"When margiis attend DMS, they go for 3 days. But Wts allot 7 days for their stay at DMS. They have 2 days before the actual DMS, 2 days after, as well as the 3 main days of DMS. So they stay at Ananda Nagar for a total of 7 days.
                                                                                                                                    
Unfortunately at the recent Ranchi DMS gathering in Ananda Nagar, the mass of workers paid Delhi SS (Ranchi), i.e. Dada Amaleshananda, for their food and meals, yet SS shut down the kitchen during DMS - i.e. the middle 3 days. So general workers were not given food during this period; plus there was a water shortage. Yet side by side SS Dada arranged for a special chef to prepare food for top dadas.

There were many issues and certainly one key matter is: "haves" vs "have-nots". Specifically certain in-charges treated themselves to delicious delicacies while the general workers were the have-nots, deprived of food during DMS. They were forced to find food for themselves."

The food situation for general Wts at DMS was unacceptable; here is further reporting about what transpired. First I wish to also add that, I found the comparison of SS and other top Dadas with the demon king to be totally appropriate.

FOOD NOT PROVIDED TO GENERAL WTS AT DMS

At the May 2012 DMS in Ananda Nagar, SS Delhi Dada Amaleshananda collected 200 rupees from all workers for their food in Ananda Nagar during their 7-day stay. For the first two days and the last two days, sub-standard food was provided for workers. But during the middle three days when the actual DMS was going on, SS Dada closed down the kitchen entirely. That meant there was no food for general workers.

All those field workers then had no access to food during DMS.

Workers were left to wander around looking to feed themselves; plus, there was a serious water shortage. It was an awful condition; and yet our wts had paid for 7 days worth of food. But SS Dada did not arrange for even a single mouthful of food to be served during the 3 middle days of their DMS stay. So our wt workers were left to scrounge around for food. And during the extreme summer heat, water was scarce. All in all, it was a very uncomfortable and inhumane way to treat our workers.

BIG DADAS HAVE THEIR OWN PRIVATE CHEF & SPECIAL SELECTIONS

Yet, side by side, for top Dadas, SS Delhi Amaleshananda arranged a special chef and made sure that high-quality food was served throughout the entire DMS. That means those bosses and big dadas received special, royal treatment: Tasty, sumptuous food for each and every meal prepared for them by a qualified and trained chef. Plus they had boxes and boxes of purified, bottled water during this summer DMS where temperatures reached high levels.

So those big dadas had top-grade provisions for food and drink, while the mass of wt workers were not given any food during the middle three days of their DMS stay - and sub-standard food the other days.

ALL MONEY DIVERTED SOMEWHERE ELSE

This led to a lot of anxiety and frustration amongst the general wts. Their bosses had collected money from them, yet during the 3 days of DMS those same bosses spent that money on fancy meals for themselves, while general workers were deprived even basic food. The whole situation was shameful.

SS collected money from margiis, and non-margiis to feed wts at DMS. Various schools, and BPs also generously donated for the cause, yet that money was funneled somewhere else. People consciously donated money specifically for worker meals during their DMS stay, yet that money was used by big dadas in a separate manner.

Such is the selfish and greedy quality of those top workers. Again, this entire situation of extreme inequality was put into motion by SS Dada and his seniors at the recent summer DMS in Ananda Nagar.

[1] Amu'ly Man'i = Literally meaning priceless jewels, but the true meaning is that supreme spiritual wealth which can't be purchased with worldly riches.

Note: In this above Prabhat Samgiita Baba is teaching us that not everything can be understood with the intellect; the human intellect has its inherent  limitation. Second, material wealth also has its inherent limitation. With the strength of worldly wealth one cannot do everything. One cannot fulfill all the longings nor all the desires. Money is not the be-all and end-all of life. So people should be alert.

As Ananda Margiis, we should be critically aware about harmful activities going on around the world. First and foremost, our duty is to save the children. It is the collective responsibility of society to watch for the welfare of children. If our youths are exploited, we are all to be held accountable.

With the extreme growth of capitalism, exploitation is multiplying.

At present, in the US, 100,000 children are forced into prostitution. The condition in so-called 3rd world countries is far worse. Criminals are kidnapping young girls from poor countries and selling them in rich countries.

Here is how it works: First such kidnappers gain the trust and friendship of these girls, and then befool those girls into thinking that they will get a good job and have a bright future. Thus, girls are manipulated and deceived into thinking that their lives hold great promise. Little do they suspect the vileness that actually awaits them. The situation is grave and tragic and needs our intervention. 

Most shocking is that teenage girls from our children's homes in India are also missing - and, some say, caught up in this mess.

FBI: Nationwide child prostitution sweep leads to

104 arrests, 79 children rescued

Washington (CNN) — During a three-day law enforcement sweep targeting the problem of teenage prostitution, officers rescued 79 children and arrested 104 alleged pimps, the FBI announced Monday.
Operation Cross Country 6 took place from Friday though Sunday with more than 2,500 state, local and federal officers working in 57 cities.

FBI Acting Executive Assistant Director Kevin Perkins said the children law enforcement freed from their handlers ranged from 13 to 17 years old with one girl saying she had gotten involved in prostitution when she was 11.
"Many times the children that are taken in in these types of criminal activities are children that are disaffected, they are from broken homes, they may be on the street themselves — they are really looking for a meal, they are looking for shelter, they are looking for someone to take care of them, and that's really the first approach that's made," said Perkins.
"Once the child has been taken out of harm's way, then really the story just begins at that point," said Perkins. "That's where the real work starts, where we have to call upon the community, various social welfare agencies, our own office of victim assistance has to work with each child on an individual basis to see what their requirements are.
"This is a very difficult task. These children are very damaged — very harmed, and they need a great deal of help — it's really taxing the social welfare agencies and it's something that, going forward, we need to pay particular attention to."
Even though the FBI says 79 children were rescued, officials said there's no guarantee those minors won't be lured back into prostitution.
"A lot of these kids feel like they are in love, and therefore many of them will go back, so it's not only important that they get help, but they need a specialized kind of help," said Ernie Allen, president of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
According to Perkins, the people exploiting children in this manner are engaged in organized crime and have business plans and strategies. He said such criminals know their market and will move kids from state to state to service clients. The criminals use various methods including the Internet to find vulnerable kids. They also may find them at bus stations or truck stops and offer them help as a first step to winning their confidence.
Operation Cross Country is part of the FBI's Innocence Lost National Initiative which was started in 2003. With 47 task forces and working groups, the FBI says more than 2,200 children have been pulled off the streets along with more than 1,000 convictions of people exploiting kids. According to the FBI, many of the convictions have resulted in long prison sentences, including eight life terms.
Despite those figures, the FBI and child advocates said child prostitution continues to be a serious problem and they called on the public to realize it can happen in any town and neighborhood.

Allen said the best estimate is that at least 100,000 American kids get lured into prostitution every year.

"In the Hindu religion, there is one dogma of carrying the dead body to holy places ["tiirthas"]. Then they will get a special place in heaven. That is why from all around the globe Hindus carry the dead body to Varanasi for cremation. Those who do not have sufficient money cremate the body wherever they can and then carry the ashes to Varanasi, or any of the other holy places / [so-called] tiirthas.

In India, this Hindu dogma has entered into Ananda Marga. When Nigamanandji died in Delhi, his body was carried to the [so-called] tiirtha of Ananda Nagar. His supporters are trying to make one shrine there. Already a huge tomb has been constructed for Nigamanandji. The dogma is being spread around that by visiting that tomb and doing sadhana then one will get special grace. If you visit Ananda Nagar, you will find many persons visiting in order to get some grace of Nigamanandji.

Those margiis who are strict in Ista oppose this type of dogma."

DIMENSIONS OF THE TOMB & MORE

Yes, this is true. Dada Acintanandji constructed a tomb / shrine for Ac Nigamanandji in Ananda Nagar. It is quite large and there is nothing else like it throughout all of Ananda Nagar.

The dimensions of Nigamanandji's tomb are: 12 ft long, by 10 feet wide, by 4 ft high. Thus it is a big tomb. Suffice to say that it is large enough that at least ten people can lie down and sleep on this tomb.

I too have seen how various Wts are going to this tomb to get Nigamanandji's blessing. They go there for sadhana and even sleep there thinking they will receive special boons from Nigamananda Dada. Those with more news about this should come forward.

Here I want to discuss the motivation behind the construction of such a tomb - which we all know is totally against Baba's system.

WHY MAKING IT INTO A SHRINE

Dada Acintananda is not content to merely keep that tomb as is. Rather Dada has the grand plan to add marble and make Nigamananda's tomb into a veritable shrine, i.e. one beautiful building which houses the tomb. There will also be an engraving detailing the contributions of Dada Nigamananda and list the name of the person (Acintananda) who erected this shrine. In its totality, this shrine will be some type of symbolic edifice like the Taj Mahal. Needless to say, this is a further contravention of AM ideals.

You might be curious to know why Acintananda wants to turn Nigamanandji's tomb into a shrine?

Well, here's the answer.

Those close to the situation say that Acintananda wants others to build a tomb and shrine for him (i.e. Acintananda) one day. Acintananda thinks that by constructing both a tomb and shrine of Nigamanandji, then it will set the precedent for others to make a tomb and a shrine for himself (i.e. Acintananda). Apparently, that is Acintananda's mentality. Dada Acintananda wants to be remembered and regarded forever. That is the chief reason why Acintananda constructed such a tomb for Nigamanandji, by going against Baba's fundamental teaching.

TOMB WORSHIP HINDERS OUR DEVOTIONAL APPROACH

Here again is the inherent danger behind erecting such a tomb to honor the deceased. Then one will be giving too much importance to the those who have left this mortal world. Such tomb worshippers will not have the requisite psychic space to do sadhana and think about Parama Purusa Baba. Rather they will be too involved in remembering those who have passed. As sadhakas, we should never fall prone to this tomb worship dogma. There is no benefit, only harm.

Tadekaḿ smarámah tadekaḿ japáma
Tadekaḿ jagatsáksiirúpaḿ namámah.

Our Guru's teaching guides us what to ideate upon:

“If I remember anyone, I will remember only that One Entity and not many. If I repeat anyone’s name, I will repeat only the name of the Lord. If I ever salute anyone, I will salute only the Supreme One and no one else.” (Ananda Marga Ideology and Way of Life - 11, Relativity and the Supreme Entity)

Here we should all keep in mind that in Ananda Marga, we do not believe in this tomb worship dogma which comes from the Semitic religions (Islam, Christianity & Judaism etc); and, it is also prevalent in Hinduism. But in AM this is not appreciated. If we keep quiet more and more dogmas will sprout and ruin everything. We should ideate and meditate more and more on Parama Purusa. Only by this way can one get salvation.

Note: MORE ABOUT THIS...

There is talk that Dada Nigamananda left a large sum of money with Dada Acintananda to make such a construction. So, as a friend of Nigamanandaji, Acintananda is feeling obligated to fulfill Nigamananda's request. Others are telling that, after all, this is organizational money and Dada Acintananda should not misuse those funds by constructing such a shrine.

 

 

PRABHAT SAMGIITA

Human society is one and indivisible - collectively we have to express this glorious ideal with song, dance, and music. We cannot allow our human society to be divided. We have to propagate the idea that human society is one and indivisible. O' my brothers and sisters, we have to march ahead and form one human society without delay. We have to remove all sorts of problems and difficulties that hinder our forward movement of forming one human society. Those difficulties are like thorns and they must be rooted out. One human society must be formed. We have to sing this glory. 

All human beings are my brothers and sisters, my own close and very intimate ones. No one is far or distant. Everyone is my kith and kin, nearest and dearest. If all human beings are moving collectively in one flow then Parama Purusa always remains with them. And He is ever-gracious on them. When human beings are fragmented then they go far from Parama Purusa - away from His grace. If all human beings are moving together towards Him in the form of one human society then this dusty earth will be turned into one golden paradise.

In the past I got swept away in the negative current, i.e the dogma of groupism and indulging in disparities. I kept other human beings, my brothers and sisters, distant and far away from me - thinking that they belonged to another group. This was my ignorance. It all happened because I fell into the dogma of groupism. I was moving in a negative direction away from Baba's divine teaching.

Today, by His grace, I have corrected myself and will work tirelessly for everybody's perfect peace.  We have to sing the glory of one human society; human society is one and indivisible...

Our Ananda Marga festival, Shravanii Purnima, is very soon soon: Thursday, August 2, 2012. Below is an excerpt (in brown) from the earlier letter on this thread; thereafter is Baba's personal account of this holy and auspicious occasion.

"Regarding Shra'van'ii Pu'rn'ima', one important fact remains that Baba performed the first initiation in the cemetery. So this reveals and foreshadows how in each and every Ananda Margii's life the cemetery has immense practical value. Those suffering from the dogma that the cemetery is only for avadhutas or kapalikas should gain the proper understanding. Our AM meditation is tantra sadhana and that has relevance and importance for each and every Ananda Margii. That is the special significance why the first disciple Kalicharanji was initiated in the cemetery."

BABA'S PERSONAL ACCOUNT OF SHRAVANII PURNIMA

Here below Baba Himself recounts the scene of that auspicious Shra'van'ii Pu'rn'ima' when He performed His first initiation.

Baba says, "This is Shra'van'ii Pu'rn'ima'. It is an important day. Then I was very young, studying in Vidy'asagar College in Calcutta. One evening a
very interesting event took place. Suddenly a wicked person came near me. I use the word 'wicked', but it is not a permanent state of human beings. A
person who is wicked today may be a noble person tomorrow, and one who is dull or stupid today may be wise tomorrow. These are all relative matters
bound by the bondages of relativity. No one can be called permanently wicked. It should always be borne in mind that one should always try to
develop the good and the subtle in a wicked person."

"That evening a certain wicked person came to me. What could he expect from me? But then he came. In accordance with natural human psychology, I asked him, "What do you want? Why do you adopt this evil path?" In the course of our conversation, he realized that he should change the course of his life, and he took initiation. That was the first spiritual initiation I ever imparted to anyone. And that same day, Shra'van'ii Pu'rnima, has again
returned."

"A long time has elapsed since then. That was perhaps in 1939. This all took place 41 years ago." (A Few Problems Solved - 5, p. 27-28)

GREAT IMPORTANCE OF REPENTANCE

When a sadhaka feels repentance for his sins or crimes in the deep core of his heart, then grace personified Parama Purusa takes away all those negativesamskaras. And He blesses that sadhaka with His unfathomable grace. That is what happened with Kalicharanji. For Kalicharanji was that "wicked" person who approached Baba that evening and took initiation into AM tantra sadhana.

Here following Baba reveals the importance of repentance.

Baba says, "Someone might have committed a pa'taka [sin of commission], but after that wrong action feels repentance, and compensates for the harm his action caused. After such repentance and compensation, the action is no longer a sin...that person's sin has been washed away." (Discourses on Krsna and the Giita, p. 176)

Baba says, "If, knowingly or unknowingly, you have committed any mistake or any sin, then your repentance and your singing Kiirtana, wholeheartedly, will free you from all sins. So, your future is always bright, never dark, never dark." (Ananda Vacanamrtam - 12)

Dharmic Warning to PP Dada

Baba, You have graciously appeared in this Cimmerian darkness. By Your holy advent, everything has become filled with Your divine aura & effulgence. By Your causeless grace, all the dirt, staticity, negativity was removed in a flash. The Cimmerian darkness has amazingly changed into effulgence, in no time, by Your divine Presence.

Baba, the clusters of clouds of confusion and dilemma which previously covered my life since ages was blown away in a flash by Your sweet attraction. You have magically removed all my burdens and pains and pulled me very close to You - in Your closest proximity. Baba, now I understand that by Your divine compassion I am never alone - nor am I neglected.

Baba You are always remaining with me, close by, lovingly taking care of everything. This fact I know; even then I cry in Your longing. And that often cry remains unheeded by You. Baba it seems You have forgotten. Yet this also is nothing but Your loving liila for drawing me closer to You. By Your infinite love and causeless grace, that also I understand.

Baba, You have come to the darkness and filled everything with love...

== DHARMIC WARNING TO PP DADA ==

Note: This following letter is related with respected PP Dada. I am very much concerned by his not following certain dharmic codes like attending dharmacakra etc. Why am I writing this? Because I have love, affection, and respect for PP Dada. I do not want to see PP's downfall or degeneration. With this empathetic mindset, I am forced to write in this manner. This is my sole motive. Sometimes one has to engage in hard talk. People may not like to hear it, but it is for PP's welfare.

Namaskar,

Baba says, "You are to attend Dharmacakra weekly. These are all codes of discipline as prescribed by Bhágavata Dharma. You must follow these codes. There cannot be any concession in this respect, rather concession is dangerous...One may be a king or may be a very poor man, but the code of dharma is equally applicable to all. In this matter, nobody can claim any special concession or favour." (Subhasita Samgraha - 24, Jaeva Dharma and Bhágavata Dharma)

1. Baba's above guideline is quite clear. Every Ananda Margii must adhere to the codes of dharma - i.e. Ananda Marga ideological principles. No one in the Marga is above these practices, regardless of their post or birth etc.

2. Unfortunately, the various PP Dadas are unable to follow the most basic aspect of this code: "Attend dharmacakra weekly."

3. At present, PP Dada Kinshuk is kept away and unable to attend DC; he has not been granted this fundamental right by the leaders of Tiljala.

4. And a similar scene is the case with PP Vishvadevananda on the Ranchi side.

5. It is entirely shameful that our top post holders are unable to adhere to the tenets of AM ideology.


WORSE THAN THE DOGMATIC RELIGIONS

6. Even the dogmatic religions are not as bad as this. For instance, in Islam & Christianity etc- regardless of one's post - they must go and attend namaz or prayer. Dogmatic or not, at least they follow what they preach. They adhere to their scripture. No one is exempt from this basic duty and responsibility. But unfortunately our PP Dada(s) do not follow what they preach. They give lectures based on Subhasita Samgraha but in their conduct they do not follow those same guidelines.

7. Nowadays, that basic degree of honesty and integrity is not present in our Marga. The various groups set-up their own separate rules regarding PP Dada's code of conduct that are totally contrary to what Baba has given. So they do not follow the Preceptor. They do not follow their own shastra, i.e. AM ideology.

8. This is the standard on display nowadays in the Marga: The top leaders are not held up to the mirror of Baba's teachings. How can we expect to build a brilliant AM society when even our PP Dada(s) do not follow basic mandates like attending the weekly dharmacakra.

PP DADA SKIPPED MANY DHARMIC PRACTICES

9. Let us never forget that from 1990 all the way up to his death on 15th October 2008, i.e. 18 years, PP Dada Shraddhananda skipped so many fundamental dharmic practices.

(a) PP did not attend dharmacakra;
(b) PP did not sing Prabhat Samgiita;
(c) PP did not dance or sing kiirtan;
(d) PP did not participate in akhanda kiirtan;
(e) PP did not do madhura sadhana;
(f) PP did not attend paincajanya;
(g) PP did not sit for Guru Puja;
(h) PP did not raise the slogan, Parama Pita Baba Ki - Jai, for Baba;
(i) Rather, PP thought everyone was raising the Parama Pita Baba Ki - Jai slogan for PP himself; PP mistakenly assumed that the margiis were chanting the slogan in his own honour - i.e. the honour of PP Dada;
(j) In a similar fashion, PP was receiving the VSS salute to the Divine Father - PP thought that this salute was for him, when really it is for Baba;
(k) PP was giving marriage blessing as if he was Baba.

All these wrongs against dharma were committed by PP Dada Shraddhananda in the psycho-spiritual realm.

Plus, in the social sphere, PP was convinced not to use the phone or email in order to show that he was just like Baba. But Baba is Parama Purusa so He knew everything and therefore He did not need a phone to receive any news etc. As an ego boost, PP Dada thought he could do the same thing.

Initially, because of Sarvatmananda's manipulation, and later on because of Rudrananda's influence, Shraddhananda was internally convinced that he was above the level of human beings. PP Dada thought that he himself was sitting on the seat of Parama Purusa and receiving the salute to the Divine Father i.e. Parama Purusa.  So there was no need for him to follow dharmic codes like the point of dharmacakra. That was Shraddhanandji's mind-set. He wrongly reasoned in this way due to his inflated ego, Sarvatmananda's coaxing, and later on Rudrananda's prompting.

And behold what happened to our Marga under his tenure.

Now the current PP Dadas are falling in the same trap and will meet the same fate, if they do not mend their ways.

PP MUST SUFFER THE CONSEQUENCES

10. Because he held the high post of Purodha Pramukha, PP Dada wrongly thought that he need not adhere to the principles of dharma like attending dharmacakra. Yet that is exactly Baba's warning. On points of dharma, whether one is a king, prime minister, president or even purodha pramukha, there must not be any concession. 

Baba says, "One may be a king or may be a very poor man, but the code of dharma is equally applicable to all. In this matter, nobody can claim any special concession or favour." (Subhasita Samgraha - 24, Jaeva Dharma and Bhágavata Dharma)

Thus everyone, regardless of their post or position, must follow bhagavata dharma. Baba furthermore issues the following warning.

Baba says, "There cannot be any concession in this respect, rather concession is dangerous." (Subhasita Samgraha - 24, Jaeva Dharma and Bhágavata Dharma)

Sadly, due to not following the dharmic code of attending dharmacakra, PP Dada fell. Since his demise, Shraddhanandji has certainly been facing negative pratisaincara - that is Baba's warning: If you do not follow dharmic principles like attending dharmacakra, then you are not going to get human life, let alone mukti or moksa.

So the tragedy is that now Shraddhananda must have been reborn as an animal. Emotionally, we may not like to think and talk in this manner, but prakrti does not care about our emotions. Prakrti follows the rule made by Parama Purusa. Whether we like to consider it or not, but Shraddhananda must have been reborn as an animal. Today, he must be struggling for survival in the animal kingdom. Why? Because on points of dharma there must not be any compromise or concession, yet PP made concessions and departed from the code of dharma by not attending dharmacakra.

It is our duty to warn the current PP's - Kinshuk and Vishvadevananda: Beware, do not pave the path of your degeneration down some wide, concrete, downward sloping avenue. Do not spend your life easily gliding in this degenerative way. The end will not be good.

ALERT THE TWO PP'S OF TODAY

11. Attention Readers: Please forward this letter to these two current PP's, assuming they receive email. They should not be drowned in their own silly logic - prakrti will not spare them. If these two PP's do not mend their ways, they will be forced to suffer. After their demise, these PP Dadas will be reborn as animals. Neither Rudrananda nor Sarvatmananda will be able to save them; whether Rudrananda and Sarvatmananda are living or not, neither will be in any position to help their PP Dada. Rather, these two PP Dadas - Kinshuk and Vishvadevananda - will have to suffer the blows of prakrti and suffer the horrors of animal life. There is no other way, if they continue their present course.

Please re-read Baba's teaching and pay careful attention to this line:

"One may be a king or may be a very poor man, but the code of dharma is equally applicable to all. In this matter, nobody can claim any special concession or favour." (Subhasita Samgraha - 24, Jaeva Dharma and Bhágavata Dharma)

12. Unfortunately, now the various groups - for whatever reason - are perpetuating all or many of these same dogmas surrounding their selected PP Dada. So their PP refrains from so many dharmic practices.

Those who want the welfare of everyone - including the welfare of these two PP's - should try to convince Kinshuk and Vishvadevanandji to open their eyes after shaking off their ego. Otherwise the black hand of maya will not spare them. It will drag them into negative pratisaincara / animal life.

BABA'S MANDATE

13. The answer is quite clear. Everyone in Ananda Marga, irrespective of their post, must follow bhagavata dharma, i.e. the teachings and mandates as outlined by Lord Shrii Shrii Anandamurtiji. Then and only then will we be able to build up a dharmic society founded on the principles of AM ideology.

Note: WHY AM I WRITING?

Here again why am I writing this? Because I have love for PP and I have love, affection and respect for all Ananda Margiis, including Sarvatmananda and Rudrananda. I do not want to see anyone's downfall or degeneration. With that empathetic mindset, I am forced to write like this. This is my sole motive. Sometimes one has to engage in hard talk - people may not like to hear it, but it is for their welfare.

Note 2: AN IMPORTANT DISTINCTION

There remains one important distinction to make:

(a) Those margiis and workers who sincerely try to follow bhagavata dharma will certainly receive Baba's divine grace. Baba has expressed this point again and again in His teachings. In the course of their life, even good sadhakas are bound to make mistakes. By seeing their earnest desire, Baba will shower His immense grace to help them proceed on the path and reach their cherished Goal.

(b) In contrast, those confirmed sinners who knowingly disobey and intentionally alter Guru's divine guidelines will have to suffer the consequences of their sinful acts. For them, there is no escape. According to the laws of prakrti, they will be caught in negative pratisaincara. They will have to undergo rebirth to face their bad samskaras.

Here the point is that sincere Ananda Margiis who adhere to Guru's guidelines will always get Baba's blessing. By His grace they will reach unto Him. That is His explicit guarantee. Those who knowingly go against Guru for their selfish gain do not fall in this category. They must meet face the consequences.

"Diidii Ananda Niitimaya receives all those "supplies", i.e. those donated goods: (winter clothing, blankets, shoes, medicine, silverware / utensils, household items etc). Then she orders her various junior Diidiis to repack them into various bundles. Then they all load everything up onto the train and Diidii herself rides along with all that cargo to her laokik home. She then distributes that booty amongst her entire extended family: close relations plus cousins, cousin-brothers, aunts, nieces, and in-laws. They "gobble-up" all those donations. Those goods were meant for our acaryas and social service projects etc, yet it all gets routed to Diidiiji's ancestral home. This is the way it works. And when various Dadas visit the area, they see all those supplies being used there in the home."
 

REAL DAREDEVIL

It is remarkable that Diidii Ananda Niitimaya does not even feel the need to hide or conceal what she is doing. These junior workers are aware about what is going on. Ananda Niitimaya is quite blunt about her plans. She has the mind-set of a veritable daredevil. She is like a thief who breaks into a house and then starts singing loudly while stealing everything inside. Such a thief has no fear and wants everyone to know that he has no shame or care. Similarly, Diidiiji absolutely revels in her role. She boldly delights in the idea of diverting hundreds of kilograms of donations to her laokika home. Otherwise, how could she carry on in this way: Flaunting her ways for all to see.

So that is the the inside story about the many donations given to some of the Diidiis. Those donations get diverted to Ananda Niitimaya's laokik home and distributed amongst her extended family. Diidiiji either sends those blankets, woolen garments, and other products to her laokika family, or she sells those things and gives the money to her laokika family members. In either case, it is sheer duplicity and thievery.

Good margiis work hard to earn extra so they can donate to our service projects and contribute to the well-being of sannyasinii Diidiis who work in their field; yet Ananda Niitimaya unabashedly hijacks those donations.

As an acarya, Ananda Niitimaya is supposed to be concerned with the greater society; yet, by her actions, it is shown how she only cares for her own blood relations. In the name of Ananda Marga and serving universal humanity, she collects all kinds of goods and supplies, and then she funnels all those supplies to her worldly relatives. Those whom she is supposed to care about she ignores (i.e. the greater society), and those she is not supposed to have contact with, she cares for their every need and desire (i.e. her laokik family). This is the story of Niiitmaya's worker life.

Baba says, "Householders have to care for two families whereas the renunciates have to care for only one. The householders’ two families are their own small family consisting of father, mother, brothers, sisters, husband or wife, sons, daughters, etc. and the larger human family, that is, the entire universe. The householders will have to maintain a balance between both these families...Sannyasins do not have a small family of their own – their family is the entire universe." Gone are the days when patients held full trust in their doctors. In that earlier era, out of their deep desire to serve, doctors would guide their patients about their health and well-being. They performed their duty exclusively with the patient's welfare in mind - without any ulterior motive. With great care and compassion, they would inform patients about what to do, and what not to do. This was the norm. Those days are gone. Now, the vast majority of doctors have become business-minded. In the US, for instance, the "healthcare" system is not even referred to as medical service; but rather, the medical industry, where everything is based on the profit-motive.

This whole "culture" is very bad. On the one side, there are helpless patients; and, on the other, there are business-minded drug companies and business-minded doctors.

For these doctors and drug companies, service is not their motive - rather they want maximum profits. So they exploit the common people. These types of doctors and drug companies want more and more money from their helpless patients. Thus, they aggressively impose costly procedures and medicines on their patients. These medicines and procedures are not only useless and a waste of money, but harmful also. There are literally hundreds upon hundreds of such procedures and medicines that are unnecessarily imposed on helpless patients by these doctors and drug companies. This is the dramatic shift that has taken place. Of course not every doctor falls in this category; here we are only referring to the prevailing trend among physicians and the "medical industry."

We will talk gradually on these points - one by one.

Following is one topic which is related with female diseases. Doctors often encourage patients with this problem to get an operation. But that is not needed. Those interested can read the article:

A delay of 37 years in the trial of former railway minister L N
Mishra's killing prompted the Supreme Court on Wednesday to consider
calling for records of criminal appeals pending for more than 10 years
in all the courts of the country in order to ascertain the prime
reasons of delay and mull if "right to speedy trial can be
concretised".

The court, while agreeing that Ranjan Dwivedi, an accused in the 1975
murder case, has "suffered due to the delay in trial", said that the
real question was determining the yardsticks on freeing an accused on
account of a trial that may go on for more than 20-30 years.

Dwivedi has moved the court seeking to get his prosecution quashed due
to the overstretched trial.

"There is no doubt that right to speedy trial is a fundamental right
but the question is how to concretise this right. How can we decide
who was at fault in dragging a case? How do we deal with systemic
delays? Can we order that the prosecution against an accused, who has
suffered trials for more than 20-30 years for whatever reasons, should
stop? There are several issues," said a Bench of justices H L Dattu
and C K Prasad.

Admitting that this was an instance when "system has failed" in
delivering expeditious justice, the Bench said every case would
require weighing the reasons why the case was dragged for years and
who was responsible for it — accused, prosecution or the system.

"We may also want to look at the criminal appeals pending for more
than 10 years across the courts in the country and examine why they
linger. By accepting the analogy of a statement that discharging an
accused would mean acceptance that the system has failed, we will be
drawing up the guidelines and telling the trial courts to decide
matters within a time-frame," said the Bench.

But, in the present case, the Bench said if the proceedings were
quashed, it might amount to sending "wrong signals" and a "smart
accused" could in future resort to delaying tactics. It asked senior
advocate T R Andhyarujina, who argued the case, to answer by Thursday
if it was acceptable that the SC ask the trial court to conclude the
case in three months.

CEMETERY SADHANA IS FOR ALL:

EVERYONE IN AM IS A TANTRIKA

Regarding Shra'van'ii Pu'rn'ima', one important fact remains that Baba performed the first initiation in the cemetery. So this reveals and foreshadows how in each and every Ananda Margii's life the cemetery has immense practical value. Those suffering from the dogma that the cemetery is only for avadhutas or kapalikas should gain the proper understanding. Our AM meditation is tantra sadhana and that has relevance and importance for each and every Ananda Margii. That is the special significance why the first disciple Kalicharanji was initiated in the cemetery.

Now read the below transcript where Baba proclaims that doing sadhana in the cemetery is beneficial for all - everyone initiated in the the tantric cult of Ananda Marga sadhana - i.e. every Ananda Margii.

"CEMETERY IS VERY ENCOURAGING FOR SPIRITUAL ASPIRANTS"

Baba: "I like the entire world."

Margii: "Ah, no particular place."

Baba: "The cemetery is very encouraging for spiritual aspirants, for sadhakas."

Margii: "That is true - that is what we think. Whenever we go there we get inspired only to meditate and do nothing more."

Baba: "And many of the sadhakas were initiated there?"

Margii: "Yes, Baba. Especially at the beginning. And this brother...where he left us..."

Baba: "He went there [to the cemetery]? He was there [at the cemetery]?"

Margii: Yes, Baba.

BABA'S BLESSING

So once again the day of Shra'van'ii Pu'rn'ima' is coming: Each and every margii should try to visit the cemetery at least once in a year, or on a more regular basis such as on amavasya. But doing sadhana there on this Shra'van'ii Pu'rn'ima' is very good because human life is very short. So we should utilise it for higher pursuits. That will be real remembrance of Shra'van'ii Pu'rn'ima'.

Here following is Baba's divine blessing:

Baba says, "By dint of sadhana, one is to arouse and exalt that sleeping divinity. ...But for this, one requires divine help and I know further that one is getting divine help, and I know still further, that it is for infinite time and infinite space, one is getting this divine help, and you are all sadhakas, you will certainly attain the Supreme Stance and enjoy that divine blessedness. You are sure to enjoy it my sons and daughters." (Ananda Vacanamrtam - 23, p. 76)

Baba, the devotees say that You are gracious and that You shower Your divine love. Baba, I have heard so much about Your greatness and glory, but I myself do not have any practical realisation or direct experience of You and Your sweetness. Baba, I do not have any personal realisation of You. O' my dearmost, why don't You come to me; why are You not listening to my call; why don't You call my name and tell me that 'I love You'. O' Lord, in my practices I long for You and call You with my mantra but neither do You listen to my call nor do You come close. I have been following the account of this GS financial scam and am astonished by the sums of money involved - and the way the whole thing was handled.

What a blunder! GS Dada Citsvarupananda took loans from many, many margiis & Wts and lost everybody's money; then GS told them he got cheated. Who knows what really happened. All that can be said is that such type of Dada is so greedy.

When under the spell of greed - the brain itself does not function - and in that way he lost all that money. 

TWO WAYS OF BEING GREEDY

It could be that GS Dada Citsvarupananda is greedy - in one of two ways:

(A) Some say he was enticed by getting 25 crores rupees so he foolishly gave large amounts of money to an untrusted party in hopes of getting a big return. That is one form of greed.

(B) Or, others say all along GS had the plan to keep that money in his own pocket. That is to say, he took a loan of lakhs and lakhs of rupees from generous margiis and Wts with the sole intention of duping them and keeping the money for himself. Such a plan is also founded in greed.

In either case, the mind-set is not proper and certainly not befitting of an acarya - let alone the organisational head, i.e. GS Dada. When motivated by greed, then these types of scandals are common - unavoidable.

BABA'S WARNING ON GREED

That is why Baba has delivered a stern warning about the dangerous and sinful nature of greed.

Baba says, "Whether in the material world or in the intellectual world, the predominant tendency that makes today’s people, both individually and collectively, rush headlong without control, is the instinct of greed. The propensity of greed, if not controlled by rationality, or benevolent intellect, or spiritual practices, will lead to premature death. Nothing can save human beings from this. This instinct of greed has brought the present humanity to such a state that people no longer consider anything as sinful. Rather, they consider the “sin psychology” as a mental weakness, and the worst of sins are being glorified as the height of intellect, not only indirectly, but also openly. The omniscient Shiva observed the rampant expansion of materialism and its dangerous consequences and clearly stated, Lobhah pápasya hetubhútah [“Greed is the root cause of all sins”]." (Namah Shivaya Shantaya, Shivas Teachings – 1 (continued), Disc: 10)

OTHERS CHEATED BY GS DADA

Along with the many who already have been mentioned in previous letters, here are more who have been burned by this GS financial scandal.

Dada Mantracaetanyananda (RS Ranchi) was also cheated by GS. Dadaji gave 20,000 rupees to GS Citsvarupananda, yet RS Dada is not getting that money back. Although GS Dada has assured him that, "So long as you keep quiet, I will pay you back. But if you complain, or create any commotion, or talk about this, then I will not pay you back." That is the way GS Dada is handling the matter, at present.

Not only that, but Puna DSL also loaned GS Dada 25,000 rupees, and Didiji has not seen that money since. Who knows when Didiji will be paid back...if ever.

It seems that GS dada did not spare anyone - neither Dadas, nor Didis, nor so many margiis. All became victims of GS Dada's money scam.

== STORY OF DEMON'S KITCHEN & SS DELHI ==

Namaskar,
When margiis attend DMS, they go for 3 days. But Wts allot 7 days for their stay at DMS. They have 2 days before the actual DMS, 2 days after, as well as the 3 main days of DMS. So they stay at Ananda Nagar for a total of 7 days.
                                                                                                                                    
Unfortunately at the recent Ranchi DMS gathering in Ananda Nagar, the mass of workers paid Delhi SS (Ranchi), i.e. Dada Amaleshananda, for their food and meals, yet SS shut down the kitchen during DMS - i.e. the middle 3 days. So general workers were not given food during this period; plus there was a water shortage. Yet side by side SS Dada arranged for a special chef to prepare food for top dadas.

There were many issues and certainly one key matter is: "haves" vs "have-nots". Specifically certain in-charges treated themselves to delicious delicacies while the general workers were the have-nots, deprived of food during DMS. They were forced to find food for themselves.

A critical report on this issue is noted below.

First however we should review Baba's teachings on this important matter.

BABA STORY ABOUT DEMON KING'S GREEDINESS:

HOW HE HOARDED DELICACIES FOR HIMSELF

In His book "The Golden Lotus of the Blue Sea", Baba describes very colourfully how the demon indulges in sumptuous feasting while his staff is left to starve.

In this particular story, the demon king hoards huge amounts of food and luxuries and leaves his staff to starve: They are deprived of basic food and suffer from malnutrition. It seems similar things are happening with our top dadas.

Here the villain demon is introducing the hero guest, i.e. the prince, to his [the demon's] daily menu.

"Do you know what our daily menu is? We eat golden cakes fried in clarified butter, Pearl water mixed with coconut kernel, spiced Parble curry with salmon fish made of platinum and in the morning we brush our teeth with diamond powder!”

The prince asked, “Is there such an arrangement for everyone here?”

The demon said, “This arrangement is for us only – that is, for those who are learned, intellectual, rich, highborn and aristocratic. Those with whom you associate due to your ignorance – those poor, mean and illiterate people – where would they get such things? They neither know how to cook nor eat. They eat stale rice and scorched eggfruit and they brush their teeth with ash.”"

"The next day the prince went to the demon’s palace on invitation. He went there reluctantly, out of sheer courtesy. When he arrived, he found that there was a royal feast. Before him were spread so many dishes and bowls, some of gold, some of silver, some studded with diamonds, all finely carved. He did not even know the names of all the pots and utensils! The distance between some of the dishes was not less than one mile. There were some telescopes also to see the foods kept in the distant dishes. The prince was not familiar with most of the dishes served."

"Fancy rice, fried vegetables, green vegetables, mixed vegetables, breaded vegetables, seven hundred types of curry, roasted meats, braised meats, shik kabab, and besides these, something he could recognize very well – mangoes!"

"There were small langra mangoes of Hazipur, Dasherii mangoes of Lucknow, Alfonso mangoes of Bombay, yellow Jardalu mangoes of Bhagalpur, Fazli mangoes of Malda, Ranipasand, Begampasand, and Kohitoor mangoes of Murshidabad, Sarikhas mangoes of Hooghly, Pearafuli mangoes of Sheorafuli, Begunfuli mangoes of Madras, and so many other kinds as well!"

"Then there were lechees of Saharanpur, Muzzafarpur and Baruipur, watermelons from Lucknow, halwa-sweets; Rabri of Vrindaban, cream sweets, Ghevar sweets of Rajasthan, Shonpapri; Kalakanda Paura from Gaya and Deoghar, Morabba (Jam) from Suri, white milk sweet of Mankar, Sitabhog and Mihidana from Bardhaman, Gaja from Chandannagar, Khaichur of Janai-Dhanekhaii Langcha of Shaktigarh, tasty puffed rice balls from Jayanagar, Sarbhaja-sarpuria of Krsnanagar, Manohara from Beidanga, Chanabara; chanar-jellabee and Raskadamba from Murshidabad, curds from Natore and Nababganj, sweet rice pudding from Dacca, chandanchurd from Pabna, kancagolla of Muragacha (Nadia) and sweet laddu of Delhi..."

In this above section, you have read how the greedy demon was indulging in all kinds of tasty foods.

BABA STORY ABOUT DEMON KING'S GREEDINESS:

HOW HE MERCILESSLY DEPRIVED OTHERS OF FOOD

Now here read below how the demon's own staff was living. They were suffering from severe hunger and malnutrition as they were not allowed to eat any of the wonderful food they cooked for the demon king; rather forced to eat spoiled, rotten food. This was their pitiful condition.

"Let me see those cooks, servants and pages who prepared such delicious dishes and served them so elegantly,” [the hero guest] thought. While passing by the servants’ quarters [of the demon's staff], he suddenly reached the place where the kitchen staff were eating together after the day’s hard labour. They were quite exhausted. Those who had cooked so wonderfully and served so carefully were eating only stale rice, scorched eggfruit and the sour sauce of some leaves, perhaps tamarind."

Finally the hero guest, i.e. the prince, retires for the evening but is unable to sleep, thinking of all those starving people.

"The prince returned to his cottage with a heavy heart. So many thoughts were running in his brain. He was thinking that he had made a great mistake to eat and drink such delicious food and drink cooked and served by those poor people. The beautiful eyes of the prince were deprived of sleep that night. He was thinking continuously, “If I cannot free humanity from such meanness, what is the use of my education, my intellect? My coming to this earth as a human being bears no value.”"

Here in this story Baba is telling us that how degraded demons eat voraciously and do not care about their staff nor their fellow brothers and sisters. Rather they continue to exploit them.

In other words, we can say clearly that Baba is teaching us that we should treat all with respect and not create a two-tiered system of "haves" and "have nots" on the point of food etc. That is not the way for leaders of society to live - indeed those who contravene this rule are nothing but the enemies of humanity.

Baba says, "A few become rich and others become poor. In such a condition millions die without food, live without shelter, work without education, suffer without medicine and move without proper clothing. The society then splits into two distinct groups – haves and have-nots. The former is the class of exploiters – the capitalists – and the latter is the class of the exploited." (A Few Problems Solved - 8)

This above quote parallels what was going on at the recent DMS: How some Dadas were enjoying exotic dishes while others were not even getting basic food and almost starving.

PRABHAT SAMGIITA

"(Tumi) esechile mor bakul-bita'ne na' baliya' ka'r ghare..." (PS 4320)

Purport:

Baba, that time the place was surrounded by innumerable bakul flowers which in bloom, and You graced me by coming to my cottage during that verdant spring season. With Your divine grace, You brought devotional horripilation (goose bumps) throughout my entire existence, and You also vibrated the very pulsation of my blood. Baba, by having You in such an intimate and close way, my life has become meaningful. It is Your grace. Baba, soon after that golden dawn, Your liila moved into a different phase. Because then You went away leaving me crying all alone. O' my dearmost where did You go that time.

Baba, since then I have spent countless days and nights waiting - sitting by my window threading heaps of flower garlands for You. But that was all in vain because You did not come. It is painful that now I no longer see that attractive & charming smile because You are keeping Yourself distant. Now I no longer see that radiant smile which I used to see on Your lips when You were with me.  

Baba, in longing for You, ages have passed since You came close. Springtime has finished and now summer has come. My entire garden of those sweet, fragrant bakul flowers has dried up and withered away in this hot season [1]. Now that same window - where I used to sit and make garlands for You and wait - is full of spider webs. Baba, it is so painful and heartbreaking how You have gone so far away. And my mind is completely dry in the absence of Your divine presence.  

O' my Dearmost, please shower Your causeless grace and appear in my heart in a very intimate and charming way...

[1] Hot Season: In the absence of His presence, the sadhaka feels a distinct dryness in his heart. Summer season - or hot season - has been used as a metaphor in this song to express that dryness in the devotee's heart, where one's devotional feeling is lower. And this happens with each and every sadhaka. When one feels dry and out of their spiritual flow then that is the dry or summer season. In contrast, when one's flow of sadhana is good then that can be compared with springtime where everything is lush and verdant. In their dhya'na they feel greater proximity with Parama Purusa - that is why it is compared with springtime. But when one is experiencing the dryness of summer, that spiritual flow is not there. In that case, the best thing a devotee can do is to sincerely request Baba to grace them by coming in their meditation.

The priesthood in all religions used similar tactics to instill fears and false hopes amongst adherents. Our groupist leaders are no different. One such dogma is the idiotic mahaprayan divasa.

The glorious advent of that historical day is still fresh in my mind when the divine play between the staticity and divinity started happening [1]. That time the sweet, fragrant air was saturated with the aroma of the night jasmine; it was permeating the entire atmosphere. This yuthika' flower was full of sweetness & love. A sweet, mild breeze was blowing and various creatures including frogs were singing the chorus with great joy. the grace of Supreme Consciousness acted upon the crude mind with the divine force of ista mantra shakti. On that very day of Shravanii Purnima, new spiritual vibrations were created on this earth as the radiant effulgence pierced through the fog & the darkness. The memory of that Shra'van'ii Pu'rn'ima' is still fresh in my mind, by Your grace...

== THE BIRTH OF A'NANDA MA'RGA ==

Shra'van'ii Puurn'ima is coming soon: Thursday (Aug 2). This letter shares some of the highlights of this special occasion and festival of Ananda Marga.

In AM, everyone is aware that Baba started giving initiations in 1939: That began one auspicious and glorious era. So this coming festival dates is a special occasion because on that very day the Lord Himself initiated the first sadhaka unto the path of Ananda Marga. Baba Himself proclaims that Shra'van'ii Pu'rn'ima' night was the first occasion upon which He initiated anyone on the path according to the Ananda Marga sadhana system.

ANANDA MARGA IS THE PATH OF BLISS

Our Ananda Marga is the Path of Bliss. A'nanda means bliss and Ma'rga means path; hence, "path of bliss." And if one follows this path - His teachings of Ananda Marga - then one becomes ensconced in bliss: By reaching up to Parama Purusa and being bathed in His divine nectar, by His grace.

2-4 "A'nandam' Brahma itya'huh"
Meaning: This a'nanda is called Brahma

So our Marga is the path to Brahma. And Shravanii Purnima is the day when Baba graciously first revealed this path to humanity. So this is one highly memorable occasion as it marks the birth of Ananda Marga as we know it. It was on Shravanii Purnima that those devotees began performing AM sadhana, and thereafter began holding dharmacakra and following so many
spiritual teachings, by Baba's grace. Later on the organisation was formed in 1955; but, by then already Baba had beautifully created so many followers of Ananda Marga. That is why Shravanii Purnima in 1939 is the real birth of Ananda Marga - the path of bliss.

THE DEEP SIGNIFICANCE OF SHRA'VAN'II PU'RN'IMA'

Since that very day of Shra'van'ii Pu'rn'ima', the cosmic play started between the divine forces and crude forces. And ultimately the collective kundalinii got awakened and started rising up, by His grace. This entire scene Baba describes in the above Prabhat Samgiita.

The overall idea is that Baba has infused this whole world with His special vibration. And in that way there will be victory over the crudeness & staticity. That is what happened through that historic initiation of Kalicharanji in 1939.

In AM history this day of Shra'van'ii Pu'rn'ima' has deep importance, not just physical history but psychic and spiritual history too. It has a special significance because that day Parama Purusa infused His spiritual power and energy which is working and will work in future also. So this Shra'van'ii Pu'rn'ima' has great value.

In true sense human beings come on this earth to reach and achieve this goal - Parama Purus'a. And Parama Purusa Himself comes in the form of Ta'raka Brahma to help and execute this task. That is what was auspiciously started by our Sadguru Shrii Shrii Anandamurtiji in 1939 when He graciously performed His first initiation.

THE DIVINE APPEARANCE OF TARAKA BRAHMA

As every Ananda Margii has realised, His divine advent (Ananda Purnima) itself is very meaningful; and, so is the special day of Shravanii Purnima when He blessed humanity by initiating aspirants onto the divine path of AM tantra sadhana.  Both days are historic events. Because Ta'raka Brahma comes on this earth to liberate one and all from all sorts of bondages: physical, psychic and spiritual.

Baba says, "No one need harbour any doubt that Parama Purus'a exists to promote the well-being of all created beings. If He was not concerned about the welfare of the living unit beings, He would have remained in His unqualified stance forever and would not have manifested Himself as Ta'raka Brahma or Sagun'a Brahma. But He did manifest Himself in this way and has
just showed His intention of promoting the well-being of humanity. That is why He has given the assurance:"

"Paritra'n'ya..."

"Now what is the necessity for His repeated advent into this world? To ensure human welfare; about that there is no doubt. Human welfare primarily means welfare in the spiritual stratum..." (Prout in a Nutshell-11 pg 59-60)

SHARANAGATI = UNDER HIS DIVINE SHELTER

So we are fortunate and especially graced that Baba has taken us in His loving shelter. When He has graciousluy accepted us as His disciples, it means we are in His divine care.

Those who do not have that deeper connection with Baba, with their superficial understanding they may think that 'Baba has left us, He has gone, He did not fulfill...'. But those who are devotees have the real understanding. They know that Baba is with us, and that HE is always remaining along with us. And we can have His communication, & we can get His blessing in Guru cakra through the medium of the dhya'na sadhana that He has taught us.

BABA'S BLESSING

Baba says, "The one formless, beginningless and infinite Parama Brahma (Supreme Consciousness) is the only entity to be attained by living beings - That alone is Jagat Guru (the Supreme preceptor), That alone has revealed Brahmavidya (intuitional science) to us through the medium of the name and form of Shrii Shrii Anandamurtijii. Unit beings must be made to appreciate
Its majesty." (Caryacarya II p.1)
