NEWS: FIGHT BETWEEN RUDRANANDA & NIGAMANANDA FROM RANCHI TO BERLIN

Namaskar, Here is a behind-the-scenes account of the drama within H group regarding the planning and preparation of the recently held summer 2010 DMS in Berlin sector.

INCREASING TENSIONS OVER THE LAST YEAR

For the last 6 months, 1 year or even longer, H group Dadas Rudrananda and Nigamananda have been harsh rivals - never speaking to each other in a personal way and just leg-pulling and backbiting each other, as well as criticizing one another behind the back. Their entire rivalry is based on grabbing power and trying to gain support from other workers in an effort to increase their own strength and political position. Rudrananda and Nigamananda share a common room in Ranchi to show to the margiis that they are united, but they never go there at the same time. They never talk to each other either. On certain occasions they talk in official meetings, but on a personal level, or one-on-one, they never talk. They have come to hate each other. Thus their struggle as to who would accompany PP Dada to Berlin sector for the DMS was quite bitter.

PLANNING FOR SUMMER DMS 2010 IN BERLIN SECTOR: PP'S SURPRISING SELECTION

For some time, H group personnel had their sights set on holding a DMS in Berlin sector for the summer of 2010. All kinds of plannings and preparations were in place, but in the critical hour, the so-called PP Dada Vishvadevananda rejected the plan for Rudrananda to attend. Instead Nigamananda got the green light to go. This was a shocking turn of events. Rudrananda became totally frustrated and furious and vowed to fight back - in his own sweet-talking sort of way. Before going into all the details of Rudrananda's state of affairs, it has to be explained why PP selected Nigamananda to accompany him. In a nutshell, Nigamananda has GS Dada Dhruvananda in his pocket. As you probably know, GS Dada is very ill right now and basically incapacitated - his brain is not working. In the name of GS, Nigamananda had it ordered that he (Dada N) should be the representative to accompany PP to Berlin sector. Because whatever Nigamananda suggests is what GS approves. In that way, Nigamananda got the vote to go. PP Dada - who is supposed to be a neutral pawn of both Nigamananda & Rudrananda - sided with GS Dada's so-called decision. Why? Because PP Vishvadevananda is not the legal head and has no power in the eyes of the law; GS Dada is the legal head. Thus when Nigamananda's name was put forth by GS, then PP did not want to challenge that as he did not want to risk his own stature should it go to the courts. In sum, PP felt he could not reject GS Dada's proposal of appointing Nigamananda to go to Berlin as the special envoy. This set off a fire in Rudrananda's mind. Here it should be noted that both Chitpavanananda & Ranjneshwarananda - both of whom are cadre of Nigamananda - helped reject Rudrananda's application. After all, somebody had to be rejected - Nigamananda or Rudrananda - because when they are such fierce rivals and not on speaking terms, then it would not have been possible for them both to accompany PP Dada to Berlin sector for DMS. So PP rejected Rudrananda so as not to deviate from the desk of GS.

RUDRANANDA GOES ANYWAY & CARRIES OUT HIS OWN PLAN

But Rudrannadaji, well known to all for his rigidness, secretly went to Sweden and stayed there for a month. This was done out of reaction, but also with a plan in mind. By going to Sweden, Rudrananda prepared the field so he could increase his own power. He held many meetings with different groups of people - he even had a conference meeting with a few didis from different sectors: Didi Tapasuddha (GT Sector), Didi Rupadhara (NY sector), Didi Danvrata (Berlin sector), and Didi Manika (Berlin Sector). Rudrananda gave them assurance that in near future that he, as the H group leader, will give them high posts and make them SWWS of their respective sectors. By this tactic Rudrananda won the trust of such Didis. He promised that he would throw out those few top Didis who sided with Nigamananda's party.

MORE ABOUT HIS WORKING STYLE: HOW RUDRANANDA HAS TAKEN THE DIDIS

In essence Rudrananda is employing the same strategy as Tirthanand (EC) did: Take Didis in hand. So by now, Rudrananda has almost taken almost all the H group / Ranchi camp Didis in his hand with help of his gunda dadas. Rudrananda told them to establish sentimental links with all the Didis - and at the same time Rudrananda has promised them that they will become SWWS of their sectors, respectively. In addition, some of the top central Didis also are in Rudrananda's palm. The H group Didis are basically led by Ananda Dyotona and Ananda A. But Rudrananda has captured all of them in his sentimental grip - all except Ananda Dyotona who has a soft spot for Nigamananda. **By this way Rudrananda is creating big problems for the present SWWS of Berlin sector, Didi Ananda Praveda, because she is also one of the few followers of Nigamananda and Ananda Dyotana. So Rudrananda is very cleverly trying to throw her out from the Berlin sector and install Ananda Danvrata (presently in Norway) as the head Didi of the sector. Basically Rudrananda is bringing more Didis into his fold and throwing out those who support his rival. This is what he plotted during his recent trip to Berlin sector.

MORE ABOUT RUDRANANDA'S CONTROL

Almost all the main workers of Ranchi group are in the hand of Rudrananda. Indeed Rudrananada is gearing up to throw out Nigamananda. Rudrananda is merely waiting for right time. The recent DMS debacle has only hastened that moment. With this view, Rudrananda went to Europe/ Sweden and contacted many wts. Everyone should know that Rudrananda is a sweet talker and a shrewd diplomat. He has the knack to win over the support of other workers. Rudrananda tells various wts: "I am the guardian of Baba; I will not allow any wrong person to come inside and go against Baba's guidelines." With his seemingly charming nature and so-called promises, Rudrananda is able to bring people under his spell. Verily, by this point, Dada Nigamananda has basically lost this battle. So now Rudrananda is merely waiting for the most opportune moment to take over the entire faction and push Nigamananda aside. Rudrananda's main fear is that Nigamananda still has GS Dada Dhruvananda in his pocket. Plus Rudrananda is slightly concerned about how difficult it will be to collect money for their legal cases once Nigamananda is gone.

WHERE THINGS ARE NOW: RUDRANANDA WANTS TO JETTISON PP DADA

With the recent DMS debacle in his rear-view mirror, Rudrananda has set his course of action. Rudrananda thinks that he should throw PP Dada away and have all the power. This DMS incident is the first time when PP took a stand against him. This "PP" was supposed to behave equally to both Rudrananda and Nigamananda; that is why he was selected. Actually when the election for the new so-called PP was going on, then both Rudrananda and Nigamananda wanted to become PP themselves. But this could not happen because it is not possible to have two PPs and they could not trust each other to become PP. So they had to compromise and go with a third party candidate, i.e. Dada Vishvadevananda. In Vishvadevananda they found a donkey that both of them could ride. Vishvadevananda accept both equally as owners. The idea was that practically speaking the PP post would be split half-half between Nigamananda and Rudrananda, and that it would be executed by their spoon, Vishvadevananda. But now that PP has openly supported Nigamananda on this point of Berlin DMS, Rudrananda got very frustrated and he is going to take revenge soon.

Where the analytical [groupist] approach is engraved in people's social psychology, separatist tendencies flow through their bones, blood and marrow. Baba says, "In spiritual life as well as in ordinary life, if one retains simplicity it is helpful for the attainment of God; through this one's life and mind become filled with the effulgence of Parama Purusa. This is the supreme attainment. Spying out every nook and cranny of the eight occult powers is another name for stupidity." (SC-2, p.149) Note: Unfortunately in the general society people think that occult powers themselves are the essence of spirituality. Indeed, devoid of occult powers, such persons do not have any concept of spirituality. In AM however it is different; it is not like that. In our Marga devotion gets utmost importance.
