose of visit, he will definitely reply that he will attend Mahaprayan.
Then immediately the co-passenger will question 'What is mahaprayan?'
The traveler will explain, "On this particular day our Gurudeva left His
physical body, so we call it Mahaprayana."
Then that co-passenger will conclude by saying "Oh! You are going to attend
Shraddha ceremoney."
Here the point is that no matter what, if instead of Mahaprayana and
Samkalpdivas is named to this day, still then outside the marga it will be
termed as shraddha or death anniversrary.
Yet we know how Baba has condemned this dogmatic shraddha ceremony in
AV-III. Plus in Caryacarya He has clearly mentioned that our AM shraddha
function should be observed on any day within 12 days of the death of
deceased person.
PHYSICAL DISAPPEARANCE ALREADY OBSERVED
IT SHOULD NOT BE REPEATED ANNUALLY AS MPD
One Dada has recently correctly written that "Ba'ba' is Taraka Brahma who
is a personal entity-not impersonal entity." For personal entities shraddha
should be observed within 12 days. It is a fact we've already observed on
29th October,1990. Therefore it shouln't be repeated.
POST 1990 HISTORY OF DOGMATIC SHRADDHA IN OUR MARGA
All are aware that Maha'prayan'a literally means 'Great Departure', but
commonly means 'death' of any mortal being.
Our Revered Sadguru, Lord Shrii Shrii A'nandamurttijii, left His physical
frame on 21st October 1990 & His physical body was cremeted on 26th October
1990.
After this when it was announced by A'c Devashraddha'nanda Avt that
shra'ddha function would be held in Tiljala with all the units around the
globe on 29th Oct'90. The then general secretary A'c.Sarvatmananda shouted,
"Not shraddha, say Shraddhanjali". Then it corrected as Shraddhanjali.
At that time, I thought, 'Baba might have mentioned about the difference
about Shraddha & shraddhanjali in Varna Vicitra or shabda cayanika.
Sarvatmananda must be knowing better because he was very close to Him.'
But still today, till now I am searching for it in Baba's books, and I
couldn't find it.
Every year some followers are observing a get-together in the name of
Mahaprayana along with non-followers of Anandamarga in Tiljala for six days
from 21st October to 26th Oct. The question arises "Whose Great Departure
takes place every year in Tiljala?"
BABA'S BLESSING
By Baba's divine grace He alone is the infinite, eternal Entity who is the
Goal and by His grace He resides forever in the hearts of His devotees.
Those who celebrate the so-called Mahaprayan programme should give up their
dogmatic habit and instead come onto the path of bliss and realise His
Divine and Eternal Self. Parama Pita Baba Ki-- Jai!!
Baba says, "The one formless, beginningless and infinite Parama Brahma
(Supreme Consciousness) is the only entity to be attained by living
beings-- That alone is Jagat Guru (the Supreme preceptor), That alone has
revealed Brahmavidya (intuitional science) to us through the medium of the
name and form of Anandamurtijii. Unit beings must be made to appreciate Its
majesty." (CC-II p.1)
Namaskar,
Panda
Note 1: GROUP INTEREST IN MIND
Certain dogmatic leaders do this dogmatic MPD event because they get
economic benefit etc and they get some followers. This we all know. For
that reason they are willing to propagate the Baba is gone, and along the
way they fool some naive and innocent margiis who participate in their
dogmatic programme. It is Just like how crude Muslim and Christian leaders
have lots of followers. The followers naively follow the dogmatic edicts of
those religious leaders. That is the way those religions work. Same thing
with the dogma Mahaprayan. However, as more and more margiis understand
that Mahaprayan is anti-Baba, then they give up attending this dogmatic
programme. And that is what we see happening nowadays.
Note 2: PARAMA PURUSA RESIDES IN THE HEART
It is Baba's infinite grace that He always remains in the heart of His
devotees. When this eternal fact is known, then what is the question of
going to dogmatic MPD program and think that Baba is gone. Because that is
what MPD says. Rather we should adopt the devotional cult and seek Him
within-- realising that He is always with us.
Baba says, "Parama Purus'a always remains with you, within the very core of
your heart. So search within, O spiritual aspirant, not without, but within,
within your very existence." (AV-12, p.41)
Note 3: HE ALWAYS REMAINS WITHIN US
In Ananda Sutram Sutra 2-10, Baba describes this eternal truth. That
Parama Purusa is living 24 hrs with devotees and one should not search HIM
outside by avoiding His presence inside the mind.
[2-10] Otahprotah yoga'bhya'm' sam'yuktah Purus'ottamah
"Purusottoma, the Nucleus of the universe, is the witness of and is
directly concerned with every unit entity."
And in Karma Yoga book, Baba says:
Madbhakta Yatra Gayanti Tatra Tist'hami Na'radah
Baba explains, "Where My devotees laugh, cry, sing and dance and remain
intoxicated in my name at that place only I love to remain."
It is clear from the above shloka and explanation by Baba, that Parama
Purusa lives in the hearts of devotees. Where they sing kiirtan He remains.
As we know Baba in Prabhat Samgiita number 4425 Baba wrote like this. Baba
says,
"Vrnda'vanam parityajya pa'damekam na gaccha'mi..."
"I am always eternally present in Vrindavan, in the hearts of devotees.
That is Guru cakra. I do not go even a little away from that. I am
eternally present along with the devotees."
*****************************************
Not Good but Great
Our ideal in life is not to become good, but rather great. That is our
endeavour: We must stand for the ways of dharma and not less than that.
Baba says, "There are many good people in the society-- noble people
engaged in noble deeds-- who are not ready to fight against wrongs and
injustices. This sort of passive benevolence does not promote the cause of
human progress in the world. What is desirable is to acquire virtue by
doing noble deeds and fighting against all sins and crimes. Both are
mandatory, both are an integral part of dharma." (AV-8, p.51)

Subject: Reflection on our Late PP Dada
From: CJ Phillips
Baba
"D'eke ja'i sa'r'a' na' pa'i, e ki kat'hin hrdaya..." (P.S. 3184)
Purport:
Baba, I go on calling You, but I never get any response. Your heart is
tough. You do not care about my longing; that is why You never respond.
Sometimes You come close and sometimes You go on smiling, keeping Yourself
distant. What type of drama or divine play is this.
With the melody and rhythm of the dance, You go on floating like a tidal
wave in the ocean. In all the ups and downs of Your various vibrations I
always feel Your sweetness.
Baba, in all the ages You are; You remain all the time; You never get
lost. You are also present in those memories which have already faded away.
There also You are. You are ever-present in the nucleus of everything,
manifested or not manifested. Everything is saturated with Your love, Your
grace. Baba, You love me and You want to listen to my call again and again,
that is why You do not respond. This is one way of Your loving expression.
Baba, I surrender everything unto You...
== REFLECTION ON OUR LATE PP DADA ==
Namaskar,
With the passing of PP Dada, we should take a moment to reflect upon his
conduct as PP. What did he do right; what did he do wrong. And how did this
affect the organisation. This will help us better understand the dynamics
of the PP post as well as how the new PP should behave.
PP POST IS SOCIAL POST; REV BABA IS SPIRITUAL HEAD
In our Caryacarya, Baba has given the provision about Purodha Pramukha.
Among all the social posts in the organization, Purodha Pramukha is the
most powerful social post. For example:
(A) All the organizational executive decisions must reach to Purodha
Pramukha for his discretionary and final judgment.
(B) PP's post is for whole life long.
(C) In the Purodha Board, PP's single vote has decisive meaning.
(D) Each of the judiciary decisions also must reach to Purodha Pramukha for
his final approval.
(E) So many more rights he has.
In a single word it can be said that the Purodha Pramukha post is the
highest social post in our Ananda Marga Pracaraka Samgha.
But of course, as everyone is aware Baba being the Guru is the spiritual
head of Ananda Marga.
ONE MUST FOLLOW DHARMA
Baba warns in his various discourses that nobody should go against the
dictates of dharma. Because,
(A) "Svadharme nidhanam' shreya paradharmah bhaya'vahah"
Following one's own dharma and dying, is better than following animal
dharma. Because treading on animal dharma is horrifying. It invites one's
own annihilation.
(B) It is also said, "Dharma raks'ati raks'itah." Dharma saves those who
follow dharma. And those who go against dharma, they invite their ruination.
This above Baba's teaching gives this feeling, that whosoever may be, if
going against the guideline of dharma. They invite their degeneration. In
case of our late PP Dada, we have no right to overlook the situation
because it has affected one and all. Inside, as well as outside Ananda Marga.
REASON BEHIND THE DOWNFALL
So we should see that, what happened to PP? Why he die he lose his social power
and status amidst the current group conflict? What wrong did he do.
The point being that the new PP should not commit such mistake(s) and
invite their own degeneration as has happened with our late PP Dada.
The sense is that the Purodha Pramukha post has very strong power. But our
latest our PP was powerless. How did this happen? What
is the cause behind this? What happened to PP Dada, that brought this
unfortunate situation?
Despite having all sorts of organizational power, he became
like one sheep. Under his nose, the whole organization fell apart.
And he helplessly witnessed it all. So here, the critical point is: How did such a
powerful post became useless, meaningless. And that post just got
exploited.
The answer is simple. PP Dada did not follow Baba's dictate of dharma.
Although all the senior Margis are aware about this, but it is our
collective duty to not allow this to happen to the next PP. So it needs
reminding how Dada Shraddhanandji lost his authority and how he became
powerless. What was the hidden reason.
It is obvious that these following points which are Baba's dictates.
But Dada Shraddhanand disobeyed and in result, we see what happened. The PP
post had no dynamism or power.
It is the same as when the life force is gone from the structure. Then
superficially looking all the organs and limbs are present. But it is
treated as a dead body. Unfortunately, that situation PP Dada created for
his own-- by not obeying Baba's divine guideline.
Please also know that this is not just about the situation of recent months, but
rather the history that since '91, when Dada Shraddhanandji became PP & he was strong
and healthy and travelling all around the globe, even then PP Dada Shraddhananda
was not following basic aspects of bhagavat dharma which are mandatory
for each and every Ananda Margii.
GOING AGAINST THE CODE OF BHAGAVATA DHARMA
Since 1991, these dharmic points noted below wer not followed by PP Dada:
(1) PP Dada did not attend any Paincajanya.
(2) PP Dada never attended any collective kiirtan program.
(3) PP never attended any dharmacakra program.
(4) PP never sang Prabhat Samgiita. Instead he created his own silly Tuk
Bandi, or haphazard collection of words.
(5) PP was an ordinary human being. Even then, foolishly he treated himself as
a God incarnate as if he did not need not to do collective Guru puja sitting on same
level according to Caryacarya because, according to the rules which Baba
has given, Parama Purusa is one and we are all His disciples. Even PP. Nobody is
in between God and human beings. The age-old dogma propagated by Islam, Christianity
and dogmatic Hinduism is that there is a medium between disciples and God.
That very dogma has been rooted out and thrown awayin the garbage bin of AM.
But PP still involved himself in that dogma. Because he always sat on the dais,
and did not come down to the same level to do guru puja according to the
commands of Caryacarya.
How painful it is that in Caryacarya part I Baba has clearly written, that
(a) to follow dharmacakra, (b) do Guru puja sitting in same level, and (c)
to follow paincajanya are fundamental duties of Ananda Margiis. But PP Dada
thought himself to be above all this. And that led to his downfall.
IN AM CONDUCT IS THE MAIN THING
As we know, in AM, conduct is the main measuring rod.
And Baba says, "Your ideal is represented by Your conduct". (AV #13)
Although PP Dada was the designated social head of AM, he could not
follow so many basic, fundamental required duties of Ananda Margiis.
PP DADA THOUGHT THE JAI SLOGAN WAS FOR HIS OWN GLORY
(6) How painful it is that PP Dada enjoyed receiving "Parama Pita Baba ki
Jai" slogan. He never participated. All Margiis & WTs feel blessed by
raising "Parama Pita Baba ki Jai" slogan. But since 1990 nobody saw PP Dada
once even raise this slogan Parama Pita Baba ki Jai. When the slogan is raised,
then PP would fold his hands and smile as if he were Baba.
That is why many senior Dadas were commenting that PP Dada lost his sense of
right and wrong.
There are innumerable aspects how PP Dada wazs not following 16 points, so he
lost his senses and simple problems became chronic. And step by step he just
became the tool or punching bag of various group leaders.
So it is clear then that, so many dharmic points PP Dada did not follow.
And due to this, chaos occurred on inside our AM, mostly done in the name
of PP.
INNER WEAKNESS
This all happened because of PP Dada's inner spiritual weakness-- due to
his dislike for following Baba's guidelines and 16 points. As a result of
which, he could not be a proper leader for AM and maintain the spirit of
unity among one and all.
Had PP Dada followed Baba, these things would never have happened.
Rather, these problems would have been solved. So PP Dada Shraddhananda's
going aginst Baba's dharmic mandates is the main cause-- nothing else.
Keeping this view in mind strict vigilance is needed in the selection of
a new PP.
BABA'S BLESSING
Baba says, "...Through clashes and conflicts one must move towards the
Supreme Desideratum...Keep moving onward, singing the song of the forward
march." (AV #65)
Namaskar,
Cinmay
Note: AN EXAMPLE OF SHRADDHA SHUMAN
Instead of following dharma and learning Prabhat Samgiita, the idea was put
in our late PP Dada's mind that he should compose his own songs. That was
Sarvatmananda's plan in order to deify the post of PP. And our late
PP Dada fell into this trap.
The following is one Shraddha Shuman song of our late PP DadaShraddhanandji.
It is one of the thousands upon thousands of songs which PP Dada composed and
published using AMPS funds.
Rather than promoting Baba's divine songs of Prabhat Samgiita, huge money and
effort went into promoting these silly compositions by PP Dada.
By reading the below, it will be clear why many say that that the late PP Dada's
songs are "Tuk Bandi" i.e. foolish rhymes.
The words in Bojpuri language appear first. Each line is followed by the English translation.
SHRADDHA SHUMAN Song, #8224
(1) TV ke aviska'r se, ketana suvidha ho gaili ba'
With the invention of TV, it became very comfortable
(2) Ghar hi vaithal log, sa'ri ghatana'ke jani ja't ba'
Sitting in the house, people get all the news
(3) Duniya'n men ketana' liila, krida ho rahal ba'
So many games and sports are going on in the world
(4) sabh log unhaninn ke Dekhi rahal ba', a' suni rahal ba'
Everyone is watching those games and listening also
(5) Katahin natak katahin mahabharat, katahin ramayan ke dekat ba'
Some people are watching drama, some serials, some mahabharat plays, some
Ramayana
(6) ketana manohar drshy ba', dekhe men acaraj lagat ba'
I feel surprised while seeing this on television, how beautiful it is.
(...This is the end of PP Dada's song about "watching television".)

Health Guideline: Impotency is on the Rise
These days around the globe in so-called advanced countries impotency is on
the rise. In western countries, impotency is not very uncommon. Proof of
this is that adoption agencies are earning a lot of money; they bring
children from very poor areas like Africa, parts of Asia, free of cost and
sell them to Euro-American countries for thousands of dollars. But the main
problem is that impotency & infertility are on the rise. Here Baba gives
the causes as well as the solutions.
Baba says, "If excessive waste of semen occurs due to the bad habit of
masturbation during adolescence or youth, or due to lack of restraint in
married life, the seminal fluid becomes thin and the symptoms of seminal
weakness appear. This is also a kind of sexual debility, and it is called
seminal infertility."
"A serious lack of sexual restraint will make the nerves of the pelvis and
genitals weak or damaged...This is called genital impotency."
"As I have already said, impotency and infertility, in most cases if not
all, are diseases of over-indulgence; so one should keep control over their
thoughts and actions. The male should stay away from feminine company as
long as the disease is not fully cured." (YT, p. 55-6)
Note 1: Those suffer from this should take it very, very seriously. And
others must understand so that they can help educate and serve the
suffering masses. I have seen so many people who do not know these
beautiful rules of Baba and they invite danger.
Note 2: Because of this the population growth is decreasing in various
countries.
